Edge of Eternity, XBox One (Game Pass) It's a pretty good JRPG so far, especially one from a small studio. Nice although kinda generic graphics and music in the same style as the older Final Fantasy games like VII or X. It has ATB turn based combat system on a hexagonal battle grid. The story and banter between the characters is ok so far. The only complaint I have with it so far is how fucking buggy it is! I don't know if it's just an inferior XBox port or what but I've 3 hard crashes so far and during the tutorial a particular scripted event failed to activate forcing me to reset and wandering around aimlessly for 15 minutes. It frequently stutters, their's tons of pop in and the load times are absurd especially when you consider it's relatively small 9Gb file size. I recommend trying it out if a Final Fantasy or Xenoblade fan as part of a Gamepass subscription if you've got anyway but not as a purchase, at least not this port. Maybe other ports are better but I can't say.

George R.R. Martin, the creator of the Song of Ice and Fire series (AKA Game of Thrones), is not much of a gamer. But, he did reveal recently that he did do some gaming back in the day. The games he played? Well they were Railroad Tycoon, Romance of the Three Kingdoms, and Master of Orion. Honestly only am familiar with Railroad Tycoon myself. I know the other two, but don't know enough on them to say anything. But yeah, those are three of the games he played. As you know, he's heavily involved with Elden Ring, so it's kinda cool to know he did do some gaming in the past. But yeah, makes you wonder if he'd be into games today if he tried them out. Amazon also has a media streaming platform similar to Nexus, Internet servers and other services. I think that's what he meant by supermarket.

I've recently purchased Snowrunner after playing it on games pass. I also purchased Jedi Fallen Order after playing it on EA Play, but it was only 40 cents to buy, so as my late grandfather would say: For that kind of money I couldn't leave it there.

Take Two didn't develop the trilogy, Grove Street games did. Take Two owns Rockstar Games so it would be very weird and unfortunate for them to come out and complain against their owners. They did make the mistake of choosing Grove Street games to do the remaster though.

Eventually, they are going to definitely kill off the gaming industry like a parasite with no limitations.

Horror games are awesome! That said, I sometimes have to be in the right mood for one these days.

Monster Train, Darkest Dungeon, Slay The Spire, and Fable

I'm a former addict, and believe me, getting over an addiction is one of the hardest things to ever do. The second hardest is fighting the draw and falling back into it. I've been clean for 18 years, but it's an uphill battle for the rest of my life. I'll be climbing Everest in shorts and a sports bra until I die. That's what the fight is like to keep from using again. I applaud anyone who can beat and avoid any kind of addiction they face. Whether it's some form of substance like drugs or alcohol, or it's something else like gambling and pornography. If you can beat your addiction, you have won my respect.

Like seriously, you can imagine what's going to happen if we have one company monopolizing the gaming industry... We are dead.

The embargo was lifted a couple of hours ago scores are pretty much 8's and 9's across the board: I know reviews from pro-outlets need to be taken with a grain of salt, but their consistent here and it seems to pretty much reflect what were expecting. So I'm not expecting this to disappoint.

Personally, I don't really feel like dwelling much on 2021 video games that came out or failed. I'm looking forward to 2022 games more.

3D has for the most part been the standard in gaming for like 25 years! Game's like Cuphead that use 2D graphics are a relatively rare thing nowadays.

So, the guy eventually chose Xbox over Playstation. Thanks for the tips you all provided for him to help him make this decision.

In today's world, religion is nothing more than organized crime. It seeks power, not faith. The most faithful people I personally have ever encountered are Muslims. Jews would be a close second place after that. There's one Synagogue and one Mosque here in my town, and I've seen some of the most faithful people going to them. Whereas the churches are a lot different. Religion in my opinion, is a crutch and a trick to beat down the weak, and lift up the rest. The threat of eternal damnation is what got religions power in the first place when they were still small. Every religion started out as a cult. Even Judaism, Islam, and xtianity.
