Would you rather have a locked 30fps or inconsistent 60fps?
NightmareFarm reacted to Zesty for a topic
I think Id rather have inconsistent 60 FPS because 30 FPS would feel super slow and sluggish. Although now I game on my PC and am used to 120 FPS minimum so it'd be hard for me either way!1 point -

Well you should, i also skipped out on it the first time around. It was because @Kane99 kept being saying good words about it, i gave it another chance and i'm glad i did, really enjoying the game so far. I'm usually the gun blazing type but man sneaking into a building and not fucking up feels so rewarding.1 point

What Zelda Games Would You Like To See Ported To Switch?
kingpotato reacted to Yaramaki for a topic
Haha for what would i start a witch hunt just because you don't like a game and i do. The world would be a boring place if we would all like the same stuff right and share the same oppionions.1 point -
I think you got it all wrong since it's actually the crew that replaced driver, Ubisoft reflections who worked on driver san francisco went on to work on The crew together with ivory tower. Dude stop bringing up Motogp every time please, i get it you like motogp and if i'm being honest i haven't played a motogp game since valentino rossi the game and that let's be honest it was not that good of a game. I did play all the entries in the Ride series which is from the same people behing the motogp series and all are eh just mediocre games. I even tried my hands at some motorcross games from them and those are laughably bad. You know moto gp 09/10 back when Capcom still had the license is a much better game then anything milestone has released to date. Also please start using sentences that make sense, because what you write above is making my head spin. And one more thing while i'm at it clearly you have not played any watch dogs : Please stop posting shit about a game that you have not played yet, stop jumping on the bandwagon just because someone else isen't into something doesen't mean that you woulden't like it! Now that that is out of the way please enjoy your day and take care! Peace!1 point

Officially 100% Mario Kart 7, all items, characters and 3 start ratings. And I started playing Metroid fusion, funny enough despite playing a lot of Metroid games I have never actually finished one1 point -
I'm having a very similar debate with @skyfire on another thread and I'm long way from convinced that you need $1400 laptop to do web design. On a side note, do you mind posting the specs of you specs of your machine? Thanks. Back to the point, a cheaper laptop that isn't meant for gaming could suit that purposed then buying a PS5 to use for gaming and I'd bet my last penny it would work out less than $1400. True, you would know better tha me what is required out of a computer to do web design, so if you could fill me in on that I'd apricate it.1 point

Who are your favorite reviewers?
Heatman reacted to Head_Hunter for a topic
xD, I just hope it stays in-line with the discussion topic,so anyone don't get upset. I love to stay cool, than drawing out issues, Back on topic; Videogamedunkey, VanossGaming are YouTube gaming channels specifically on reviewing video games, and also bringing up trending video game news etc.1 point -
I'm very much satisfied with their reviews on video games they have found time to review. Yes, it's not all games they have chipped in their reviews but the ones they did are well covered.1 point

What Zelda Games Would You Like To See Ported To Switch?
Heatman reacted to kingpotato for a topic
I have looked in to it, a hacked Wii U will cost me around 150 US dollars, but I dont know If I want to spend that kind of money just for a game that I already played, and also in someway or another I have already played or owned most of the games on the Wii U. Also...(I might get burn at the stake for saying this) but I dont like xenoblade chronicles😆 I played the first game on the Wii, spent over 30 hours into it and I didnt like it at all, I havent played the X version or the sequel though1 point -
Violent Games and Teen Aggression Aren’t Linked?
Lamarr the strelok reacted to Crazycrab for a topic
This one really stretches it if you ask me. The test was that they allowed 3 sets of children to play 3 different versions of Minecraft, one with guns and monsters, one with swords and monsters and one with no guns, swords or monsters and then put the children in a room full of toys. Among the toys was a realistic looking gun and (big surprise) the kids that played with the gun in Minecraft tended to be drawn to the gun in real life. If you ask me, it seems pretty obvious that after playing a game and having fun they would be drawn to something that relates to that experience, it doesn't mean that they are more violent. The article itself even admits: Yeah, this is not real life! Also in it's conclusion it states: Frankly, if need research like this to tell you that then you shouldn't be breathing, let alone breeding. There are a lot of problems with this so let me break it down. I want to state first this is a survey, not an experiment. The the "results" are based purely on what the subjects already believe. Secondly, despite it's title "Too much gaming makes kids aggressive, violent: Survey" as @Reality vs Adventure pointed out it barely talks about violence. The subject mostly under discussion is video game addiction which, I will state for the record, I do consider to be a legitimate problem. Video games should be enjoyed in moderation and should not be played to the excess that they are controlling one's life and/or effecting your health. This is one of only two part's that are relevant to this topic (I'll get to the other a little later): This is purely speculative, I could believe that children could experience desensitisation to violence when playing violent games in the same people tend to get desensitised to violence by watching violent films. But I've seen plenty of other research that shows that it doesn't make them more violent people. The last thing comes back to that clickbait title again. It is literally by the results presented by it's own survey.... A LIE! Check this out from the article! By their own fucking results 81% of the survey subjects believe that video games have no negative effect on their children. More said that video game have positive effect rather than a negative one! So where the hell is this asshat even drawing that bullshit conclusion earlier! Nice job @egghead, you literally just charged down to the other end of the field and kicked an own goal! Thank you!1 point -

The game did really lack content, the gameplay mechanics itself was very repetitive. Just basically swinging from area to area and if you fall from too high your character died.1 point -

I can't think of an on-game moment that is sad, but I do think back to playing games on the Xbox 360 with friends and how those times have long since passed and I never fully understood how much those moments would mean to me.0 points
