I want to congratulate and thank each of you for contributing to 150,000 posts on VGR forum! This is a huge milestone, and it is hard to believe we accomplished it so soon after we hit 100,000 posts late last year. I am so proud not only of how active our community is, but how much quality and consistency we have maintained over the years. While VGR’s membership has grown, we retain a tight-knit core of dedicated members who continue to engage in compelling, thoughtful dialogue, and who support each other as part of an inclusive and welcoming community. Thank you all again for all you have done to make VGR forum a top destination for discussing video games online. I think male and female could be friends but it's going to be difficult especially when you're in a relationship and the fact people tend to get jaleous pretty fast. I was going to post something similar, one of my best friends is female she is a couple of years younger then me and we used to go hiking together all the time. The first thing she told me when we met is that she was into women. I never made a problem of that why would i and at the time i had no interest in a relationship at all and i was more interested in having a hiking buddy anyway. We've been on hiking trips together were it was just to two of us for a week or two, i've seen her naked multiple times, we slept in the same bed more times then i can count and not once has it crossed my mind to have sex with her for the simple reason i value friendship over a relationship. Whilst what @The Blackangel said is true, that discussions on cryptocurrency is technically allowed here, may I still suggest that you bring this conversation to the Official Cryptocurrency Thread anyway? There's no need to shove this in front of the rest of forum who are really not interested in hearing about it. Just because bringing up crypto here is not against the rules, that doesn't make it a good or worthwhile motivation to do so. The aforementioned official crypto thread is there for a reason, so please use it.

You're correct, that's the reason for proofreading, maybe I was little in a haste not to proofread that one. At times, you'll proofread and still make mistake, that's to show, humans aren't perfect. What you said is right, had it been i wrote it in full, even if their is typo in there, it would've been understood better than the error strained abbreviated one.

I've hit burnout many times. Like all of you, I love gaming. But there have been times where the mere thought of playing a video game of any kind, in any format, was enough to make me want to puke. For times like that, the only thing you can really do, is take a break and wait it out.

@Aniekwe is absolutely correct. While there is a thread that is only for discussions of cryptocurrency, in a general chat thread, it's fine. If you wanted to turn all the conversations to cryptocurrency, then you would need to use the other thread. Otherwise, talk about whatever you want. However if it's something you wouldn't want your children to see, then think about whether you really want to post such a message.

Somebody has actually created a Diablo Immortal Look Box Simulator using the actual odds programmed into the game so people can see how much they would need to spend to actually get all the 5/5 Legendary Gems they would need to maximise thier gear in the end game. Remember, you need 6 5/5 gems as there a six slots to put them in EDIT: I got very lucky it seams at first and bagged my first 5/5 gem after just 5 spins spending what would have been $125 ($25 a spin). Even that is still extortionate for a single gem, but moving on. My luck still seems to be holding out somewhat as gen two game at 38 spins and $950. This is actually a hell of a lot more fortunate than most people as far as I can tell. Gem 3 at 186 spins and $4650 Gem 4 at 260 spins and $6500. I feel like I'm getting lucky, here. Gem 5 at 474 spins. $11850. Then my last and 6th gem at just 130 additional spins. Money spent at a grand total of $12175. This has got to go down as one of the luckiest runs. People have spend more that that in real life to get just one 5/5 gem. but, the results are what the are.

I tend to fast on from Friday evening to Saturday evening so I don't play any games during that time as fasting saps a lot of my energy. Sometimes, I don't play any games on Saturday at all.

I do think Take 2 and Microsoft could very well be in the running for EA but considering the conditions of the merger, I can see why most companies would hesitate to agree to such ridiculous terms.

Frostpunk's good once you get to grips with it. It takes some practice, maintaining people's happiness with the energy required to keep the different buildings running. Like a lot of city management games it's easy to lose control; one moment you think it's safe to expand and all of a sudden it becomes difficult to provide the energy required to keep your people from migrating or dying of cold. I recommend it. It's one of the few RTS that didn't have much of a competitive scene, and its one meta (Warthog Rush) got tiring so quickly that the playerbase dropped it. As for its sequel, I couldn't speak to that but I hear it's everything the first game does but better. I didn't realise C&C was underappreciated, I've always heard it's the RTS to play. Still, you appear to be more knowledgeable about it than me. RTS isn't really my thing I'm afraid.

This has to be in contest for post of the year ah @Justin11 and his infinite wisdom 😄 But you're right tough, when i was your age i also woulden't have minded dating a 35-40 year old milf with fake tits. If i was single i woulden't mind dating a woman that is 5-10 years older, the only downside is when you are getting older is that age can become an issue. Don't know about how much younger i would go, maybe 5 at most as I just don't want to date a chick that is addicted to her phone. I'm already in that boomer territory so it woulden't work out anyway if i would go with any younger.

Mortal Kombat series is one fighting game the developers got right when it came out and they still continued with making it better. Take a look at how good MK 11 has been. It's even why the movie adaptation of the game was very good too.

All the time, it's why I frequently critique games for being too long. Especially in today's market, too many games go for too long without helping realise the developers' artistic vision, be it publisher pressure to monetise and market it, or the lack of an editor/compromise with an editor who will make the necessary calls to trim it down to its best parts. That's usually single-player games though. Multiplayer games like World of Warcraft have me take huge breaks because I have the time to do the content, but it's 'gated', meaning the game will not let me progress even though I'm available to do it. For all this "always online" business, games sure want me to be online less and less. I wish I could tell you when gameplay took a backseat for retention, but I fear that goes back further than I'd like it to (see arcade machines).

Right now, people can edit thier own posts for 10 minutes after originally posting it. I would personally say that is sufficient for the vast majority of posts that are made on this forum. What people really should do it proof read thier posts before sending them to give you all the time you might need to look for and correct errors. I understand what you're saying, especially with regard to longer posts. I also must confess I'm as bad anyone for only finding mistakes after I've posted something, but in the end what I should have done was look harder for those errors before posting it, and that's a responsibility everyone has. If we extended that limit (especially to the kind of lengths you desire like above 15 minutes), we would invite abuse to the system like somebody changing thier statement to better argue against a point that was made after thier original post. It's much a better habit to have a good look through your post before sending it, and a shorter edit window I believe helps encourage that behaviour. If it were to change, I maybe would be happy with it at 15 munities as opposed to 10, but anything longer than that and it it could cause more problems than it solves and it wouldn't solve this problem described in this thread as the so called "post farmers" don't care enough about thier posts to re-read and correct them. Not in a 10 minute long edit window, not in a hour long edit window, it would change nothing.
