  1. I looked up the sales for Days Gone, and according to the director, it was close to 9 million copies sold, which I guess isn't too bad. Another game on the Sony side was Ghost of Tsushima, whish I guess sold 8 million in a year and that game was praised left and right. So maybe the OP does have a point.

  2. Agreed and to top it all off - my cable bill used to cost way more and I still couldn't watch certain channels without paying extra...

  3. When I first started gaming on console, it took effort for my brain to adapt to each new game I played. But by now, it is almost effortless. Have you noticed this for yourself?

  4. I gotta give props to the people who make these wild creations in Minecraft, especially taking 6 years of their life to make something such as this. This person decided to make an as close as possible replica of Hogwarts as they could. The creator used the likes of video footage of the movies and photos as well. 5. This is my very first time of hearing about the so called True Doom Experience. I'm very sure that it doesn't hold much water because if it did, it's something that's going to trend very well online and I would have easily come across it in the Discord channel I'm in.

  6. There's a lot of such hilarious scripts in GTA V especially with the character of Trevor. He was a pure lit comedy in the game.

  7. Well it's Pong.... I don't think I'd have much more to say about it.

  8. Are you sure the rats didn't send a threatening email to those companies that made rat poison? I'd say put the bird in the cage...Birds always like to tug on your ears or start pecking you when they want attention. In terms of dogs, it does depend on the personality of the dog. My female dog will just sit quietly in the corner and only get up and move when I start moving - my male dog on the other hand, he won't stop distracting me when I'm on my computer doing anything.

  9. It's probably just a case of an arcade game moving to consoles being a bad idea. If they don't change anything, then of course it's going to be short. Arcade games to my knowledge are usually made tough so you have to keep spending quarters. So my guess is that the game is a lot shorter than a traditional game, because it wasn't meant to be played on console where you can constantly re-play it. Is it a port of an actual arcade game? Because if so, it would make sense as to why it's shorter.

  10. I quit watching tv years ago. I was tired of paying a cable bill for crap I was turning off. I have Hulu+LiveTV with ads but I can choose my content. I like it better and it's only $77 something a month. There's nothing of interest on tv for me anymore. Especially all that reality crap. I get enough of that IRL.

  11. Speaking only for myself but yes modern Rockstar/take 2 are especially greedy. And yes I'd put them in the same category as EA as far as being greedy. No corporation is your friend, but they're both especially greedy. With Sony pulling this crap I have to add them to the really greedy category also.

  12. I fell in love deeply with Square Enix for the work they did with their Final Fantasy franchise. They knew that also very well with how they paid more effort in developing Final Fantasy 7 Remake. Even with all the crap they have been doing of late, they still managed to get that one right. It begs the question if they were doing all that on purpose with their other games?

  13. It's completely not going to work for blind gamers in my opinion. Yes, they have their voice but without their sight, playing video games will be an impossible task for them to get into even with the voice tech for a player. It's only those that are handicap in their arms that are going to get a relief.

  14. It's been noticeable for quite some time now. They're going down the modern Rockstar route and being very greedy and anti-consumer.

  15. Yeah - I think we did discuss this in another thread if I remember correctly. Square Enix like a lot of other formerly great developers have chosen greed over satisfying their core audience and a decision that will soon come back to haunt them.

  16. Milestone crapped out 5 supercross games since 2018 so i guess it's pretty much alive. No idea if these are any good i only played milestone their Mxgp and ride series in the past and since it's coming from milestone i'd say it's going to be mediocre at best, their games are not bad but they are not good either like with any games that leans towards a more niche sport if your are a fan of the sport i'm sure there is a lot to love. I don't know how big supercross still is in the Us and since it's pretty much a Usa only afair it keeps suprising me they keep putting this out even physical in europe. Lol only excuse i can come up is that i'm sucker who can't leave a bargain behind πŸ˜… Believe it or not but i'm actually going to play it, wheter it's worth 22 euros i'm not sure , considering the fact it's so cheap 3 months after it's release doesen't really mean anything it's going to be anything good but i had to think about @Justin11 who was so exited this game came out and judging by his recent posts he still seems to be enjoying it very much.

  17. lol, I've seen many of these make the rounds before... πŸ·πŸ– also when I first opened the thread, I couldn't tell if this was naive reposting, or blatant satire. 🀣 yeah, most of the pictures are fake, I've seen most of the debunking... although, I take everything I read with a grain of salt, and I believe that there's always a chance of sci-fi and fiction plots actually happening somewhere in real life beneath our very noses... πŸ‘ƒπŸ‘€ But I don't take it too far. πŸ˜‰ ~~ ~~ πŸ‘πŸ‘ƒπŸ‘ ___πŸ‘„ BUT SERIOUSLY... IS THIS INTENTIONAL SATIRE OR NOT? HAHA.🀣

  18. Can't say i'm really suprised by this move, like it wouldn't be suprising if microsoft would slash 50 bucks of the series x that would be a brilliant move from microsoft their part. The price increase is a logical move but that doesn't mean i agree with it. If you look around you everithing got more expensive these past few years ranging from food, fuel, electricity, gas,etc if you consider the rising costs of all that, it's not suprising that the manufactor costs of the ps5 is increased by quite a bit. It's a dick move i'll give you that but a logical one and probably a move that was necesary if you consider the rising costs of something like electricity needed to produce a console.

  19. Another deal breaker is games with drm or require you to always be online. Especially if it's a single player game. I never understood why drm is a thing. I know it's meant to stop people from sharing and downloading these games for free. But I think it hurts more than anything. Because when that games servers are shut down, you can't play it. So I never liked drm and stuff like it.

  20. It just doesn't make sense for video games. It kinda is counter-intuitive, because if you want to teach people about climate change, you probably wouldn't use something like video games because it in turn is bad for climate change. Think about tech in general. Any piece of tech we use, puts off pollution and other junk out into our atmosphere. Like I said before, maybe to teach people, but you'd be better off teaching them the normal way instead of a game, at least imo.

  23. The dogs do a lot. My pitbull and smallest chihuahua climb up on me and take a nap. The rats like to climb around on the keyboard if I'm at the computer. One of them accidentally sent an email when I wasn't watching. It was hilarious. The bird on the other hand, attacks my fingers when I'm gaming. She absolutely HATES when I game. So I have to choose to either game, or hold the bird.

  24. I want to say The Ultimate Doom, since that was the first one I played all the way through, but technically, it was Doom 2016. When I was younger my dad got Doom 2016 and was a huge Doom buff, so he wanted me to give it a try (not sure what he was thinking). I played through the opening section of the game, and was subsequently scarred for life by the satanic imagery, dismembered corpses, and copious amounts of blood. My dad realized his error after I threw up upon ripping the heart out of the gore nest in the first arena.

  25. I played DOOM eternal for most part of 2020 and I would categorically state that the levels in the game only affect your game play depending on how good you are at the game. If you are just getting into the game the much easier levels would still give you as much satisfaction with just enough violence. Just as for any other game as you get better at the game there is always this desire to play on much difficult levels and the higher you go the more the game play becomes intense to match your skill. Every other factors is just hype to make the game sell more and faster.

  26. I always take whatever Gamersβ„’ say is the "true" anything with a pinch of salt (read: utter contempt). I've seen too many people with unwashed arses and ill-fitting clothes tell me what is true or not, and quite frankly I don't care for being told what "true gamers" do. My ideal experience is playing on Easy, mowing through the ranks of the unholy as a supersoldier. If that's wrong, I don't want to be right. Having said that, I don't begrudge anyone for playing on Hard mode and above: it's supposed to be set in Hell after all, and what better way to experience that than to use the zippy movement and bunnyhopping to evade overwhelming firepower? It's a shame too many people however begrudge me for liking the opposite end of the difficulty spectrum. The 'true' experience is what you like. Whether others agree, including the developers, is another matter entirely.
