I dont think you know what an Hugo award is, an Hugo award is a literary award for the best science fiction or fantasy works and achievements , as in Short stories, Novels, Art and just recently they added a Best Videogame category in this case the first ever winner was Hades. A gaming studio cannot win an award like this and even less for purchasing another company, that has nothing to do with the award itself and doesnt deserve an award in anyway because it was a business purchase

This situation is why the phrase “the customer is always right” was created. That phrase doesn’t mean everyone has to bend over for Karen being a scumbag just because she’s the customer. What it was created to mean was that if you sell hats and you start a promotion to give away a free taco with the purchase of every hat and people are only buying your hats to get the taco, stop selling hats and just sell tacos. Just sell the games, Ubisoft. Jesus.

I've read there has been a kind of mass crisis regarding psych studies not being replicable: https://www.nature.com/articles/nature.2015.18248 My guess is that the reason for this is that there are likely so many individual factors that vary that it is simply hard to conduct psych studies. What works for one person with OCD with neurotype X and cultural belief Y may not fit another person with OCD and neurotype Z and belief Q. I don't think that necessarily means the study data isn't sometimes potentially valid and useful--just that it may apply to a narrower slice of the population than assumed in some cases.

I'd have to really amp the stakes for that to happen. Give away a car or house 😉

Have you been playing any attention? If you weren't so focused on just making as many posts as possible (You're still doing these bursts of dozens of one sentence posts in period of less than hour) and actually take some time to read what everyone has said, you would know that NFT's are a con. Know that they are a scam. You seem to approve of these things, but I don't ever recall seeing you explain why. Maybe because that would take a post longer than two sentences and we're not worth that effort. But regardless of the reason, I'm actually asking you now. If you genuinely think NFT's are good thing, please explain why.

I disagree completely. The ‘old’ generation of gaming was far better. Nowadays we get broken games and micro transactions and a poor experience. Gaming 10 years was way better than it is now.

Call me cynical if you want, but I personally don't measure the quality of a game on how many copies it has sold, so I see no point in glorifying these stats. Buy 2015, 20 million people had had bought and/or played Destiny and it set all sort of sales records, but that didn't stop the game being crap. So I really don't see the point on discussing this.

An absence of creatures that would trigger my trypophobia so that I could actually play at least one game in the damn series.
