  1. I encountered two very bizarre and comical situations this morning. I would like the community's input on which is more outrageous. 1. I went to Walgreens (pharmacy/convenience store chain in the US) and the woman in front of me was checking out two items: retinol cream and a pack of Marlboro cigarettes'. 2. I then went to my favorite hiking spot. As I got out my car to walk to the trailhead, I saw a man (who had obviously just finished the hike) light up a cigarette. I wonder if these two are married. Anyways, I found both scenarios equally funny and outrageous. Vote!

  2. The irony could also be selling tobacco and alcohol at a pharmacy. I always thought of that as ironic that aren't part of a grocery store. At that point they are no longer a pharmacy, but a corner store.

  3. The point that he is trying to make is that its an ironic situation. Smoking is bad for you, the woman is buying retinol to hide the effects of smoking on her face, but she can just stop smoking and that way she wouldnt need to be buying retinol. The second scenario is that they guy just ended his hike which is good for your health and stamina but at the end he stops for a smoke which is bad for health and stamina. So the point here is how ironic it is that these two people are trying to take care of their health but at the same time they are smoking which is bad for your health

  5. I feel like it's mostly for games that have been around a while. I think they do it because activity is dwindling, so they release it free to play. This will entice people to play again and will probably bring in new gamers who didn't want to pay the base price to get into it.

  7. Yeah its not a rare sight, but isnt it counterproductive that he is going on a hike to better his health and the end of it he stops for a smoke? I mean its ironic , its like eating the whole dollar menu at mcdonalds but only having a diet coke.

  8. Very well the first one is true, assuming that the retinol and the cigarettes are related in this context is wrong on my part. Actually I told my wife about this and she pointed out the same thing. But on the second scenario DC did pointed out that the guy had obviusly ended his hike, meaning he was probably wearing sport clothing or he was probably sweating and his clothes were noticeably wet. So why go on a hike and then have a smoke?

  9. Both Call of Duty and Battlefield (not listed but should be) need a massive reset. The latest releases for both franchises just haven't hit the mark especially Battlefield which was a mess at launch and still is. Battlefield used to be such a great series that it's sad to see what's happened to it. I really do hope this current mess is sorted out before the next title is released

  10. So I'm told. @Rain Dew wants me to try to do some stand up, but I always choke when I'm put on the spot, and my memory sucks so I would probably just look like an ass for 10 seconds before I had to leave the stage with my tail between my legs. I'd rather not suffer the humiliation, and just stick to making my normal comments in my own time and space. Or broadcast from Mars, so my audience of little green men won't even know what the fuck I'm even saying. That would probably make it easier.

  11. I think it's absolutely pointless. It is a symptom of a self absorbed societies that have gotten so overindulged in social media, making everyone think they are someone, and then now NFT's are more of the same arrogant disease where people want to spread pointless and worthless pics to sell or own like it's a a happy sticker on a test you passed in school. And when Melania Trump gets in on it making NFT's of her portraits, then oh God you know it's bad when the crime boss family gets in on it this quick. That should tell us something. We are an egotistic society and only becoming worse.

  13. I fail to see how either of these are bizarre. The woman in front of you bought skin cream and cigarettes. You saw a guy light a cigarette after a hike. How is any of that bizarre?

  15. Chrono Trigger is another game that's where it's supposed to be and not pushed for any remakes whatsoever. With its unique combat system and interesting time traveling actions. It should be left on SNES the way it is till the end of time. What do you think about Chrono Trigger not getting a remake @The Blackangel?

  16. Like I said, CD Project Red are an independent developer, so they function as both publisher and developer.

  18. Yeah, he's an awful person. Was awful to women as well and has been accused of a lot of other bad behaviour towards women. The fact that any woman wanted to even touch the dude is beyond me. I've actually been trying to find his energy drinks again, because I just want to collect the a couple cans. I had saved the ones I bought years ago, but they got damaged and I tossed them. I actually found the site that sold them, and it was still up offering to sell. But I wasn't taking a chance to buy from the site, so I emailed about buying a couple, but never received a response lol.

  19. I get a sigh of relief when games get delayed. I know most hate it, and I understand that it sucks to see games you want get delayed. But when I see it happen, I feel it's just their choice to go in and fix problems they found, or making the game as optimized as possible. Now, if it's delayed multiple times, and so on, then maybe a release date further out is better. Exactly. Cyberpunk 2077 could have afforded another delay or two even. People had been waiting for years for this game to come out, and when it comes out rushed in the way it did, if it had more time to be made into something more concrete, then we may have had a whole different story on hand about how good the game was and how it achieved what fans were wanting. But in the end, we got a mediocre FPS that was kinda fun to play for a while.

  20. I ended up getting it on black friday, but was still peeved about the ending. I loved the beginning and some parts of the story, and the gameplay change they did was great, but the ending took that feeling away for me. I'm sure it was a rush, because it felt like the ending was heavily rushed.

  21. A friend of mine suggested in try LARPING, but I couldn't ever see myself doing it. I have no personality for it, and I get uncomfortable quick if I have to try to act or do something like that.

  22. The official trailer alone of the Gran Turismo 7 says it all on how good the game is likely to be when it's released.

    It's my 40th today.

Take some solace in the fact that woman age like a fine wine. Men age like beer that's been sitting out. Happy Birthday!

  25. Imagine a situation where so many people are still left out on getting PS5 and someone already have 2 of them. Isn't that evil?

  27. Damn, I didn't even consider Spec ops the line. One of my favorite games too because of its story. Also, heavy spoilers if you watch this video. But yeah, this game makes you feel bad.
