The point I was making is about the terrible state of modern games when they get launched, they still need to undergo those same changes and modifications they should've worked on before the release date. So basically, they released an unfinished product and finish it after the launch through patches.

I can't game accurately with a M/K unless it's a proper gaming mouse with plenty of customisable button settings. I use a Logitech G502 Hero gaming mouse. This is a wired gaming mouse that has two mechanical resistance settings for it mouse wheel, adjustable DPI, customisable RGB settings (although this mouse isn't that flash, but I call that a plus point), 11 programmable buttons and a compartment underneath to add weights to customise the physical balance. One has to find and download the software to customise the button settings which is a little annoying, you would expect the instructions to at least give you a link or be able to download the software automatically, but once you have it, it's easy to use even for a monkey like me (Link here to save you or anyone else the trouble). I certainly won't claim to be an expert in gaming mice, but I like using this one. It's comfortable to hold, feels sturdy and the buttons are mostly easy to reach with little adjustment of the wrist at the most. I will say it's a little disappointing that you can only have five button profiles and I'd say that's not enough, especially if one plays a verity of games. I also can't seem to sync the RGB lighting with the in-built keyboard on this laptop, it appears that only works with a separate one. Overall, I'd recommend it, but don't take my word for it, other members might have other mice to recommend.

I'm having an issue with my mouse. The wheel has stopped working correctly. Instead of scrolling a page it now only controls volume. I've been all over it trying to figure out what the fuck is going on. It just happened out of nowhere and is severely pissing me off. I can still navigate by grabbing the bar at the side of the page, but the wheel isn't doing its job. What the hell do I need to do to fix this? I've tried all the F buttons, I tried the control panel, I tried the scroll lock, I tried restarting it, I've tried several button combinations, I've tried every god damn thing I can think of. This is going beyond pissing me off. HELP

Nevermind. I fixed it. I just had to unplug it from my computer and plug it back in. The same thing we needed to do with 2020.

I would say I learned to control my emotions better through gaming. As a kid, I would rage all the time. Sooner or later I realized that you cannot control the fact that others may be better than you at the game. All you can do is focus on improving your own skills and knowledge rather than get angry.

I always loved the bullet tracking feature in Sniper Elite, but when it happens too much, it just gets too boring

Aye, that’s indeed true. Managed to nab a PS5 at launch, personally. Didn’t quite realise how bad the scalping problem still is tbh.

I'd go for Microsoft right now. I think the Series X/S is going to be a late bloomer.

Any multilayer game is better with friends and it need not be hard to organise. Forums, social media and expecially Discord make both organising playing these types of game together and communicating with each other during the game fairly straight forward.

It seems we're giving either our self respect or integrity as collateral for the loans we keep taking out. they loan us fucked up games, if they even can be called that, and we lower our self respect and integrity just a little bit more by buying them. Pretty soon they will have all of it, and more people will be like me.

Bro you hit the nail on the head! Literally came to this thread to post this. When I rented this gem from Blockbuster for the first time I always checked it out then eventually bought a copy. I love this game so so much.

People would still shoot each other, but the politicians would have one less thing they could use as a scapegoat.
