I've never played it due to a phobia I have, so I honestly had no idea that it was already remastered.

I actually heard about this a couple of days ago. I would have stated a thread myself, but wanted to wait for more validity to the rumour. Now, you won't find very many people who love this franchise more than me, but even I can't get behind this at all. This is a complete waste of time, effort and cash, however little of those things it would actually take to pull this off. I don't think a sequel to Days Gone would have made me any happier as I didn't actually enjoy that game very much, but it would be easier to justify. I see this as an attempt to strike the hot pan close to the release of the upcoming TV show and that's about it. I hope they don't do it, but Sony are making more than thier fair share of bad decisions as of late, so we shouldn't be surprised. @The Blackangel The PS4 version of the game is a remaster already, just another reason why this rumoured PS5 version should not exist.

What??? Is this a late April fools? They really are going to trying to carve a gem out of a gem? Maybe they feel they have to make changes for the coming show. I guess they have their reasons.

This is dangerous for those battling gambling addiction. It's like putting a game that takes place in a bar with a feature that gives off the scent of whiskey in front of a struggling alcoholic. It can send them spiraling down into addiction. I'm a former addict, and I have to avoid games and movies that have heavy drug abuse, because I could easily end up back in another shooting gallery passing shit around with a bunch of other addicts. Committing burglaries and robberies for drug money. I was there in my late teens and early 20's. I don't want to go back. I'm doing good handling the cocaine gum in RDR2. But luckily for me, there are no drug houses in any of the towns. I know in the late 1800's they still existed, but the RDR2 world thankfully doesn't have any. It's a temptation that the addict and former addict has almost no willpower to fight. It takes either a scare so severe that non addicts can't fathom it, or help from people in their life to beat their addiction. And if they don't have either, the addiction usually wins.

It's not even an old game that's worth remaking to be honest, yet they gave it priority instead of other games..
