  1. Tried to launch the game at 1080p, and it crashed immediately. I had to run the game at a higher resolution to then have the GeForce app override the in game setting to bring it back to 1080p. That's already ridiculous. Next, when I got into the game, one starts off in a cell as a prisoner. I quickly noticed the UI was displaying the console controls instead of M/K as I knocked down a wall into another cell (something you apparently have to do). So I opened the menu, into the setting to see if this could be changed, when I was attacked by a guard whilst doing so. My heart then sank as then I knew what kind of game this was. A "From Software" clone trying to be Dark Souls in every aspect including this ridiculous idea that game doesn't pause. I'm going to uninstall Nioh and never play it again. I'm not gonna turn this into a massively long rant about how god damb stupid it is to programme a game this way because it's obvious why. Pausing is a basic, quality of life feature that games need, end of story. Omitting the pause feature doesn't make a game more challenging, only more fussy and arrogant, like "How dare you go into the menu and expect me to stop for your convivence!". So f*** Nioh, f*** Dark Souls, f***Demon Souls, f*** Bloodborne and ever other game with this pointless, regressive and utterly stupid feature.

  2. I have 122 DDL's on my Switch. A lot of them I either haven't gotten around to playing for one reason or another, or haven't fully explored. I'm going to list them, and anyone who has played any of the games, I want to get your honest opinions. I'm not going to say which ones I have played, or how much I have played it, because I want this to be as unbiased on my part, as I believe that will illicit more honest opinions on the parts of those responding. All the games are listed in alphabetical order to make it easier to search. I also have 23 games on cartridges, but those I'm going to leave off for now. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ A Knight's Quest Active Neurons 2 Agony Akane Aldred Knight American Fugitive Amnesia: Collection Among The Sleep - Enhanced Edition Anodyne Aqua Lungers Ascendance Assassin's Creed The Rebel Collection (AC Black Flag, AC Rogue) Astro Bears ATV Drift & Tricks Beholder Blasphemous Bleed Complete Bundle (Bleed, Bleed 2) Blood Breed Bloodstained: Curse Of The Moon 1,2 Boomerang Fu Bouncy Bob Call Of Juarez: Gunslinger Caretaker Castle Of Heart Child Of Light Ultimate Edition Classic Games Collection Volume 1 Conarium Cosmic Star Heroine Creaks Creepy Tale Cuphead Curse Of The Dead Gods Cyber Complex Defunct Degrees Of Separation Deponia Dex Ding Dong XL Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen Drawngeon: Dungeons Of Ink And Paper Dungeon Nightmares 1+2 Collection Earthworms Elemental Knights R Endless Fables: Dark Moor Endless Fables: Shadow Within Escape Game Fort Boyard Evil Inside Eyes: The Horror Game Fight Crab Flashback Fobia FutureGrind Galaxy Warfighter Goblin Sword Gone Home Grimvalor Hades Half Dead Hand Of Fate 2 Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice Him & Her Hollow Indygo Infernium Infini Infliction Jumping Joe & Friends Layers Of Fear: Legacy Limbo Lydia Make A Killing MIND Path To Thalamus Moto Rush GT NecroWorm Not Not - A Brain Buster Outlast 1,2 Overlanders Paratopic Poly Puzzle Postal REDUX Projection R-Type Dimensions EX Redneck Skeet Shooting Remnants Of Naezith Remothered: Broken Porcelain Revenge Of The Bird King REZ PLZ Riddled Corpses EX Ruiner Seeders Puzzle Reboot Shalnor Legends: Sacred Lands Singled Out Skull Rogue Slender: The Arrival Snake Pass Sniper Snowboarding The Next Phase Soul Searching Stardew Valley Submerged Suicide Guy Syberia 1,2 Sydney Hunter And The Curse Of The Mayan The Child's Sight The Great Perhaps The Longing The Room The Way Remastered Thief Simulator Tonight We Riot Trancelation UBERMOSH:SANTICIDE Unravel Two Vampire's Fall: Origins Vigil: The Longest Night Warlocks 2: God Slayers Wunderling

  3. I was worried about the turn based gameplay similar to xcom. So I just put off playing it. I liked the stick of truth, but I got bored of it after a while. I hope this next one is more about action and adventure, or just a platformer. Not into the rpg aspect of it.

  4. Agree to disagree. I don't see it the same way. I think if done right, with the right touch and respect to the original, it wouldn't be a disservice. If they added microtransactions, changed the story or whatever else, I'd understand. But we have remakes of other Zelda games, other classics, and they from what I see, are faithful remakes with prettier graphics. As well, no one is telling you that you have to play a remake if one is made. And you have every right to be against that. I'm sure many other fans would oppose it as well. The gaming community is a divided one.

  6. The Fractured Butthole sucked. I wasn't a fan of Stick Of Truth, but Fractured Butthole was worthless. I recommend not wasting your money on it.

  7. I brought out one of my SEGA cartridge for my 4 year old cousin yesterday and he was like Uncle what's that? They are very far from what we played in the past and it's only few of them the ask questions towards it.

  8. I'm not saying that remakes should never be done. I have no problem with a remake. But there are some games that to remake them would just be obscene. The original Zelda is one of them. I would be really interested in a remaster/remake of Zelda II, or A Link To The Past. But not the original. One of my all time favorite games is Blaster Master on the NES. I would be really curious to see how a remaster/remake of that one would turn out, as long as it was the same game. There are just some games that are, (for lack of a better term) sacred. In my eyes, it would be like trying to remake the Mona Lisa. As such, they are games that are not to be messed with. Played in the original setting, but not screwed with. You just need to know where the line is and remember not to cross it. Besides, I don't think anyone wants another FF7 occurrence. Or worse.
