  1. That is my TLDR opinion of the remake, bellow my full review. http://madblog.shacknet.us/mafia-definitive-edition/

  2. What are some consoles that had hidden things you could do? I know some consoles had expansion slots, or other slots on the bottom or side of the console. I always wondered what the NES's bottom door was for. I imagine you could install something there at some point. But what are some hidden things consoles can do? Maybe there's a secret menu you can get to, a connection like I mentioned above that takes a certain cart or adapter. I know the Sega Saturn for example had an expansion slot, but I never knew what it was for. I know there is a slot on the bottom of the N64, that could connect to a 64DD device, to I think add extra ram or something, or maybe a CD drive. I forget. Anyway, it never came to the states, but it was in Japan I believe. Actually, wasn't it for online support?

Hi guys! I'm new to this forum. I was reading you for like 1.5 year as non-member and finally decided to sign up. I like playing games and playing it from deep childhood, so would be happy to share my experience and to know some new from forum :)

  4. Finally someone sharing the same opinion as mine, i never liked the remake at all, maybe if you consider it as a whole other game then yes, it should be fine, but it shouldn't be called a remake for the original game at all, they just ruined everything and you don't feel like playing the original game at all. Ridiculous voice actors, modified storyline events, modified map...

  5. I remember setting mine to Underground because teenage me though it sounded cool, even though I had very little idea of what it actually did. The first thing that comes to mind for me is that on the PS2, you can rotate the PlayStation logo so that you can have it the right way up both in horizontal and vertical mode. I just learned this quite recently and was blown away.

  6. I think I disagree with that. The fiction that we consume as a society says a lot about us and who we are and what we value. Conversely, the fiction that we consume also plays a role in shaping our society. I can't think of an example from a specific video game, but let's say there was a video game that had a negative/stereotypical portrayal of a trans person, for instance. For the people that are out there who think it's OK to be transphobic, playing that video game reinforces that belief in their minds.
