  1. It seems that the creation engine can only load in one area at a time. Probably because loading in the entire open world with every interior and exterior location would take up far to much memory or might just a limitation of the engine itself. So anytime you're indoors or even in a town it's a different data package to the rest of the open world. So if you for example are playing Skyrim and you go through the doors of Solitude the game wipes the exterior world from memory and loads in Solitude in it's place. Then if you go into the Winking Skeever it wipes Solitude from the memory and loads the internal of the Winking Skeever in its place. There are some engine's (like Ubisoft's Anvil; Assassin's Creed) that can load internal and external areas at once hence you can look outside through a window or an open door but Bethesda's dated software just doesn't seem to work that way. I've said it time and time again that Bethesda need something new. Since Microsoft bought them they could probably use 343's much newer Slipspace, but they seem to stubbornly sticking with what they've got.

If you have kids around and if they like 3D games like new nintendo style then maybe this game is something they would love to play. Not meant for most of us as it's super niche in it's type of crowd it wants to play.

  3. The Ruler Designer DLC for Crusader Kings 2, it just makes the game so much more fun if you can create yourself in the game and see how big your dynasty can grow.

  4. I'm a dead-eye myself. I have lit a match with an open sight .22 from 60' away. It took a half hour of aiming and countering the wind, but I was able to do it on the first shot. I also killed a squirrel that was in its nest from over 100 yards away with the same rifle in one shot. All of this was when I was a kid (I think around 17) and still a hunter. I don't hunt anymore for several reasons. My guns are all for self defense, home protection, and hobby target shooting.

  5. Whilst I think @Crazycrab is at least partially right, the Creation engine can be made programmed to do more than that. In Morrowind, the cities were naturally a part of the open world, so you could go in and out of them without loading screens, but granted that is a much older game. Skyrim can also do the same thing thing with the help of The Open Cities Mod, but could obviously be troublesome if the hardware isn't up to snuff. So I do think that Bethesda do this to help the game run smoother of this aging engine and of the kind of hardware that was around at the time of launch, but it may still be more capable than even Bethesda think.

  7. To play smooth if it's an multiplayer game, if it is a single player game to not be boring. Other than that graphics can be bad, but the game still can be fun, sound can be bad but the game still can be great, but if it's lagging or too boring it's gonna be trash.

  8. I like a mix, a bit of commentary is good but being to quirky and too loud just makes me go watch another video.

  9. Hmmm never had one, the only one is if it's boring give it another shot, and if it's boring again delete uninstall goodbye. But generally I don't have rules, as it is just fun to play without rules.

  10. Having free time and my friends having free time so we can all play together, that's the most painful thing ever.

  11. Immorality. ๐Ÿ˜Š No matter how many times you die, you get reincarnated every time. I wish I could do that in real life too, so that I can pause myself before dying and then restart from where I had left. It would be fun really.๐Ÿ˜†

Looks like a solid 2D platformer. The art looks really good too. The โ€œsecret areas everywhereโ€ thing is a bit off-putting, though. Like, am I just gonna have to rub up against every wall and ceiling in the game to determine which are fake? Because the secret areas didnโ€™t appear to have any sort of discoloration or other indication that they were false walls.

  13. The big problem, like in most things, is the easy money access without any big punishment. Like a lot of games taking money for an undone product is the same as players being traded/bought at a young age in basketball. You can't know if it's gonna be good but you take the quick money and don't care. The only projects that I know that turned it around are Rust and No Mans Sky. Other than that I do not know any game that did good after it was trash/unfinished.

  14. I miss every game coming with instruction manuals. Whenever I get a new game I like to read through the instruction manual and look at the pictures and any background info on the characters/story that's in there. A lot of games still have them, but a lot of games also don't ๐Ÿ˜ž

  15. Not necessarily. I'm a really big fan of roleplaying in games, so If a game has many different paths that you can take depending on your choices, and also depending on the complexity of the system, I will often play through a game multiple times trying to roleplay as a different kind of person. Like, once be a pure hero, another time be a pure villain, other times be more neutral, and variations of those.

  16. Lol. ๐Ÿ˜† The main beauty of those live streams is when those gamers take ethical and unexpected selection, and then blend it with funny yet sarcastic dialogues. That is something engages me for those funny live streams.

  17. And that's the same reason, why I like to watch live streams. Sometimes making ethical decisions in games makes it more interesting to watch. If you would be taking that same decision, then watching that same will make you bore. Better you should play yourself then. ๐Ÿ˜„

  20. There is a far amount mof numbers of games that I do watch on twitch that I do not own myself that I always find that I like watching rather then owning the game and or playing it. I'm like, why pay for a game to play when you can seat back on twitch and watch someone play it for you ๐Ÿ˜› and you save $50 for that game ๐Ÿ˜› then see them fail or whatnot and you are just happy ๐Ÿ˜›

  21. The most important thing is player engagement. How can you engage the player? how can you keep them engaged? how can you make sure your game can catch a players attention and make them want to keep playing and get their friends to play too? If the game can manage to engage and entertain the player it will be successful for a long time. There are many ways to engage the player like interesting and high quality art, unique and diverse sound effects, or original and creative game-play mechanics.

  22. I wish I could see when I first played each game, and how much I've played them. Sadly the playtime is only kept for more modern games.
