  1. There's no explanation for absolute stupidity - I'm yet to see how this would have actually benefited the company or its employees...

  2. I wish EA would revive the series but knowing EA, they'd probably screw it up pretty badly...

  4. Not anymore. When I was fresh out of school and looking for a job, I would've. But I'd have taken any job back then. Game testing is a horrible profession. It's underpaid and holds zero respect among developers. And no it's not about playing games early. Most of the time you have to playtest certain situations over and over again, often without context. Trying to produce or re-produce bugs, or check if certain changes work or not. It's a highly repetitive and boring job, that will probably make you hate games before long if done as a profession. I'd love to play through unreleased but comlpeted games early too, but unfortunately being a game tester is not just about that. By the time you get a finished game in your hands, you are hating every inch of that game.

  5. I can’t say on gaming, but I have to have a dvd playing to get to sleep. I always play Family Guy, American Dad, or on occasion Futurama. I used to play South Park also, but I just can’t sleep to it.

  6. After the events of chapters 3/4 in RDR2, and what happens in Rhodes and St Denis, I feel a lot of guilt. Like I could and should have done something different. But those events are part of the story line and out of the gamers hands. So I don’t have any choice but to cry when they happen.

  7. I treat my OCD and insomnia by gaming. It has been more successful than anything else I've tried. A friend told me her therapist actually recommended gaming for OCD too, so this is a thing.

  8. Everyday, gaming businesses are increasingly becoming corrupt. Large corporations such as EA, Ubisoft, and Blizzard are only a few companies who are destroying their games with micropayments or premium material that should actually be in the game. It's a real shame.

  9. Yes. Like previous platforms, we'll see a very downward trend and eventually they'll stop making titles for such consoles years down the line. Just like the Xbox 360, video games are no longer being produced for this platform. This forces gamers to upgrade their console to the later version resulting in profits to the big companies.

  10. They even sold the game developer assets so if you are game developer you can use their library too.

  11. I wouldn't say these companies are the same. Their all terrible but they are all thier own unique flavours of shit. EA are greedy and keep pushing their avarice business practices. They also can't seem to stop embarrassing themselves with constantly and ludicrously defening their montization and that's why they always seem to be in some kind of PR controversy. As hard to believe as it is Acti-Blizzard are possibility even greedier than EA. Not only do they use loopholes to pay literally zero tax, but they got the balls to actully claim rebates on the tax their aren't paying! Unlike EA they at least have the common sense to keep thier shit filled traps shut for the most part. As for FucKonami... Well I think this image still pretty much sums it up: They simply just don't seem to give a shit about anything except pachinko machines and their own pettiness. They could probably make more money if they took game publishing seriously again but apparently they don't want to.
