Here is the British Academy Games Awards in 2013, hosted by Dara Ô Briain in London.

I found the game pretty funny and kind of depicts how life is sometimes.. Check out the trailer.

I don't know of many hospital or doctor games, but I know of surgeon Sim and that hospital building Sim. What are some good games worth checking out in the genre that are actually fun?

Tried to launch the game at 1080p, and it crashed immediately. I had to run the game at a higher resolution to then have the GeForce app override the in game setting to bring it back to 1080p. That's already ridiculous. Next, when I got into the game, one starts off in a cell as a prisoner. I quickly noticed the UI was displaying the console controls instead of M/K as I knocked down a wall into another cell (something you apparently have to do). So I opened the menu, into the setting to see if this could be changed, when I was attacked by a guard whilst doing so. My heart then sank as then I knew what kind of game this was. A "From Software" clone trying to be Dark Souls in every aspect including this ridiculous idea that game doesn't pause. I'm going to uninstall Nioh and never play it again. I'm not gonna turn this into a massively long rant about how god damb stupid it is to programme a game this way because it's obvious why. Pausing is a basic, quality of life feature that games need, end of story. Omitting the pause feature doesn't make a game more challenging, only more fussy and arrogant, like "How dare you go into the menu and expect me to stop for your convivence!". So f*** Nioh, f*** Dark Souls, f***Demon Souls, f*** Bloodborne and ever other game with this pointless, regressive and utterly stupid feature.

I'm not sure what @Justin11 is referencing. I haven't written any game reviews. But I do sing the praises of TLOU and its sequel pretty often, so perhaps that is it 🙂

I don't see how it's a good thing, I'd actually prefer there to be a gap between the two so I can focus on one at a time and not have such a big hole burned in my pocket all at once.

Two Point Hospital is a good one. A spiritual successor to Bullfrog's classic Theme Hospital. It's a management game with good humour and a comical art style, surprisingly challenging as well.

Well, I have to answer this with a couple questions. 1) The first Mega Man game I ever played was Mega Man 3. Considering its age, does that count since I did play MM1 and MM2 later on? 2) Do games you haven't played in years count if you play more recent releases in the franchise? For example, I'm on another run through on Zelda Link To The Past, but haven't played either of the first two in years. Also I have been playing Castlevania Lords Of Shadown on PS3, but haven't played the originals on NES in so long, that I honestly can't remember the last time I played them. If I popped them in today, would that count?

I've noticed that as well. Fights tend to break out, not over who plays next, or who lost, but over who plays what game. For example when I was a kid, I was a Mortal Kombat fan, and a neighbor was a Killer Instinct fan. I had to put up with constant harassment from them about it. Yet there was no noticeable issue when the discussion went to Street Fighter 2. There was another kid I knew who was a PlayStation fanboy, whereas I was a Nintendo girl. The same thing there. If everyone would just accept the fact that there are different opinions and interests, instead of believing that theirs is the only correct one, we would all get along better. Or stop caring so much what anyone else thinks of our opinions. I don't give two shits what anyone thinks of my opinion. A couple may agree or even like it (unlikely), but the majority will hate it and think I'm a fucking idiot. But it doesn't mean shit to me. So have your opinion, but expect differing opinions. Differing views make for entertaining and educating chat. For those unaware, that is a GOOD thing.

It seems that Horizon Forbidden West will be out 1 week before Elden Ring. February 18 for Horizon and February 25 for Elden Ring.

Seconded. Every gamer has different desires with games, and different viewpoints. I wasn't happy when Links Awakening was remade, but I was curious. I got it, and while it has much more attractive graphics, the changes that were made and added just ruined the game for me. So I still vastly prefer it on Game Boy.

That's very much understandable, since I never get to used the PC before, it will simply take some time for me to master how everything works with the PC. It will be a gradual process for me, I'll definitely learn with time.

Evening everyone. I always hate Mondays but today wasn't as bad. The good thing is that we're already at the end of the day so we're one day closer to the weekend. I really should be getting ready for some Uni exams too but that might have to be delayed for a few more days whilst I just relax.

Game development budgets have gotten so bloated just like Hollywood films. To get funding from certain 'entities', they need to push a certain agenda. A minor example of this is, $200 million movies that have the Pentagon/U.S. military approve the script before filming their armaments. Imagine 1997's Starship Troopers trying to get funding in this post 9/11 era.

That's the sad and frightening thing.

That's a welcomed advice, since then I never played again. I rested completely today from video games. But I didn't rest completely from chatting here. My illness isn't bad like before, gradually I'm regaining.

Spider-Man: No Way Home - 9/10

Most of the games I've been playing since the year started for me around gaming are mostly racing games, some of it's missions are endless, just like we have in soccer.

The way I see it, is that you can’t pick and choose what life you want to be moral about. Those who want to ban abortions also has the tendency to not respect the environment and not respect health protocols during a pandemic in the country where I’m at. A person simply cannot be pro-life for a fetus/embryo and not for every other aspect of pro-life. I understand why they want to ban abortions, because every fetus/embryo has the potential to become a human. The fetus/embryo has the ‘potential’ for the higher consciousness that humans possess. Does that consciousness grant us the right to determine the population of wild animals? Decide what animals to take off an endangered list or reduce it’s population because they are a burden to us? What about the parent’s situation that may actually cause harm to the child if its born? Would it be morally right to raise the child in a broken home or toxic environment which could give them a lifetime of pain and suffering? In this case of whether determining the morality of abortion, does the ‘potential' of a fetus/embryo outweigh the ‘reality’ of a dangerous living environment? An abortion should be a choice. Would you eat eggs that has the possibility of being fertilized if hens and roosters all grazed together in a natural habitat? Would you give your dog an abortion if you couldn’t handle an unwanted litter? Would you force a person raped to have a child? Would you let the law determine a person’s risk of life if they were to have labor? Is a fetus/embryo more important than an animal hunted for sport? Pro life should equal all life. So banning abortions isn’t a morality issue when those that want to ban it are far from being pro life. If vegetarians and environmentalists and human rights activists wanted to ban abortions, then I would say that makes more sense than those currently claiming pro life. The abortion itself should be up to the parents depending on their living situation and health. If parents have the right to spank their children or discipline them how they want and make their health decisions, then they also should have the right to decide whether or not to bring one into the world. And I don’t hear anyone complain about China’s one child law. And to even consider imprisoning an innocent mother for aborting a fetus/embryo is completely insane. You might as well start burying females alive for losing their virginity like Romans did to the vestal virgins, or imprison them and starve them to death. This is why church and state should be separated and abortions is clearly a religious issue. And the same people who want to ban abortions, in my country, are gun rights activists and stand your ground activists. And these politicians that are against abortions love the death penalty and even recently made the firing squad legal in some states in the USA. The hypocrisy runs deep when it comes to abortions. And I simply can’t stress the point enough that if a fetus/embryo has the right to life, then all other animals have the right to life. Point in conclusion is that banning abortions is a religious issue getting mixed up in government. And if you bring the issue to the seat of lawmaking, then you MUST protect all animal rights/environmental rights/and human rights. So banning abortions is complete hypocrisy to those who claim pro life. That is the truth of it that even God would agree. Those who do actually respect all life and support leaders who respect all life, then I respect you. If a leader wanted to ban abortions with the exception of rape and health issues; as well as protect animals, human rights, and the environment, then I would reconsider my opinion on banning abortions. Until then, it is a religious hypocritical doctrine inside the government.

The third tenet of The Satanic Temple says One's body is inviolable, subject to one's own will alone. I wasn't going to get involved with this discussion initially, but decided I had to. From a woman's standpoint, it's no one's business what I choose to do with my body. If I want a tattoo or piercing, that isn't your business. If I choose pads over tampons, that is none of your business. If I choose an abortion over carrying a child, that is none of your business. No one has the right or privilege to tell me what I can and cannot do with my own body. The only time someone has that option is when they are the parent of a young child. Other than that, you have the right to your opinion. If you feel that it's wrong, fine. If you have no problem with it, fine. But mind your own damn business. You don't want to make it mine.

Honestly, I don't think either side is fully correct, we don't really know when life begins, we can only guess based n what we know, are braindead people more alive than fetuses? Are they both in a state in-between life and death? Problem is: Nature is far too complicated for us to really decide where life begins. I don't like taking away people's rights, but I don't like the idea of deciding someone's else's fate either. Life is far too complex for us to really understand, and another problem I have is: Who decides what is life? Is it more personnel than scientific? Who decided what? Who gets to deciare life, the in-between, and death?

It's kinda difficult for anyone to attack you before you have even stated how you feel on it. None the less, you are right. Let's keep it civil, everyone. On topic and for me it's very simple. Nobody has the right to tell a woman what she can and cannot do with her own body and women should have the right to do what is in the best interest for he physical and mental well being. It's in the best interests of everyone involved if, buy the would be parent(s) own admission, that they are not in a favourable situation to have a child at that time. If you are in that situation and are having sex, use contraception, you should never be in a situation where an abortion is something to consider, but things happen, so that option should be there. My biggest problem with the anti-abortion (and it is that, the "pro-life" tag is bullshit) ideology is that none of thier arguments really make sense. A fetus doesn't have feelings, senses and certainly not thought or anything resembling sentient behaviour until months into the pregnancy possibly after birth depending on what specifics you wanna bring up. These idiots hide behind the Bible in much the same way a lot of homophobes do, but that is a valid excuse for nothing. You want religious beliefs to dictate your actions, then fine, nobody's holding that against you, but that does not give you the the right to decide the fate of other people. The worst part is there sheer refusal to comprise on this. Irresponsible people who just didn't bother to use protection ( another thing religion seems to have a problem with) is one thing, but why deny this to rape victims? Why deny it to woman who, for one reason or another, pregnancy and/or childbirth would be particularly dangerous from a medical standpoint? No, they have to go through it all because God said so. It's bullshit.

I'm 100% pro choice. It's not right for me or anybody else to tell someone that they have to follow through with a pregnancy if they don't want to. To be frank it's pretty disgusting that there are people that genuinely believe that they have the right to deny somone that choice. Even in the case of sexual assault or a medical complication like an ectopic pregnancy which would not only kill the fetus anyway but could kill the would have been mother as well. Outside of medical intervention, the only person that should decide whether an abortion is the right course of action or not is the one that's pregnant. End of story.

Just a couple of days ago, I hit 50,000 miles raced just at Rome in GT6. I would have reached the mark sooner, but my first PS3 lost the file after 99% game completion.
