  1. So now Square Enix wants to support nfts. Ubisoft is doing it and some other studios are doing it too. I hate the idea of nfts being in games, because it just feels greedy to me. I hope other studios ignore nfts and don't support them, but I feel like it's going to happen with all studios eventually. 😞

  2. Alright, you should do that my friend and I hope that they have their delivery services available for you to get your new gaming chair.

    Have you ever been banned?

Yeah, that Club Penguin account that got banned had some really cool stuff unfortunately. It had some awesome items that you could only get at certain times as well so I lost a lot when I had to create a new account. Learned a valuable lesson there lol

  4. Correct. They need no one to tell them again to stand, because they are used to it. I didn't go into military because I don't want to find myself doing things I never liked.

  5. For one he doesn't understand the idea of "playing for fun" and views it with contempt. He thinks that people should play for profits, so he wants gamers to be like wow gold farmers. Then he thinks modding is bad because there are no financial incentives involved. Never mind that bethesda has been obliterated when they tried to implement a pay for mods system. Modding is great because modders make things they think would be nice to have in games, not things they think they can make a quick buck off of.

  6. This is disgusting. These studios just keep finding ways to be more greedy. Aren't microtransactions enough? Loot boxes? Now we are adding nfts to games because monies? It's like these companies don't understand how awful they look to the gamers and the community. It's quite sad.

  7. I thought the exact same thing. He basically said that gaming is becoming more decentralized to give incentive for people to spend money to make the gaming environment run itself. I don’t know what part of that makes the least sense or maybe I interpreted the villainous wording wrong. Too many hints there and not one direct explanation.

  8. That's the kind of gaming setup I'd like to have made one day. It puts all of the consoles front and center and there is space for games elsewhere. I could only imagine the cost to build something like that.

  9. Also, I wish those games that do have these important items, they should warn you before you attempt to sell them. I know some games do, but not all of them do. So if you're like me and don't read everything that needs to be read, then you may sell important things by mistake.

  10. If you read the whole brainfart you realize this is basically his evil manifesto. It is so bad on so many levels besides NFTs that only an international supervillain could've come up with it.

  11. Lucid dreams sometimes feels like creating delusion in our own mind. Kind of like masturbation. Imagine some porn actress is there with you flying in astral plan having secks with you. No thanks. That's a lot of delusion and it's like making you dumb each time you try it. As much as I like spirituality, lucid dreaming is mental masturbation. I doubt game could give that feeling in VR. I strongly doubt it.

  12. Before I got really good at playing racing video games, I was called crash master by my friends because I would keep crashing like my life depends on it.

  13. Seriously, auto saves is a pain in the ass big time because it keeps messing up with gameplay saves when you don't need it.

  14. I don't like that at the end of NASCAR Dirt to Daytona career mode, all that you get is a still shot of two Ford Tauruses crashing into each other. I won 1,084 races for that? Seriously, I expect more. Give me a music video like at the end of Test Drive 5. Give me a congratulatory message from two racing commentators. Or even give me a race or two in a special mode like at the end of GT1, just give me more than an illustration of two Tauruses crashing.

  16. I get that. I got rid of my ps1 years ago but got one from a cousin recently. I never plan to get rid of my ps2. But I wouldn't kind getting a ps3 just so I can have one.

  17. Another thing that bugs me in video games, is when games don't have a manual save option. Or a save option that you can only get in certain areas. Give me a manual save for all of my games, so that I can save anywhere I want. I've had too many problems in the past with auto saves not working, so I've gotten into the habit of manually saving each time I think it's needed. Because you can never 100% trust the auto save features these days.

    Last Game Played

I decided to give RDR-2 a shot after some months unplayed, due to activities with EA FIFA 22.

  19. Seriously, some tragic events in your favorite video games can hit you so hard that you hit rock bottom that's going to be very difficult to get out from.

  22. You ever been glued to a game, spending hours of your time playing it? I did, I played a game for seven hours straight, I was going to beat it and the ending was trash, it wasn't even finished if you'd ask me. I still don't trust most games after that.

  24. The first time I played RDR2, when Arthur died, afterwards I went for about 4 months or so where I just couldn't play any video game. I was too broken hearted. But I ended up missing him so much that I had to start playing it again.

  25. I just hope in 2022 they reduce their exobitant demands to favour the average gamers. It wouldn't make sense that gaming climbs above the reach of an average gamer.

  26. Arthur Morgan in RDR2. Hosea and Lenny made me cry, but when Arthur died, I bawled like a baby. I'm by no means in love with him, but I love him like crazy just the same. He brought me into a family I never had before. And losing him like that was a crushing blow.
