  1. Deus Ex kind of took a whack at it. In human revolution and Mankind divided, people with robotic implants were constantly discriminated against, even had assigned sections of the restaurants depending on if they had them or not. However, most of the rogue implant users were being manipulated by regular politicians without implants which shows that it doesn't matter the background of the person, it's their morals that matter. I alluded to this because most immigrants in foreign countries face the same kinds of discrimination but most of them aren't really the source of the problem. It's the leaders that incite a lot of this finger-pointing to deflect away from their actions which Deus Ex makes a very valid point.

  2. I don't know who has heard it, but I just did for the first time, and thought it should be posted.

  3. For those who are unaware, Starlink is a new internet provider that is made by Elon Musk and team at SpaceX. It will utilize a ton of satellites that they plan to put up in space, which is supposed to give you the ability to get internet pretty much everywhere. This means areas with no internet, could have some form of internet. Now, I saw a video on Starlink by Linus Tech Tips, and he said you can stream 4k content and play games, but it's not the best experience. But that's not the point, it will give people all over the world a stable connection. Anyway, this brings me to the game streaming platforms, like Amazon Luna and Google Stadia. There are others, but these two seem to get the most coverage right now. Anyway, do you think these services could work with Starlink? I'm going to guess no, because of the way game streaming runs, it needs a constant stable connection, and with Starlink I don't think you will get that. You can play games, but it isn't perfect, so I can only imagine it being even worse on starlink. But, who knows, maybe Starlink will get so good, that streaming games would be no problem. But what do you guys think?

  4. I used to play both Neverwinter and Star Trek Online and those games quickly became Pay 2 Win so their track record is off to a dodgy start. Second, the games were so flipping repetitive that I eventually got bored of it so not much confidence there either. Alien: Colonial Marines was such a letdown and that's probably why I'm not entirely getting so hyped up for this game. We need to see more in-game footage before I can take it seriously. If this was more like Alien: Isolation but in multi-player format, I'd probably be a bit more excited but we'll see.

  6. I've done it a few times and got some awesome games but most of the bundles always have a couple of games that are extremely mediocre. It's a bit hit and miss in my opinion.

  7. Built for gamers mostly, but other people use this software to communicate with friends and family from around the world. Is it getting old? The last major chat company I heard of was skype and it's actually dead but Discord has been on a roll lately except for there most recent "down time." I think discord has the potential to become a thing of the future. What are your thoughts on Discord and other platforms used to talk and communicate with people? Edit: Didn't know weather to put this in the gaming section or not since discord is mainly used for gaming communication but can be used for other things.

  8. Some ideologies simply don’t deserve the platform. You have a lot more faith in humanity than I do. Stupid and evil vs misguided and misinformed; it is all mixed together. Come stay in the USA for a week and then try to say that. Cause we surely are witnessing the stupid, the evil, the misguided, and the misinformed. In extreme cases of immoral ideology then I am probably right. In moderate ideologies then you are probably right.

  9. i still don't know why some people think that this issue happens only in their countries, when in fact, unfortunately, fools are being on trend on every single country, pretty unfair that everyone started losing hope on internet as only losers get famous and hardworking people get rarely noticed...

  11. as far as i know, cloud gaming is all on fast internet relying, so i don't think that people will be facing any issues when having satellite internet, the issue with satellite internet at general is the high ping, which i don't think it will be needed when gaming on cloud (nice expressions xD)

  12. I have Beavis & Butthead on Sega and SNES. Family Guy Back To The Multiverse on PS3. South Park on N64. And I came across a copy of Simpsons Hit & Run on PS2 the other day that I didn't know I had. To me an American Dad game would fit in nicely. Play as Hayley and hunt down her dad's buddies at the CIA ending up with a final boss fight against Bullock and Stan. She wins and the republiKKKlan party is destroyed and disbanded, everyone is finally a loyal Democrat, and the world is saved. That's a game I would play the hell out of.

  13. Most filmmakers look down on the gaming industry, I say we don't need them. It's already bad enough that now we have hollywood actors take the jobs of voice actors and taking huge salaries for it, we don't need star directors taking millions of dollars out of game's budgets also.

  15. That is a terrible video (I hate whatculture, I think they are tasteless humourless idiots) there is no good reason to play any of those games. Here are 7 terrible games that you actually should play: Alpha Protocol - It is a terrible, ugly, buggy videogame, with poor level design, but it has the best NPC standing system of any game, and a great branching story. Jalopy - It's a terrible game, but offers an opportunity to see what life behind the Berlin wall was like Splinter Cell Double Agent - It's a buggy unfinished mess of a game, but has one of the most thrilling experiences as an undercover agent and has some impossible story choices. Odyssey by Car - It's a terrible car game, but has one of the funkiest physics, that is strangely satisfying to master recommended to steer with a mouse APB Reloaded (aka All Points Bulletin) it is a struggling mmo slightly similar to GTA Online (it was made long before that it was even rumored that rockstar was going to buy it) the game itself is not great, I could say pretty awful, but it has the best chararcter creator of any game, despite being 10 years old, nobody has even come close to this level of customization. BeamNG.Drive - It's hard to call this a game as it mostly has no purpose or goal, more like a tech demo, but one that I've wasted 400+ hours with. While? Because it has the best damn crash physics ever Rigs of Rods - Basically the grandfather of BeamNG, which grew out of the modding community of ROR, it invented the physics principles Beamng is built on. It was once even featured on national TV on how forward looking the technology is, yet no mainstream developer has tried it hands at simulating physics like this, probably because it's high computation demand and unpredictabillity.

  16. As someone who does not live in the US this changes nothing. For me comic con, E3, etc, were always online only. Or magazine only before reliable internet access.

  17. Just some visual representation, here are Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey; Overall, I'm fairly happy with this choice. Assuming this is based on the first game, I may have chosen someone a little bit younger to play Ellie (Bella is 17, whereas Ellie was 14 in that game), but that's a nitpick and what's more important is that they've found two very capable actors. This is looking promising.
