Hey everyone I'm Ravenfreak, I'm a 32 year old nerd! I mainly enjoy retro games the most but I do play modern games as well. Other things besides games that I like are anime/manga, cartoons/comics, music, movies, forums, and I do enjoy programming from time to time. My favorite animated series is Teen Titans, and my favorite gaming franchise is Sonic the Hedgehog.

I didn't get to play yugioh master duel I don't know why though, because my friend was telling me some really good features about the Game, maybe it just skipped my mind. But fortnite and COD warzone are really good and interesting free to play online games I have played.

From what I understand, it's untraceable virtual money. Take your bank account for example. Let's say you have $1,000 in it. You don't have $1,000 cash in your wallet. Cryptocurrency works the same way. You would have a form of bank account that instead of having cash behind it, you would have the company you bought from backing it. It's somewhat along the same lines as the NFT bullshit. You buy something virtual, and hope you don't lose your ass doing so. It's why I don't buy cryptocurrency. I don't trust it. I invest in something more tangible. Which is why I buy a troy of silver every month. The price of silver fluctuates by the second, but it holds it's value really well. I would invest in gold, but can't afford it in any way, shape, or form.

Well that's not good marketing strategy. You might have no problem buying two full price games at the same time but lots of other people would. They would obviously want to their customer base to buy both titles but if they released around the same time most would only buy one, literally shooting themselves in foot. In this particular situation with Elden Ring and Bloodborne 2 this situation would actually be even worse. Although it was developed by From Software, a third party developer that Sony don't own, the Bloodborne IP is actually owned by Sony. So on a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being rage quit and 10 being orchestrated mass extinction. How pissed would Sony if they found out a developer that they are working with on a major exclusive were releasing another game in same genre with another publisher to be released within the same year? I'm thinking maybe a...... 7? Even if it were plausible releasing Bloodborne 2 this year would be terrible idea. Even if it on the cards it might not necessarily be From Software that are making it. Sony might contact someone else like Bluepoint Games, the same team behind the Demon's Remake instead. You really need get of this horse until we something definitive.

If you are true gaming fan then you would certainly have guessed that final fantasy vi is among the top games you could play and enjoy both on Nintendo and PlayStation. Super Mario is still not left out I would play this two games any day.

I think you'd have to ask the people who choose not to sue "why" for a direct answer. But it basically comes down to money. If there's enough money, like Microsoft Elite 2 or Cyberpunk then stuff is put into place to make the buyer whole. If it's something like an app, there isn't enough money. App games are mostly free and rely on advertmenets so we could guess there isn't enough time, resources, or potential award money to warrant the effort.

At times just doing YouTube at 4K with screen full can last a good hour and whatnot, gaming hard doesn't drain like the old phones. The go+ drains the battery the most. An active Bluetooth connection is a constant battery drain. I’ve had my 12 for a year now. I have to either use a battery back up while playing, as i also grind with a gotcha, or i just have to charge twice in a day. I’m at 87% capacity. Now that Apple has opened up self repairs, we may be able to replace our own battery when needed.

Anything health issues that's connected with sight is something to be taken very seriously 100%. You can't joke with your sight. If one knows the horrors those that are blind pass through every day of their lives, one would value their sight like their lives depends on it.

I have even laid down when playing but that's mainly when my sleep is calling me so bad and I still pay deaf ear to it. I would force myself to lay down a bit and most of the time, I sleep off playing in that situation.

You completely butchered the guy and I get the reason why you had to do that. It's not nice when one tries to make you accept something that you aren't good with but at the same time disagree with your own opinion which is based on your feelings towards something. Ogre Battle: The March Of The Black Queen wasn't mentioned by anyone and I felt that's not good enough. It's one of best tactical RPGs game ever made which focuses on war management and building armies. It's something that I love so much.

I don't push myself to the extreme limit while playing games, therefore, I have never blackout. Gaming is just fun activity and I do not want to hurt my mind and body by pushing myself to extreme limit.

Who doesn't like a lot of armor? When it's very necessary for your long term survival in the game, having less of it, means death for you.

Final Fantasy 6 or Golden Sun - You can't go wrong with either. The rest are great games as well but I'd rank both above the others.

First of all, I don't care what anyone says, Murder She Wrote kicks ass! Secondly your the one that's completely wrong here. Thirdly you can cut that "I'm right and yer wrong lol" crap or we are gonna have a problem! That attitude is completely uncalled for. You seem to be associating the term "fun" exclusively with the laughing and smiling type of experience, but that's not the only way people have "fun". Enjoyable experiences also come from being aroused, surprised, intellectually stimulated and winning. Even negative stimulation like sorrow, shock, terror and sometimes even pain. Why else would people enjoy horror movies, bungie jumping, crying at opera's and BDSM. But no, it's seems that in gaming the only way to have fun is you narrow definition of "what causes smiles and laughs" and "fun itself is not subjective". Are you for real? If that were true we wouldn't even be having this discussion because we would all the be playing the same games doing the same thing. I'll be honest here, your version of "perfect fun": Sounds stressful as fuck to me! Continuous sensory load with no breaks with non stop smiling and laughing? I'd think I'd have a heart attack! But that's fine, you do you. I don't see why you feel the need to jump down other people because they find some something dramatic like The last of Us "fun", or least not your kind of fun. I'm genuinely baffled at the idea you seem fun isn't subjective. That is so academically incorrect and I know you're smart. As much as I love Final Fantasy 6, I say go with Earthbound first. It's definitely my favorite RPG on the SNES, it's so bizarre and eerie at the same time. It's also got one of the most creepiest sounding tracks in a non horror video game, not Giygas' theme but the Cave of the Past.

What it all come down to is how popular you and your Twitch channel is. To make the absurd amount of money PewDiePie or Ninja does, you have to be at a level of populatiy that's pretty much A-list celebrity territory. When Twitch streamers get to a certain point in popularity, the amount of traffic the bring to the twitch website can be immense, generating a ton of revenue for both themselves and Twitch through adds. Popularity also brings in more subscribers, donators and sometimes sponsors as well. It's a classic "the rich get richer" scenario. However, forget about making millions, just earning enough through streaming to earn a living is incredibly rare and very few people even get that far. To get to that point requires working hard at it and being decimated and committed, something that's difficult to do before your earning enough money to actually stream full time without another job, so it's not easy. Not to mention this does require a certain amount of luck as well. People can work twice as hard on thier Twitch channel as Ninja or PewDiePie and earn nothing. It's not fair, but it's what it is. Ninja was a little bit different because he's a successful pro-gamer, so he was able to jump right into it and be as popular as he is almost right away, but PewDiePie has been doing YouTube and Twitch for a long time and built this up from nothing. So I don't actually grudge him his success, but I still reserve the right to be homicidally jealous.

Well, there are people out there doing more tedious work,I like to play games and having to experience a game first-hand before it even get released is mind-blowing, though I Know it can be tedious maybe that's among the reasons you are paid well for the task.

No. It would suck the fun out of it. Based on what I've researched, being a a video game tester is some seriously tedious stuff. You control a character, make the character turn around, face every direction, preform every solo action like bring out a weapon, attack, use items etc for every one of those directions, have the character duck, do all the that again, have the character move one pixel, rinse and repeat for that entire room. Imagining what it would be like trying to actually play the game after doing that, even if it were a great for me, it just wouldn't be the same. It would be like PTSD.

This first thing I have been able to find out is the the Fortnite Dreamhack Tournament appears to have expired, so I'm afraid that's out. The second thing is I'd advise caution. Legitimate tournaments do often expect players to pay to be a part of the professional associations to pay for tournaments making it very easy to be scammed. I'd never discourage anyone from perusing esports if they're serious about it, but with all due respect the way you have worded you post tells me that you haven't given this much thought. Sometime game companies might host open competitions like Dreamhack, but most of them are made for professionals with capital to invest into thier career either from themselves or from investors and sponsors, and it takes being the absolute best players with a proven record to get there. By all means , keep an eye out for tournaments like Dreamhack in the future and even share them with VGR when you learn about them, but be carful out there.

I'm not sure to be honest because barring the most demanding of games - the difference in battery drain between most games is not that huge.

If I don't take time and take very good care of my console and entire gaming set up, I wonder who's supposed to do it for me? It's not like I have a maid or house help to do the job for me and I wouldn't easily trust another to clean my console for me. I watch one funny video on Facebook where a cleaner used water to wash his boss PS4 after scrubbing it with detergent. Ever since then, I never feel comfortable allowing another person to clean my console for me.

They say that experience is the best teacher and I do believe that as well. When you learn the lessons the hard way, you will never forget it quickly.

I second @Reality vs Adventure's suggestion of seeing your doctor and/or opticians immediately. I regret not seeing this post sooner because this isn't normal, and could be a sign of something very serious. Very recently I've had eyelid spasms, originally thinking it was my eyeballs themselves flickering out. I saw my optician and I'm thankful they said my eyes are perfectly healthy, but I don't want to take my chances. Anything I can do to limit screen time and bright lights I take without hesitation. ~ Hopefully I've just lost something in translation, and that by blackout it's like when I'm intuitively just flying through Spyro levels because I know them like the back of my hand without really any thought or care. Otherwise, don't risk it. Stay safe.

I never said anything about combat being repetitive. Let me clarify myself, my problem with the game was not the battles but the pacing of the game, there was too much text between battles and battles were short, so for every 10 min of battle there was basically 20 min of text, or at least thats how it felt to me.

It's not only Skins that are important in Fortnite. There are other tools or even weapons as some would call them. They are quite very important in the course of playing the game. Take for instance, the Leviathan Axe. It's one powerful tool. video.mp4

What's considered fun can be subjective in my opinion. This is because there are a lot of things that I might find fun in which another person would disagree and that's very normal. The same thing is apparently applicable to video games as well. A gamer might see a particular game to be fun for him while it's not to another. If I'm picking one game that's pure fun to play, it would be the first person life simulation adventure video game Slime Rancher.

I have played at least 4 hours or 5 hours as the longest run I have ever taken myself and it was just because I was all less busy. It's was just one weekend that I managed to do that. The following morning, I never liked how I felt about it because it stressed my body too much. I'm very comfortable with just playing not more than 2 hours every day. I might even skip a day and wouldn't mind at all.

You're right about that on being able to play a lot more on weekends especially on Saturday. Just like yesterday, I was able to play at least for 7 hours starting around 7:25 AM throughout the day till I stopped playing around 9:00 PM. I played at intervals for the 7 hours in order not to strain myself too much all because I had the time to play more.

I can play 6 hours in a day but that's going to in 2 hours different intervals till the day is over. There's no way I would put myself through the stress of playing for 6 hours straight.

He's a lucky man to have a sister that cooks for him constantly - I always have to prepare my own food. Besides, I can guarantee it's made properly - the last time I went to some chick's house for her to cook for me, she was cleaning the chicken with head and shoulders shampoo XD.

I think this more of a general discussion sort of topic. I'll finish this post then move it. Discord started out as an alternative to in-game chat services on PC like Teamspeak, only difference is that Discord is way, way better. Easer to use, more customizable and can be used on other devices such as phones and tablets, meaning console gamers could get involved with cross-platform titles, for example. Discord developed over the years to also serve as a kind of social media platform, but is still suits it's original purpose very well.

Chromium is an open source version of Google Chrome. It's basically a base version of Chrome for people to develop further and add thier own features and so on. For regular internet use, I see no good reason to use Chromium instead of regular Google Chrome.

These days, you can use just about any controller on a PC. I even saw an article just today that confirms Sony now make Dualsense controller updates available for PC players without needing a PS5 console. Not that your wrong @Heatman, far from it. Xbox controllers have been the accept default for gamepads on PC for quite some time, so a lot of games, especially games that are a little older. Many games never had PlayStation button prompt graphics added to them at all, whilst using a PS4 or PS5 controller will work just fine, it's not without it's problems. Back to original topic. The best thing that Xbox and (Windows) PC's share is indeed your Microsoft account, making a lot Xbox games you bought digitally available on your PC as well. And then there is Gamepass. It's been discussed a lot on the forum, so I won't go into the details, but It really the best thing about the Xbox brand right now.
