You should be actually kind of encouraged by this deal. With Activision-Blizzard owned by Microsoft it's only a matter of time untill the Call of Duty games are piled into Gamepass.3 points

I agree with both of you. I hate Texas also. I had DNA links down there, and they were the most fucked up humanoids I have ever met. I've also spent time down there, and hated every minute of it. I say give them what they want and let the secede. We're better off without them.2 points -

OMG Reality.I would not have guessed you live there. I lived in Texas for a while when I was a kid and now more than ever that is the LAST state I wanna go back to. And yes I probably hate Texas for the same general reasons that you do. Let's just leave that discussion for a different section of the site,though.2 points -
Xbox to Buy Activision-Blizzard for $68.7 Billion.

Wow I'm going back a while now. Back in the day I preferred Medal of honor over COD.There was a bit of a rivalry, in my mind any way.And with Gamepass, I don't have an X box and I couldn't get along with it on PC.Too many sign in/various log in problems.(welcome to gaming in 2021 eh?). You got me thinking now: If they would put some COD games on Gamepass for PC that mite entice me to check out Gamepass on PC again.I've played very few and some of them were really fun. And I gotta say I'm a Playstation PC guy but a Xbox series s , good internet and a gamepass sub and that's just a stupidly good deal if you don't need cutting edge graphics. I assume you can actually download games from gamepass and install them on the console hard drive? Thanx crazy,I needed some good gaming news.2 points -

Sequels that featured better gameplay in your opinion?
Heatman reacted to The Blackangel for a topic
That would be the Arabians. They're beyond stupid, will fuck up many things, and make you have to retry missions from the previous checkpoint. If it wasn't for everything else, I wouldn't bother with them. But the issue is that after you've had an Arabian in the game, you won't be able to ride anything else. They just don't compare in any way.1 point -

I'm in cow shit and pig face country called texas. Everyone drives the same exact truck with the same exact tires, same exact haircut, same exact clothes. I really can't tell them apart anymore. Just have to listen how they moooo to be able to identify them. Sometimes you can tell by the crap load that falls out of them and the shape of the patty. Others you have to listen to the oink oink.1 point -

Cyberpunk 2077 question
Lamarr the strelok reacted to Kane99 for a topic
I don't remember, but I'm sure there are some dick jokes sprinkled around the game. I can't say I recall any, but I'm sure there is. There's a lot of adult humor in the game, sexual in nature. I think there's also sex shops in the game and there are visible sex toys in the game. But I think it's only one section in the game.1 point -

The first one was a Quake2 port on the original PSX, and it was truly horrible compared to the PC version. I played it at one of my wealthy schoolmates house, as only the 1% could afford a console at the time here in Eastern Europe.1 point

Brand based games
Heatman reacted to Withywarlock for a topic
When people think of brand games on Playstation One, their first thought is likely to be Pepsiman. However I recall M&Ms: Shell Shocked as a very clumsy Crash Bandicoot knock-off that at least tried to be decent. Reviewing that one was rather fun. Doritos Dash of Destruction was kinda neat; you played as a car picking up Doritos evading dinosaurs, or you'd play as a dinosaur destroying the town and eating up the cars before they collected the Doritos. Beyond that there's not many that I remember playing. There's loads of them out there, the 7-Up game "Cool Spot" for instance, but few that I've played.1 point -

It's the same with any drug, legal or not. Caffeine is a stimulant. Alcohol is a downer. Nicotine is a downer. Everyone's drug is different, and the effects can be serious if not kept in check. I drink a 2 liter Diet Pepsi every day. If I don't have the constant caffeine flow into my body, things tend to get bad. I have an addiction to caffeine. People will argue it, but it's just as addictive as anything else out there. However that is all entirely irrelevant, as that is not what this topic is about. Let's get back to topic. If anyone wants to discuss the finer points of addiction, you can do so in the Debate/Politics/Religion subforum.1 point -

Not a fan of horror games or movies so I tend to stay away from them. I don't mind games set around aliens or zombies because I don't tend to consider them as being overly scary. But anything with a supernatural element and jump scares are a huge no for me. I like being able to sleep at night 😂1 point

What were the most groundbreaking arcade games?
Lamarr the strelok reacted to The Blackangel for a topic
Once again, Joust is a game that I considered, but I couldn't decide where it would land in any gaming style that it might have led to. Asteroids is another. It is the ultimate classic space shooter. I wasn't mentioning it, because I had already mentioned Galaga. There is no more iconic space shooter game than Asteroids. Despite the fact that you're just an oddly shaped triangle shooting white lines at other oddly polygons on a black screen, it is one of the most under looked games in the history of gaming. At least by the gamers of today. But that is simply because none of them know it exists. It may not look like much, but when it hit the Atari 2600 home console in 1981 people just about shit their pants. Everyone who was anyone had Asteroids at home on their Atari. I had one of their biggest competitors of the time, Colecovision. But I only had 3 games for it. Ladybug, which was a Pac-Man spinoff. Donkey Kong. And the 3rd one I cant remember. I think it was either Pitfall, Frogger, or Centipede most likely.1 point -

Lamarr the strelok reacted to The Blackangel for a topic
Donkey Kong, Pac-Man, and Mario Bros are some of the most impactful games. They led the way into games as we know them today. DK gave us Mario Bros. Mario Bros gave us SMB. Pac-Man gave us top down views instead of side scrolling views. There's also Galaga which paved the way for space shooters. Q*Bert helped open the world of puzzle games. A lot of my favorites, and a lot of gateway games.1 point -

Moments in games you are forced to do something you hate?
