  1. Had they spent half of that cash to fund development of new IPs or their existing IPs like unreal, they'd have actually won loyal customers Instead of those who just go for the free games.

  2. It's a Nintendo console with Nintendo games. That's it for me. None of its other unique selling points (USP) like its portability, cartridge format, subscription bonuses and so forth really appealed to me while I had it. The area I live in is too unsafe to be carrying around a Switch, and it's not like I like Super Mario Odyssee enough to go a few hours without it to and from home, so it remained hooked up to the TV save for the few occassions I wanted the feeling of playing a handheld device. The JoyCons were OK for the little time I used them; not great, not terrible. Just about the only thing I felt was truly great was its rumble features, but indie devs didn't take advantage of it which made Fast RMX a much worse experience. I decided to stick with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe because I was spoilt for that rumble.

  3. No problem man - another suggestion I have is to look up some freelancing jobs that require little to no initial investment and you watch some YouTube videos and try to learn it at your own pace and go on some Sub-Reddits and offer the service.

  4. I liked DD Smash's single Whaling but I can't positively say I followed them up like that. I also liked Solo - very soulful song.

  5. Pretty wise to do this on the holidays. The best sales do tend to come around Christmas. That's totally acceptable if that's how you want to approach it.

  6. Totally relatable - I find that in most of those instance, I normally turn it down low enough to hear them clearly. On the other hand, when I'm playing alone, depending on the game, it may be cranked pretty high.

  7. I think your being WAY to forgiving. The Spartans in the actual Battle of Thermopylae wore a full bronze chestplate, not the bullshit nothing in the movie. Never trust Hollywood. I know where you're coming from. The Celts used to charge into battle wearing next to nothing to intimate the enemy but that is a rare exception. The reality is tactic doesn't really work. If your a soldier and you see your enemy running towards you with their "tits flapping around" then survival instinct will kick in over the distraction and you will kill them. I'd much rather have the confidence that what I'm wearing is offering at least some protection or camouflage over "Hey, look at these abs!"

  8. This kind of thing has been a peeve of mine for a while now. At the end of the day it's all about context, take this for example: Now obviously as a practical piece of armour this is beyond idiotic. Not only does it not protect anything but it puts all the weight on her shoulders and other joints which is where you want it the least if your swinging a sword. As a piece of art however, it looks really cool so if your game or movie is a fantasy that is not supposed to be realistic anyway I could accept it. But if you're making a historical epic and you've got Joan of Arc leading the charge at Orleans wearing something like that then it's fair to say I wouldn't be the only one flipping my shit! Now before anyone starts it's not just with women either: I've got no issue with sexy armour but just keep it where it belongs.

  9. I'm not a religious zealot or a 17 year old boy. So that's a no.

  10. Not really - I mean some of them are a bit over the top but I'm not that affected by it. I'm more concerned about the gameplay - the only way I'd have any real issue is if it was done to promote some kind of agenda.

  11. Triple Triad in FF8. I love building up an obscenely powerful deck and just decimating my opponents.

  12. I've said it before, and I'll say it again. This is NOT a remaster. This is a game that is finally being finished. I'm so looking forward to it though, the original Neir was a very good game just incomplete. It's rare to see projects like this given a second chance.
