RACISM AGAIN!2 points

How many people have actually played the game? Playing games in the same genre, I have to say Saints Row 2 deserves respect. It deserves awards that it never got. I won't let it pass in undiscovered territory. It's a must play. Out of all the driving type games I've played, this game beats them all and it's a ps3 generation game as what I'm playing on.1 point

Don't really know what to call it so it will have to do for now. As title says and i won't deny it i like to collect and buy videogames, most forums i used to visit were collector based so they all had these sort of threads so here we go, post video game and video game related stuff you bought, pictures are a must imo so we know what you are talking about. Pretty much anything goes aslong it's somewhat related to video games. It would be cool if we could get a thread and conversation going about pick ups. As for myself i kind off went on a bargain hunting spree for current gen games the past week orso, some games i really wanted to play but diden't want to pay full price and a few i toke a chance on because they looked interesting. Grid legends is the only game i paid full price for. I'm normally more of a collector for the older stuff but you'll find that out pretty soon. I've got about 50 more games i picked up the past few weeks just waiting on a few more packages to post those.1 point

I bought a new Switch.

I've seen the reason why you don't care much about it. If it is an expensive phone or gaming device like the PSP or PS Vita, you wouldn't carry it anyhow, especially in locations that seems vulnerable.1 point -

That's the problem. When you buy an NFT, you are not buying a piece of art, media or copyright, it's a receipt for that piece of art, media or copyright without actually owning it. You have no rights to it. It's just another form of cryptocurrency, the only difference is it can't be redded for any form of currency or goods like crypto can, that's why they're called NFT's, or Non Fungible Tokens. People who host the NFT's get a cut of the increased value margin whenever people invest in the NFT and have thier token authenticated by the blockchain, that's why these scumbags want as many people to get in on this as possible. You will make no money on something that's difficult to even exchange for anything tangible anyway, while these asshole laugh at you on the way to the bank. It's your life and you can do what you want, but can I please implore you not to do it.1 point

You are in asia, we get PC cheaper, consoles expensive. he lives in UK or maybe US where the console buying is relatively cheaper for them as they exclusively play games. Asians want multi asset utility and never spend on one device for the sake of it. So sure PC is not expensive in that context even if it's gaming build.1 point

Violent Games and Teen Aggression Aren’t Linked?
Crazycrab reacted to Reality vs Adventure for a topic
I read both those links. The survey comes right out to say gaming makes kids aggressive but mentioned almost nothing on aggression and only talks about gaming addiction. This is what the survey says on aggression: "Parents of teens who play games are generally neutral on the effect of games on their children, with nearly two-thirds believing that games have no impact one way or the other on their offspring." "62 per cent of parents say that video games have no effect on their child one way or the other. 19 per cent of parents say that video games have a positive influence on their child. 13 per cent of parents say video games have a negative influence on their child." So that survey is redundant. The study in your first link starts off saying this: "Kids exposed to violent video games are more likely to pull the trigger in real life situations, as compared to those who do not indulge in such gaming habits, researchers have warned." There were 3 groups (gaming with guns, gaming with swords, and gaming with non violence). The kids gamed for 20 minutes and then went to a room to play with toys. 2 disabled handguns were left there for the study and the kids found them and 'touched a gun.' How did they get from touching a gun to "most likely to pull the trigger in real life situations" when they are in a fucking toy room? How does that resemble real life situations? WTF? And the ones who touched a gun did it out of familiarization or curiosity. That's not aggression. And the ones who played the game without violence and who also touched a gun, are they considered aggressive too because of gaming? Sorry but I declare bullshit1 point -

Just finished up Greedfall yesterday, while mediocre in gameplay i'm glad i stuck around for the entire game because the story and questlines were quite good. I'll probably start watch dogs 2 this afternoon, i coulden't get into it the first time but some folks here are very positive about it so may aswell give it another go.1 point -

When I know I will be too busy, or leaving out my switch or another device out in the public arena, maybe due to my involvement in fitness exercises, I wouldn't risk my switch. U rather leave it at home, instead of facing the risk of losing it.1 point -

Life Is Strange: True Colors
The Blackangel reacted to Shagger for a topic
It's not dumb at all On the contrary, it takes a keen eye to acknowledge just how important that is. To me, that makes a game's environment feel more real, lived in, rather than just part of the background. It adds flesh to the skeleton and is essential in a game like LiS to help immerse you in the story. The connection between the player and the environment needs to be done differently in a game LiS as the environment in itself is more inert than in an action game. This something that every LiS game has done exceptionally well.1 point -

I would say this order ; Skyrim GTA 5 Fortnite Minecraft Mario Kart 81 point -
My reasons are because it has tons of side activities to do that are super fun and crazy like the firetruck, play a cop, helicopter rides, tramp escort, ambulance, boat rides etc. It has a dystopia feel which I love. My character I created through customization is awesome. You can pay for plastic surgery to change your character looks. Most games you can't. The gameplay is amazing. It's over the top GTA. It's like they took all the best out of GTA and put it together into one and took it to another level. GTA 5 still stands as one of the best games in this genre, but SR 2 goes beyond the pale. If you love GTA, this is a must. You can save your vehicles, customize them, get tattoos, piercings, makeup, clothing, or go nude, or walk around in underwear. Graphics are superb for a ps3 gen. Music is great. And when you exit the vehicle, you can still hear the music while you cap people or drink a 40 oz. It's just an all around fun game that I can't get enough of. You can have a theme for your gang members. Mine is pimps and prostitutes. You can always change it. Not a game for children, that's for sure.1 point

Do you use auto assist aiming?
Withywarlock reacted to Empire for a topic
I'm used to having it off with most games that have Aim support. I'm a PC gamer and always used keyboard and mouse anyway. I aim and shoot as I do things, plus I always aim a little in front of them if they are running or going all over the raod 😛1 point -

Oh absolutely, I do the same thing, but sometimes you pick up a game, know what it's going to be, and it can still be challenging, or more challenging than you were expecting, and that can throw you off at times. You're right, though, it's best to go in knowing what's coming!1 point -

Even when I had an off day, marred with bitterness I still play video games on my console. The reason is that, what I can't change their is no need toiling about it. Gaming make me happy and makes me forget about my troubled moments.1 point -

A favourite game definitely helps the mood. A new game can go either way, depending on the game. A challenging game can make me feel worse for not getting through it, but a fun game can make me forget about whatever was bothering me.1 point
