  1. It's never as well publicised, but a lot of shady shit happens within the indie game scene. Asset flipping, crowdfunding scams, prejudice (like denying game keys to people because the support pride on social media), suing over bad reviews, DMCA abuse against YouTubers who call them out, it's all happened before. The Sentinels of the Store and YouTubers like SidAlpha sadly have plenty of to talk about and are kept busy by indies for, unfortunately, very good reasons.

  3. And RE6 had a guy turning into a dinosaur at one point.. This part was completely off from what they were doing because it never followed their protocol. Capcom, are you guys crazy over there? 🤔.... That needs to be forwarded to their support email.

  4. As others have said, I tend to listen to something while I play a video game. The original DOOM soundtrack got me through Doom (2016). Most games with a Jeremy Soule soundtrack wouldn't be the same without his composing. Stewart Copeland is one of the first musicians that made me appreciate video game music with Spyro the Dragon. Mostly I just watch (or rather listen to) videos in the background. I'm currently listening to Critical Role, which features voice actors of video games among other things playing Dungeons & Dragons.

  5. If it isn't EA making the news for dumb things they do, it's Activision, Blizzard, Take-Two, Rockstar, Ubisoft or some other big corporate run gaming company that just keeps making horrible mistake after mistake. Games are released broken, full of microtransactions, and deceptive practices, and yet we still support a lot of them. Half the games these big time studios makes, are bugged messes, yet indie developers seem to do much better work with their games, at least in terms of optimization. Anyway, what I'm saying is this, do you think that Indie games will be the way to go for gamers? Or will these big companies start to shape up and start to fix their errors? I'm starting to think no, because it seems companies I once respected, like Take-Two/Rockstar, have become nothing but greedy. I know I'm probably a broken record at this point, but it really says something if some of the biggest gaming companies out there, are destroying their own reputation with each mistake they make. At this point, I kinda want to just focus on the indie titles, because supporting the majority of the big companies isn't helping anymore.

  6. I can enjoy games without music, in fact in many games I turn off background music because it annoys me. Music existed long before videogames, from the dawn of man, it is not something that can be uninvented. You tap your fingers on a desk and it creates a kind of tune, so it is literally impossible to imagine a world without music.

  7. Here is one review of the game Escape from Tarkov. Although, it's not from WatchMojo, but it's worth watching.

  8. I've mentioned my backlog in a couple of other threads, but for those that are interested.. I've actually documented my PS3/PS4/PS5/Vita backlog. https://forum.psnprofiles.com/topic/78101-ixanons-lists-of-completions-platinums-unattainables-and-epic-backloggery/ It's somewhat embarrassing.. but I can't resist a good bargain! 😆

  9. That said, this gameplay doesn't really fit the Path of Exile's speed meta, so players end up choosing either, but not both. ... It's easy to see that, despite its problems, Path of Exile will still worth playing in 2021, maybe 2022, too

  10. They are simply just going round in circles with what they have been doing so and they are being well encouraged to keep doing that as gamers keep buying into the games. Why would they stop?

  11. There were over 1000 bugs/glitches in Fallout 76. It was a horrible experience for most gamers.

  12. That's what Assassin's Creed does a lot. They usually throw a little message before each of their games, saying something about how their team is a diverse one with many different religions. And I think they mention about the game being inspired by true events or something. I forget, haven't played an AC game since Syndicate lol. True, you either go full force and tell the true story, or you go in a different direction and create upon the real story. For me, I think it depends on the story of the game, the idea and the characters. Sometimes I like 100% accuracy, but then I also don't mind when some games go a little overboard with the creativity and change the story up. I suppose you could say it's pretty much about preference.

  13. Tetris. There is nothing in it. Just blocks falling from the top of the screen. There is literally nothing there.

  14. Those crimes are simply too weird, it wouldn't be allowed to happen real life. Because peoples life will be in real danger due to one man terrorising the entire city. And the main character in the game wouldn't last past 20 minutes and he'll be brought down by military.
