Sometimes, I would be wondering what their so called game testers are actually testing before the game is vetted and released?1 point
-
I would be looking forward to it and hopefully get some screen shots of your first game on it.1 point

You're right, they should always find a way to keep it safe, and not make it annoying. Because when it turns out, annoying and blocking my view I wouldn't spare it.1 point

Good luck my friend with your purchase quest of either the PC or PS4. They are both good game hardware.1 point

If they make it very much complicated that it interrupts my gaming I wouldn't ON it, I'll just switch it off, due to the act of blocking the screen for me.1 point

Laughs 😅😅. I won't be going for PS4 I believe I've told you this earlier. I am going for windows PC, due to the ability it has, to execute many tasks for me online and offline. I'll get it before Saturday this week, which is on 13th of November. My funds is almost complete for it.1 point

You're very welcome my friend. It's not a big deal to share an information and make corrections where and when necessary.1 point

This is one of the dark sides to the existence of cryptocurrencies and there is nothing that can be done to change unless what the government of most countries are at now with the ban on cryptocurrencies with introducing their own coins.1 point

It's always a waste of game when it's rushed because it's going to take away from you all the side things you are supposed to do.1 point

The way independence FM was done in GTA was great, outside of that I never listen to external music during gaming as it interferes with the narrative.1 point
-
It usually depends on the music. In most games the soundtrack is just there to set the tone and keep you immersed and in the mindset of what you are doing. Most songs during battle are naturally blocked out. But if I was doing games that are little boring ot needs a punch, ETS or just any trucking to driving game or even flying on long flights in MSFS2020 then I put music on, From Chrome or spotify1 point

Categories could be added by wrong set of the gamers in the wiki or google. But witcher and far cry are not at all Horror in any way. witcher could be fantasy medieval but horror? no.1 point

Moments in games where a lack of soundtracking is impactful
Crazycrab reacted to StaceyPowers for a topic
I love how you explained it with Joel and Ellie--that's another great interpretation. And it connects well with the Buffy example.1 point -
Do you identify as a “gamer?”
StaceyPowers reacted to The Blackangel for a topic
Negative. I am a meat popsicle.1 point -
Do you have an idea for a type of game that has never been made?
StaceyPowers reacted to The Blackangel for a topic
I would like to figure out a way to come up with a game where every tiny little detail, almost down to which blades of grass you’re standing on, alter the flow and outcome of the game. Something where no matter how many times you play it, it is literally 100% impossible to play the same game twice. But something that big and that random, would be next to impossible. Even the landscape between plays would be different.1 point -
What makes for a good or bad minimap?
Withywarlock reacted to The Blackangel for a topic
Bad minimaps make things look further away than they are, or closer than they are. Which in turn makes it difficult to gauge your time needed to get to your intended location, and the obstacles you will encounter on the way. Enemies and dangerous animals for example. I can’t count the number of times I’ve been ambushed by enemy gangs and wannabe road bandits as well as fucking cougars in RDR2.1 point -
Snowrunner honestly, it's one of the few simulators that's so addictive!1 point

Games that incorporate creating art as the player

Arts is about creativity and in being creative, you get to put something into a new shape that offers aesthetic phenomenal quality.1 point -
When the companion or AI that I'm going to have come with along my quest would add some flair to my mission, why wouldn't I have them?1 point

24 million subscribers, that's incredibly unbelievable. Do you know the amount of money they are making from the channel?1 point

When the sounds are too loud, it keeps interfering with the talks that goes on in game. I don't know how some people play with such high sound.1 point

If you come from a family of long gamers, you're definitely going to know more about these old consoles that most new generation gamers aren't privileged.1 point

Game Publishers want you to pre-order because; The buyers don't get to see reviews before buying, so the company in question gets the money before the buyer even knows if it will be worth it. The publisher get's money, and give the person back absolutely nothing. They only get a "promise" that they'll get a game. I's the ultimate transaction to favour a cooperation. It forces players to pay full price. That suits the publisher better than people buying a game at a reduced price father down the road. It looks good to shareholders and investors when a publisher says "Look how much money we've made before we have even put out any kind of product." Scammers want ALL the money, they wanted all the money YESTERDAY and they want to give you NOTHING for it, and that's essentially what a pre-order is. As aforementioned, you given them money, and they give you absolutely nothing in return except a "promise". So calling it a "scam" is not that far from the truth. It's not like they're gonna run out of stock for the game, especially with digital distribution, so pre-ordering to secure your copy of the game is just not a reason to pre-order anymore. The only reason I would pre-order a game now is if there was a lot of games I was interested in releasing at roughly the same time. I would consider pre-ordering a couple of them to "spread the cost" as it were, but that's only time I would do it. I certainly don't trust game companies even slightly any more. I was burned by Destiny and No Man's Sky, and after that, I was done with that shit.1 point
