  1. Hi. I'm 56 yrs old and I enjoy gaming. It's pretty much all I do now when I'm not working. My top two favorite games are Fortnite and Animal Crossing New Horizons. I also play Kirby and the Forgotten Lands and I have several Lego games. I only have the Nintendo Switch so that's the only games I can play. It's just something to pass the time.

  2. Well I thought consoles with NFT options was bad, now I hear that Gamestop is getting into the NFT game. I guess any reason to try and keep this company afloat as much as possible. But I don't see NFTs being the saviour they hope for. I don't see this succeeding at all, especially with how things are going with Gamestop. To me it sounds like a last ditch effort to make money for them. Supposedly it will allow you to connect your digital wallets and buy/sell NFT style items. And I guess gaming will be added to the mix at some point. Read more here - https://www.cnbc.com/2022/07/11/gamestop-launches-nft-marketplace-as-it-hunts-for-growth-online.html Think it's a dumb move? Will Gamestop fail yet again?

  3. I'm definitely looking up this one as I can't believe they had an educational Rayman game. I know about the Mario one as well but Mario has a game in almost every genre of gaming so it's not that big of a surprise to me.

    Play vs watch

My preferred foot is left also but I usually play on the right wing as I do like to cut in and shoot. The best thing about it is that I can cross, pass, shoot and dribble with my right foot almost as well as with my left so it makes me very unpredictable. I can play every attacking position, in central midfield and even as a wingback because I have huge amounts of stamina and love bombing up and down the flank.

  5. The thing is Mourinho has been proven right in the end because the same players are partially responsible for the condition which Man United is in. I'm not Mou's biggest fan but a lot of what he says tends to come to pass somewhere down the line because those same Man United players threw Ole under the bus as well.

  6. Trust me, he's the most entertaining thing about watching Man United. He even headbutted Ronaldo and caught Pogba in the face with his foot. and

  7. To be fair, he should've turned down going back to Man United the second time because they were never going to build a team around him. Most of their Marquee signings over the past 10 years have failed miserably at Man United, not just Pogba. Another thing is Pogba was upfront about wanting a new challenge because they promised him plenty of trophies, surround him with quality players and competing for the league but Man United hasn't managed that at all.

  9. I still play Double Dribble on NES. I also play NCAA Basketball on SNES. I play hockey on Atari 2600 and NES. Aside from those few, I don't play sports games. They just don't appeal to me. But those are classics, so all is forgiven. Granted I have a ton of sports games for my Atari 2600, but I just haven't really gotten around to playing the majority of them yet.

  10. RDR2 by far. The actors put so much into the game's dialogue, and didn't mince words. There's emotion, inflection, and passion in their voices from the start of the game. It's the absolute best I have ever seen. Better than cartoons, movies, and general narration from any source. Roger Clark was the best actor in the entire game.

  11. I learned that in the electronics class that I took more than 20 years ago. The voltage hurts, but the amps kill. I have no idea how many amps the tazer has, but to push out that much voltage, it has to be higher than most. The typical voltage of amps around here is 20,000-50,000 on average. Anything in the millions (or in my case hundreds of millions) is unheard of. I've felt the 220v at homes, and believe me, with that kind of power it was a shocking experience. I'll have to look into it and see if I can find the amp count on it. If I do, I'll post it. Otherwise it will remain in the realm of speculation.

  12. I always try to avoid those subjects unless I'm with someone I would trust. Then we are able to have a civil conversation. Otherwise, I stay away from either unless it's something that either affects me personally, or it's something extremely serious. Something that happened to me once was this: When I was in my early 20's (I'm 40 now) I worked at a Pizza Hut in a relatively small town. There was another girl there that was so overchristianized it was stomach churning. I am Satanic (NOT A DEVIL WORSHIPER. BIG DIFFERENCE). The moment she heard the word "Satanic" she went nuts. Every time we worked together she harassed me nonstop through my entire shift about religion. It finally got to the point that I filed a formal complaint with the manager about her harassment, but that went nowhere. So she then upped her intolerance. She started demanding that I go to church with her. I tried to throw her off by telling her she had to go to a black mass with me first and receive a Satanic baptism. She lost her shit on that. There was no black mass that I would take her to, I just wanted to shut her up. That didn't work. Finally since the managers refused to do anything about the harassment, I made a deal with her. That if I went with her ONE time, that she would never speak to me again, unless it was work related. She would never speak of religion again, and leave me alone. She agreed. So she picked me up bright and early on a Sunday. She drove to her church, and we both got out. As soon as she went in, I walked over to a friends house. The next time she saw me at work she, was, pissed. She went off on me, saying I lied to her about going to church. I told her that I never lied. She reiterated that I did. I looked her in the eye, and said "You wanted me to go to church. You picked me up and drove me there. I got out of the car and left. You never specified a specific activity or length of time. I held up my end of the bargain. So unless you want to be outed as a two faced liar you will leave me the hell alone." She was so pissed off she was red in the face. But she knew she couldn't argue what I said, because she knew I was right. She never bothered me again. I was known as an evil genius from then on in that town, that you had to be VERY specific with. I still have that reputation to this day.

  13. I'm the silent type when I'm around other people. I'm not comfortable in social situations, especially at other people's homes. I feel like I wear out my welcome in the first 5 minutes. I'm severely socially awkward. I may come off as strong and witty (or so I'm told) here at the forum. But if you were to meet me IRL, you would see something different. I'll never deny my values or convictions, no matter how uncomfortable it gets for everyone around. But aside from that, you won't really get a whole lot out of me. A lot of people (extroverts mainly) see that as being rude, but I don't give half a shit. You do you, I'll do me. If you still have a problem with that, would you like to get tazed or tazed? I own a 150,000,000 volt tazer. And that's not a typo. It's 150 million volts. There's a warning that came with it to never hold it on anyone for more than 2 seconds. just hit and draw back. Holding it on someone will cause permanent damage, and could potentially even be lethal. People also look down on that. "Why do you need one that powerful? Why are you trying to kill someone? Why don't you just punch them? Why don't you...." AH FUCK YOU. It's my life and none of your concern. So piss off or you can find out firsthand exactly how 150,000,000 volts feels.

  15. NFTs got a bad rep since it was a bubble that made it popular and morons bought ape images and made them "worth" millions. But now you start seeing companies like Ubisoft saying that they're decommissioning an entire lineup of games so even if you dropped $60 2-3 years ago you can't play it anymore after September.

  20. In real life, it's even hard to get one who's even levelheaded enough to try and understand your own point of view with regards to politics or religion down here. Everything for them goes to the extreme and I'm not psychologically read for that kind of discussion because it's not going to yield much to me or even the person.

  21. Over the years I have realised that people are so over their head in what they think is right and not even a good lay out of points could change their minds, they could only pretend to agree to what you are saying in times when the majority are opposing them but deep in their hearts they still hold their own opinions at high regard. Please this doesn't any way suggests a known fact but I am only speaking from my personal encounters with some people and how I have observed a certain behavioural trait. So when I am caught in an unfortunate situation of arguments I don't really try to convince you I just state my points and if you don't accept I just let it be. Unless otherwise the scenerios requires I butress further to convince a judge or someone who is meant to approve my contract.

  22. I've already mentioned Harvester in another thread, which has seemingly caused permanent damage to the site's two moderators' sanity so I'll avoid that nominating that one. @Yaramaki's suggestions are some of my favourites here, and some of them I really wanted to play (Mister Mosquito was one I desperately wanted but was difficult to find in my corner of the country), and the briefly mentioned Deadly Premonition is one of the few survival(?) horror games I can withstand even if I don't get on with its controls. Similarly to @killamch89's nomination of Sonic's Schoolhouse, there was Rayman Junior, a game designed to help improve Maths and English. It wasn't particularly advanced and the platforming was minimal, but it was decent enough to fool me into enjoying myself. Of all the mascots... I think my only unique choice would be Doshin the Giant. It's a game where you play as a giant yellow god with a outward belly button, who can mould the world around them for the betterment of their worshippers. If Doshin upsets the people enough, he turns into Jashin and can perform evil deeds such as breathing fire. It was an unusual god game and settlement sim to say the least but it does possess a charm few other games of its ilk do.

Rats, ever since i read @The Blackangel story as why she liked rats so much it moved me, that I started seeing rats completly different instead of vermin/pests what they are usually called. thanks to or blame it on her whatever you want, i now look at what Rats can be good for and there is quite a few positive things, i started by removing all the traps in my garden a few weeks ago and leave them be.
