  1. Well, that'S really the scummy part of digital distribution, you can't ever resell games. Which kind of sucks, and that's why I'd never buy a digital only ps5. Selling accounts is definitely against TOS, and will probably get the account banned if discovered, not to mention the huge security issue it presents. Both as a seller or a buyer.

  2. I'm just going to repeat something I said in this earlier thread, but suffice to say I would not recommend buying and selling accounts. Selling accounts is something different. That's not selling games, that's selling accounts and it is not something I'd recommend anyone do. As a Seller. It bars you from using the same details for any future accounts on that platform. You will need to give the buyer access to your e-mail, so that email account is also gone, so rather inconvenient if you use that e-mail for anything besides that game store account. it can also be dangerous as the person buying the account can use it for, let's say, "other purposes" than playing the games in your library. They could use the account to front money laundering or sell, let's say, "controversial" digital goods, all of which could get traced back to YOU in the end. They could possibly access you phone number, social media accounts and even bank details held on that account if you're not careful. As a Buyer You can't be sure how those games on that account were obtained. They could have been bought with stolen credit card information (fraud), the login info could be wrong or they could change it after you bought it, especially if they have things like 2-step verification enabled or even just use fake screenshots to con people into thinking they're buying an account that doesn't actually exist. Selling accounts is not illegal as far as I know, an even if it were it would be impossible to enforce, but it's not safe and It's certainly not a comparable substitute for selling used games on PC. I would beg anyone considering it not to do it.

  3. I got 17/20. The ones I missed were the orc and uruk-hai captains, and the name of one elf. Everything else was easy.

  5. This is a really great topic and thanks for sharing that article!!! I don't even know where to begin, cause in my gaming experience, taking photos is a big part of it. Especially AC Odyssey, where I first experimented with its photo mode. That is a very beautiful game. The article made good points how some photographers may even prefer this method. One problem I see happening as Resident Evil has done is that the game developers will add copyright stamp on every pic taken. I agree that we should respect the developers because they created the world, but the world is in a continuous real life imagined cycle with movement. And to capture something so specific in all that, to me should be respected as a photographic art. Very often I find myself setting up a shot the way I want it. It used to be a stop and click, stop and click. But with all the features coming out in the photo modes, now I use props and try to get the right reflection of the sun, and add leaves or butterflies like Ghost of Tsushima photo mode has. I wonder how that debate will play out on whether a copyright will be upheld or not. The lines get blurry even further if a photo was taken without much effort, just a random shot of the beach. Would that still be personal art, or the game's? I think if anything, the developers can get a cut off of any recognition or profit for using their photo tool, rather than from the scenery itself. I really don't know. I personally see video games itself as an art. Especially after playing the Layers of Fear series. Those games have changed the way I see video games now. Everything about it is art. And that game with especially its sequel would create even further controversy because each scene in the game is already a captured moment. It is already set up portraying an image it wants you to see and feel. It would be hard to create anything really specific in that game that isn't already there. But then again, games like that probably shouldn't offer a photo mode. Play your favorite game and do some photography, what's not to love? For me, my pics are a sort of journal in my adventure that I'll look back on sometime and remember the experiences playing those games. I have taken some pretty cool pics, but I'm a bit inspired to try and get some really amazing ones now.

  8. Growing up, I used to dislike most RPG games but they eventually grew on me and it's now probably one of my favorite genres of gaming. The opposite is true of racing and most fighting games - growing up I loved them but they've become so dull and boring to me I only bother with certain games.

  9. Exclusive to the epic game store, or consoles. The first one is out of principle. The second one is because I might have a ps, but I hate playing games on console due to the controller. So except for a very few select games I don't buy games for playstation. Multiplayer only games Games that have no proper single player campaign can F right off. The inclusion of current day political debates in the game No real world politics should ever be a central theme in a game, unless it is historical with no ambiguity around them. Games by Developers / creators who have a history of degrading / looking down on the gaming community Examples: Patrick Soderlund, Adrian Chimleraz, Cliff Blezinsky...

  10. I don't think anyone really has a right to decide whether or not video game VA's are paid enough or not unless they have actually done that sort of work themselves. I will say this, though. Do you think VA's in video games are paid enough to compare with their colleagues in Hollywood doing voice overs for animated movies even though video games typically require far more recorded dialogue? I can tell you that based on interviews and exposés published on the subject that they most definitely don't.

  11. I always wanted to play through ME3 as Miranda, she is on a mission of her own through the whole game and we hear next to nothing about it. It would've been a great DLC opportunity for the game to play through her exploits. The Alien in Alien Isolation, but not during the events of the game, but before that during the initial slaughter of the inhabitants.

  13. I started out playing everything. I remember having Playstations, Nintendo consoles, and a couple computers. Although I love playing on multiple platforms, as I got older I found I had less time and money to keep everything, Nowadays I mostly play PC games but I am always down to play console games when I get the chance.
