  1. The best reward is a well written story. I don't need carrots to finish games. All I wish for is that the game properly acknowledges your deeds with a proper epilogue. Very few games get this right. Most end abruptly without any closure. As for optional quest rewards, the best motivator is a cool looking outfit. And that is why the popular opinion "cosmetic only microtransactions are fine" is bullshit. Getting better and more cool looking armor pieces is a core mechanic of every adventure game. Taking that aspect away makes the game worse. And I'll never pay for any in-game item with real money ever. And even if I did, buying something vs getting it as a reward for a quest is not the same.

  2. Do you guys remember when gaming mags allowed you to put orders in for exclusive products? I remember some magazines would have exclusive rights to sell some games and give away certain gaming memorabilia. I miss those days where you could get exclusive stuff no one else could elsewhere. I remember you could put an order in for random things, but I sadly never took advantage. Do you guys remember getting any cool games, swag, and other stuff from gaming magazines back in the day? And I'm not referring to demo discs though.

  3. Super Circuit was a pretty good one. I haven't played it for a while, but it's a solid entry into the Mario Kart franchise. I'm waiting for a sale to get Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on Switch. I'm not interested in spending $60 for it at the moment.

  5. I find it hard to believe that they can afford to spend ~£450 on a brand new video games console to resell and not make said ~£450 go far if they need it. I get it, 'supply and demand' and 'asset flipping' are all valid strategies of making more money in the system we live in, and I slow clappingly applaud them on the dubious honour of their bots winning the race to resell a popular item. I say hard to believe and not 'impossible' because there probably are one or two people who desperately need not just £450, but more than that going forward, and wouldn't do this if they could swallow their pride and do better. I'm sure one or two had resorted to selling furniture to no avail, relying on food banks, changing their phone's data plans or Hell, selling their current ones for an older model that can still support the internet for their job and to scalp. But not the hundreds or however many are doing this.

  7. For reference, check this video out. It'd be almost something like this except it bounded off two or three objects and dropped right at my feet lol

  8. I go where I can find a game I'm interested in. I really don't care one way or another.

  9. I tend to avoid Star Citizen as a subject matter because I know from experience that trying to engage with the fanbase is a waste of time. They are the most illogically loyal people you will ever find. They take fanboyism to a whole new level. They will feed this scam, and it is a scam, tens of millions of dollars year after after year. I'm actually dead serious, as a forum mod, when I say l will ban people for peddling this scam on VGR, and I'm not kidding.

  10. What do you mean normal game? Cheating in a coop game? All pvp games are inherently competitive, just because there is no prize money it's still a competition. And getting caught red handed in it, no matter the event should be a ban. And not even from that single game they were caught cheating in, but all games, ever released, and to be released. Harsh? Yes. But F. cheaters.

  11. There are two kinds of people in this world. People who buy EA Sports video games and people with an IQ high enough to actually spell IQ. Those games are made for idiots without any recognition that they're being exploited and are completely beyond help. A change in developer is not going to cure that. Those people like being exploited and the game company involved, whether it be EA or somebody else, would be more than happy to provide for them. So the short version of this answer is no, a change in developer would make no difference.

    Cutest video games

Animal Crossing, This is the one I seen others that has played played. Super cute and crazy addictive too. So much customization, trying to get cool items like the Nintendo stuff and set up a sweet house. I’ll pretty much play any game that has a grind to it or let's you fish, usually I'm not disappointed. But this is so much girly type cutest game. Followed by Fall Guys, It's just crazy and the characters are just look weird. But people/players love it.

Using a Gaming PC for Art

Same, If you aim at building a gaming system then it also means that it can run just about everything else. Like photoshop and video editing 🙂 Most cards have the encoding chips as well as 3D chips and gaming wise users 3D chips.

  14. I'm mostly digital now. There's only two times I can think of where I might go physical: 1, when I want some tat like a statuette that comes with it, or 2, should my partner and I be able to go on a shopping trip and it's a talking point for when we eat out. With coronavirus and all, high street shopping is neither safe nor smart, especially in the place we'd like to go which is indoors and while spacious, has limited ventilation. So I'm afraid it's going to be almost exclusively digital, especially as the games industry gives me less reason to trust it with exclusive tat attached to appalling games.

  15. 100k? I'd take the money and run, there is no way to make decent game for that. At least not a complex game.

  17. About any Philips TV is great. They were the best and never let me down. When flat screen TV’s came out I made a dumbass move and sold mine to get the money for a flat screen. I regret it now, especially since they’re difficult to find. But if you can find one, snatch it up quick. I can promise you won’t regret it.

    VGR app?

We have a mobile compatible theme so when you access the forum through your mobile device it should work quite smoothly. Apps are expensive and timely to create, maintain, and improve upon. Perhaps as the community grows larger but as mentioned, I really feel the mobile version of the forum is more than sufficient.

  19. ANYTHING THAT YOU DON"T NEED TO WASH YOUR HANDS AFTER. So basically what I am screaming is, that I eat pizza with a knife and fork, and if you are against it, we can discuss it civilly over a twitter war. Fight me you hand eaters(Not eating actual hands, if you do for the love of god stay away from my hands).

  20. I personally don't like motion blur because it makes no sense to have the objects around you being blured lol . But if you think it's useless, then you should try "invert mouse" option in mouse settings xD

  22. Who in the hell play games at arcade in this day to day life? That's the passed and gone, nowadays gaming from home on our own platforms is the way of life and it's been like it for 10 or 20 years now. 80s and 90s were the days but not anymore. Yes may be lucky to see them at your local seaside township but nowadays it's mostly fun and get a toy or money and not many racing to shooting arcade games. I do see them around still but never seen anyone on them playing.
