  1. I've read the article and essentially what's happening is Capcom have decided to impose monetary restrictions of Street Fighter Tournament Organisers. Under these terms the prize fund is limited to $2000 per event and $10,000 for a TO per year. Sponsorship revenue is also limited to $5000 per event and $20,000 per year. Also under the new terms Capcom retain the rights to any media from any event including photos, video and livetreams. Capcom are saying they made these changes to the licence agreement to "make organising easier and faster". On that note I can see what Capcom think their doing. The idea being that by having these terms fixed in the licence agreement TO's don't have to spend time negotiating the monetary terms with them. The obvious problem especially for players and TO's of bigger events id that these are very low amounts of money. So low that it's not even bothering, especially after the costs of trademark fees, renting venues and so on are taken off. These kind of terms are a fairly common thing in many licensing agreements in professional sports, but Capcom have taken this WAY to far. These limitations are absolutely absurd. How the hell are they supposed to attract any top players when the prize pool is only $2000? It's fucking ridiculous.

  2. For me, it's Burnout. The games were intense, felt fantastic to control, unique, great soundtracks and massive fun. Apart from Burnout Paradise, that game can suck a smelly toe, but the rest of them are great. Burnout 3 in particular is, in my humble opinion, the best arcade racing game ever made, and given the decline in the genre, will probably be best we will ever see.

  3. I am a big fan of racing games, their is no secret to that. I opened up this thread to keep it engaged with fellow racing game lovers. When it comes to my choice of racing games, I love 'Moto GP series a lot, I consider it my best racing game series of all-time. I take pride also around, 'GT series, NFS series, F1 series and Monster Energy Super-cross racing series. What's your own favourite racing game series? 4. News84Media.com The UCL competition is at the semi-final stage once again, only four teams remaining, which are; Man City, Real Madrid, Liverpool and Villarreal CF. Man City vs Real Madrid will battle it out home and away very soon in a semi final tie, while Liverpool and Villarreal will battle the other fixture. Villarreal CF have pulled off with major significant scalps recently, defeating Juventus and FC Bayern in the process, lots of people were very surprised seeing them pulling off such kind of David and Goiath battle. In which they were considered clear underdogs in both fixtures, but they surprisingly pulled through. Real Madrid did tremendously to knock Chelsea FC off in the last round, they'll pose a major threat to Pep Guadiola and his boys in the semi-final tie, but I'll be backing Manchester city to move to the final in the expense of Real Madrid, even if Madrid have shown resilience towards their ambition to clinch a 14th European cup victory. Man City is hoping to make amends in their last season defeat against Chelsea FC, to clinch their first ever European cup success, it will be a cracker of match indeed. Many will be tipping Liverpool FC for am easy victory against Villarreal CF, but the reverse might be the case, just as Villarreal CF surprised the big guns (teams) recently, we saw it around Juventus team and Bayern Munich team. They're just capable of pulling off another scalp against one of the favourites to land the UCL title in 'Liverpool FC. I'm crossing my hands, and expecting to enjoy the teams in action as the semi-final fixtures draws closer. Which team/club are you backing to clinch the UEFA Champions League cup come May 28, 2022?

  5. You know I can never support such extra means of money derivatives by the game creators, that's extortion. I don't like the idea of micro-transactions, it has deviated us from the spirit of the game to spending money like we're playing casino bets.

  6. I don't know if I'm reading this all wrong or something, but it looks you're defending this sort of thing. Pay-to-win is never acceptable under any circumstances. It's takes away the accomplishment of victory, it removes any sense of fairness and valour in defeat, it invalidates competition, it's lazy and it's greedy. It makes a game worse if not ruin it completely, pure and simple and every time. And as I explained earlier, cosmetic microtransactions aren't much better.

  7. Actually it has nothing to do with marketing, its for several reasons and it depends on each game. It can be due to the servers, for a game to work in that specific region you will need servers in that region as well, and of course that also comes with legal, licensing, transalation, content regulations, publishing issues etc that affect the release on a specific country thats why not all games release to all countries at the same time. There is a bunch of issues that will affect a game to not be released on a specific country but I dont think marketing is one of them, if it was it will be a very stupid reason

  8. I'd disagree. The skins are more manipulative and more diabolically clever than you might think, especially on game aimed a younger audiences like Fortnite is. It's all about a kind of unspoken class structure. If you're a teenager playing session on Fortnite in lobby full of your School mates donning standard skins, bulling and kind of peer pressure that could put real pressure on vulnerable people to spend money. I remember when I was in high school that kids got made fun of when they wore cheap brands of clothing or shoes, this the same sort of thing in more modern guise. If a lot of ways, the cosmetic microtransactions may be even worse than pay-to-win. I'd say they are even predatory and manipulative, especially in a game aimed at a younger audience.

  9. I've stolen horses in RDR Online, and I've had horses stolen from me in RDR Online. It's not impossible, it's actually quite easy. You walk up to the horse, climb on, and ride away. You're missing the problem with PK's. And you're playing somewhere that makes me wonder if you've explored much. If you get out and really look, you will find them everywhere.

  10. Here's an oldie, but a goodie: I was walking through the cemetery one day when a specific tombstone caught my attention. When I went up to it and read the name on the grave my blood ran cold. It was mine.

    Milestone Thread

Alright 300 posts, let's do this is how 300 xbone games on the floor look like one for each posts, you always see these big ps4 collections, but never xbox one/series x collections, well maybe that's for a reason but you know. I probably have another 50 orso more games but that's not really the point, but i doubt i'll get to 400 games when i may hit 400 posts, so guess i'll have to come up with something else :

  12. I'm not optimistic. Even if it is Silent Hill, and the people writing these articles are being VERY presumptuous if ask me, every FucKonami release release since their split with Kojima has been a disaster.

  14. It's one of the dumbest decisions I've seen a company make and we've see Ubisoft, EA, Bethesda and others pulling some absolute stupid moves. All they've managed to do is basically alienating a portion of the Street Fighter fanbase - the hardcore players. Fighting tournaments are already dropping Street Fighter - Honestly, I'm still trying to see how they thought this was a good idea...

But those are exchanges - it's much better to store your crypto somewhere else because Crypto exchanges are hacked all the time. I have a couple software crypto wallets like Coinomi, Blockchain.com, Trust Wallet and few others along with my Ledger. It's never good to store everything in one place especially when it comes to the internet.

  16. I'm just short of words to describe my own favourite racing games, because I don't play much of them, but I'm going to say, 'GT is my favourite at this moment. Because I got the edition 7 on my PS4, which is the first ever edition launching on PS4.

  17. You're spot on with your assessment on this and if completely agree with you on every part of it. If they did own the network completely, they will definitely be charging for it because these guys never say no to making more money off of us.

That's nice to hear with your success around 10 mins Rome battle with your special Corvette blue car, lol. What's holding your from migrating to GT 7? With the list you made here, it shows how far you've gone with your racing game choices. NASCAR, Turismo, WRC 8 are all tremendous racing games. For the fact you're playing them via different platforms shows how indebted you are playing racing games, the feeling is high. How many platforms do you make use of currently bro?

You know that I still favor Gran Turismo 6 over the newly released Gran Turismo 7. I'm playing the 6th edition as we speak.
