I'm going to step in. Everyone needs to drop this fight over RDR2. To clarify: As far as consoles go, Red Dead Redemption was released on the PS3 and Xbox 360. Red Dead Redemption 2 was released on the PS4 and Xbox One. RDR2 is also available on PC. RDR1 is not available on PC as far as I can tell. So there you have it. Drop the bullshit. Get back on topic and stay on topic.

Your right. When a game basically forces you to try-die over and over, it does get tedious, even a bit boring.

Well, the game is pretty solid apart from that. I'd say the story is also virtually non existant basically an afterthought but it it's marketed as a gameplay focused game. And it delivers on that front, the combat has a badass feeling to it that very few games can replicate you have an extensive movelist of kung fu you can utilize to fight people like you can even pick up baseball bats and smash people up with it. The animations also feel very crunchy like you can feel each blow. Especially the finishers. The repetitivity is really the main problem the game has though if you ask me. It's just that one flaw that drags it down. It's an average game but could have been great if it wasn't based around dying constantly.

Then it's lack of content that's the main problem with the game which was why they had no other choice but to design its gameplay to come with a lot of repetitive play. I think that can be managed to an extent, if it gets too boring, I can rest 😂.

That's pretty cool then. I might have to download Warzone to check it out because I don't have access to Vanguard, only Cold War. It would be a pretty surreal experience to see a massive King Kong on the map attacking you especially if they've done a good job with the PS5 haptics.

Right after Elon Musk bought Twitter, the Department of Homeland Security has created the Disinformation Governance Board announced on April 27th. It was created to fight the misinformation from Russia's invasion and Russia's threat to meddle in future elections. It would also help prevent misinformation of our borders from smugglers profiting off of drawing people to the borders. Meanwhile those republicans banned books in schools, banned talk of racism, history, civil rights, women suffrage, gender identity, etc. in schools. They got no room to talk anymore. They don't even want to have debates anymore because they can't face public criticism of their craziness. Meanwhile, Musk is trolling liberals every single day now since he got Twitter and he already broke contract agreement with Twitter where he was not allowed to talk bad about Twitter board members until the deal was finalized, but Musk keeps shit talking everyone. Maybe narcissism is setting in as he ages. Looks that way. His power is getting over his head. He's joking around (or is he) about buying Coca-Cola to 'put cocaine back in' as well as McDonald's. And republicans were trying to ban Coca-Cola for speaking out against republican voting suppression bills. So it's obvious Musk just wants to troll liberals now. And republicans are abusing their power and attacking every corporation that speaks out about their hate bills. How did these people get so vindictive? But I hope things can get a little better if we had less Russian lies, Covid lies, election lies, inciting violence etc.

Who would even think to look for these kinds of items in a western game? Who knows where to obtain any of them? You can't buy any of them anywhere. They're not mentioned anywhere. No one says anything about them. And this list is only a sampling of all the WTF items in the game. If anyone can tell me how the west was won with a fertility statue, I'm all ears.

Calypso is pretty Twisted lol. He held Twisted Metal in LA and once he destroyed that, he decided to go global with the tournament. The worst part is he held this tournament for entertainment - he didn't care about the consequences it had on the citizens at all.

Social media shouldn't have to suffer from a few bad apples. We all need social media to know what happens in the world but when those in power abuse the media and then take it away from citizens is a dangerous move. That's why I worry about Twitter becoming privately owned now instead of publicly owned because now with Musk's alignment with republicans, they can do what they want with the social media even shut it down if they feel it necessary to block spread of information from citizens in case of a future crisis or just censor whatever they want. Of course there is still Meta that is still publicly owned which have had its share of profiting from right wing misinformation and hate. So my faith now resides in the prepping laws Europe has taken to combat this with the Digital Services Act for Europe. The rest of us are vulnerable to the abuse from those that control social media. Especially in Nigeria I fear for the conflicts that can happen there in relation to the president and what happened in early 2021 and how that can affect your social media in the future. I'm not familiar with the history of your government and the coups that have happened, and the civil war. I hope recent conflicts doesn't put innocent people in harm. That's where social media becomes most important to help the rest of us understand the situation. Our social media is more important than ever especially with all the events in the world. But Twitter took a negative turn. There will always be misinformation, I understand that, but inciting violence and Covid dangerous lies has to be held in check which Musk is not the stand up person for the job.

I know, I mentioned similare games as well. I was playing Sifu earlier this month and thought the combat is really fun but what really kills this game is how repetitive it is having to do runs over and over on the same level to beat the game. It's one of those games designed to have you die over and over on the same parts. Guess how many levels are in the entire game? 5. Each take about 15-20 minutes to beat if you don't die. Most of the playtime is from just constantly dying and having to do the same thing over and over, not from actually progressing through the game and story and doing new stuff. It's actually helping people get away with lazy game design. It could have been so much better if it wasn't like this because the gameplay is very well designed.

I'm sorry you had to miss out on when the franchise (and I think by extension the whole genre) was at it's best. Don't get me wrong there has been evolution in sim racing with the GT Series and licenced products like F1 and WRC. Open world racing games have gotten a lot better too with titles like Forza Horizon. Unfortunately the drifting, nitro boosting, vehicle smashing, fuck realism, balls to the wall arcade racers that I used to love like Burnout 3 are all but destroyed. Thanks largely to EA and Burnout Paradise.
