  1. Your confusion is completely understandable. And thank you for not holding your tongue, as many do. What we're looking for is members wanting to add to the forum, not their personal numbers. What many don't realize is that posting numbers don't relate to popularity. Members who have posted for years now have gotten a feel for this place, and know how things work. Thus their posts are for the most part on topic and educating. Sure there are places to post goofy and light hearted fun, and that's always welcome in the correct sub-forum. If you look at the leader boards, you will see many people leading in different categories. But just because they are leading in the category doesn't mean that every post they have made was worth making. So post as much as you want. We don't mean machine gun posting. But post when and where you feel you can add to the discussion. If you have any questions you can always PM me, or @Shagger and @DC if you prefer. Part of our job is helping members when they need it.

  2. Yeah same here, buying bottled water is such a waste of money imo. I do buy sparkling water during the summer but i don't really have a favourite so i usually buy the cheapest one i can find in stores because water is water and if you are realy thirsty any water tastes good.

  3. Hi, Thank you for the replies and welcoming me to the forum. Turns out I was looking at the wrong genre. I looked into hack and slash and found 2 games that looked like they would be good for me: Dragons Dogma: Dark Arisen and God of War. I really appreciate it.

    Horror Movies

Do you watch horror movies? I enjoy the good ones quite a bit. Horror can be very fun, when it's not stupid.

  5. My answer is capital NO. If you doubt, go ask PSG, if their blockbuster spending spree made huge impact in their top ambition which to win the champions league since the Qatari owner took over? The answer remains No. Their is no doubt, money can build great team, when injected wisely, you don't just buy big names, because you feel they can transform the team with immediate effect. Such backfires, the best, is building from academy players, nurturing them with the best training facilities/equipments to aid their development faster. Such made Barcelona huge success in the past, their famed 'La Masia Academy really helped them to achieve the greatest benchmark in the history of the game, winning unprecedented sextape of trophies two times, which made them the first to win it in European football, including numerous other honours. Bayern Munich, Arsenal, Liverpool, Ajax etc, don't rely on already made players, they build their stars from the academy setup. Ever since Barcelona shifted their attention away from their famed academy 'La masia' success at the highest level eluded them. Because they went for already made players who aren't acquainted into their Tiki-Taka system of football, which cost them huge amount of money and sending them into bankruptcy with lots of debts to clear. Building your team around potential stars is the best, and you can recruit them from the youth form, which is from the academy. You wouldn't buy every good talent with money that can adjust to the brand of football the team posses. It takes time to build up, success doesn't come immediately in football. I don't believe in spending huge amount of money to buy already made players, instead, use the money to scout for young talents and grow them to become super stars, they can become more successful due to the chemistry/connection within the team.

  6. First off, never blindly trust what a YouTuber says, you need to look at the sources and do a little research. A quick summery for everyone to describe precisely what has happened. The Game Rating and Administration Committee of Korea has rated something named Silent Hill: The Sort Message. I cant read Korean, so can't tell what the details are apart from the date (knowing what the rating is would actually be helpful, but alas, I don't know.). The company that applied for the rating is Uniana (Links to thier English website), a company best known for the production of arcade machines often under licence from Konami to use thier franchises (such as Dance Dance Revolution). Yes, that's right, arcade machines. OK, the did also publish some games for Komani in Korea and were were also responsible for publishing eFootball, but that's hardly a reason to get exited given how much of a disaster that was. @Candy Stick, you and the Silent Hill fanbase have got to get a grip. This Silent Hill: The Sort Message could be anything. It could be an Arcade, it could be mobile game, it could be a tech demo, anything that isn't a full boar, full roar Silent Hill. I personally don't see even Konami leaving the publishing of a Main Silent Hill release in the hands of a subsidiary, although it is possible that Uniana are just handling the publishing locally in Korea. So it is still possible that this is a proper, new Silent Hill, but I doubt it. How many times are people going to have to say it. Believe nothing unless it comes from the horses mouth. Stop doing this to yourself, man. Anyway, here is the article from Gematsu that I believe was on of the first places to report the story. Another link form VG247 that goes into a little more detail.

    Last Game Played

I played Two Point Hospital and felt the same way. Eventually it just became too tedious to play so I stopped. And at one point I felt like what I was doing wasn't enough, yet I was doing everything right.

    General Gaming Discussion

I agree, I consider a game to be worth buying when it's worth the price regardless of who developed/published it. Dont get wrong, there are good reasons to not support certain companies, but game to game, they should be considered on their own merits. Besides, it's not like the indie scene doesn't have its fair share of scum working in it.

  9. You can post news relevant to Debate, Religion, and Politics within that sub forum. Otherwise, all news would be categorized under General Chat as you did with the Queen is dead thread. Just use your best judgment.

  10. Too bad, that's the kind of water I'm talking about, which isn't good, same occurs here in my country. They call it pure water', but when you look closely to the water, you'll see it being unpurified, not good for drinking. That's why I prefer making a drinking water for myself, by boiling it and removing the hardness in the water and make it a good water for drinking.

  11. You talking about your local restaurants right? here in my locality food is too expensive, unless you're either of Jeff or Elon, before you can comfortably spend money on those restaurants to eat quality food. As a salary earner, I can't continue warning down my earnings on those expensive dishes, unless I want to trek for life.

  12. I use both. These days I probably use my PC more for movies and TV than my actual TV. Main reason why is because I'm on it more often for work and hanging out. I watch movies almost every night with my friends, otherwise I'm gaming.

  13. First PC I remember owning was a commodore 64. My parents got it used from a yard sale many years ago. The first ever PC I got was back in early 2001 I think. Just a standard windows 95 PC, yes 95. Even though 98 was out forever by that point. We got it from a magazine or something like Fingerhut.

  14. Sometimes the difference lies in the pipes in someone's home, sometimes it depends on what goes on at the water treatment plant, and maybe the city water itself. I prefer bottled over tap but can't afford it. Some tap water isn't drinkable. Mine is pretty reasonable. I would drink the tap water before I would the Dasani.

  18. I tend to stay away from popcorn because I don't like the skin of the nut within the popcorn (I don't know what it's called). It makes me cough and just feels unpleasant. I would usually just buy a hotdog bun or spicy potato chips for movie theater snacks, maybe some M&M's to spice things up.

  20. My smartphone, definitely, but it's beaten by my usage of my PC, which I use very often daily. I haven't used my TV in a long time, but that might change from now on, now than I'm back to binging TV shows.

  21. It was probably around 1999 or 2001, when the Internet has finally resembled the kind we're familiar with today with Google and stuff. Online messengers like MSN Messenger and AIM were still a thing back then and I'd use them to chat with people from a Digimon forum I joined. It was an Acer PC, I think. I was very young at the time, just 9 years old in '99, so I couldn't quite remember the details. My monitor was big though, just a bit smaller than a CRT TV. My monitors would only get bigger down the years after I bought a 27 inch iMac, but it's now shrunk to a mid-sized monitor now on my custom PC.

  22. I do this quite often because my gaming chair setup is just a lot more comfortable than my 4K mounted TV setup. The TV's tilted in a way that I couldn't relax as comfortably. Still, I try to watch movies on my TV as often as I can because it's 4K after all, and I want my movie experience to have that kind of awesome visuals.

  23. We have small, large, and jumbo size bottles of Fiji here. 500ml, 1 liter, and 1½ liter. A hell of the water here in the states is too toxic to drink, and I'm not talking about Flint. Their water is deadly, whereas with the rest of the country, it's just too toxic to drink. It's fine to do things like shower and do laundry. But it's too dangerous to drink it. It was somewhat like that for me. The water at home was enough to make you sick just from the taste alone. But only a couple miles away at my grandmas house, the water tasted amazing. And we were on the same lines. I'll never understand what the hell the damn difference was, but I guess it's a moot point these days.

  24. I use my PC to play more games instead of watching movies. I like to go to the cinemas to see some movies by the way. That is one of the ways that I get to enjoy most movies that I desire to watch. I feel the TV is now becoming a means where I see most football games.

    Blackout Bingo

Blackout Bingo is a cool game that one can play during some calm nights. You shouldn't expect to earn real money on it as the possibility is very slim.

  26. I remember it was a Packard Bell PC from I think around 1996-1997. I have no idea now what the specs were, but it was a Windows 95 OS, it made a clicking sound and had a little light flash to indicate the CPU was doing something (A weird feature now that I think about it.) and loved it. I fell in love with PC gaming on that think with Dungeon Keeper, Decent, Screamer and Magic Carpet 2. I still play these games today.

  27. That's a wise choice, plus, you can make something like a casserole and have it last for days. Maybe at least 3-4 days. Healthy and affordable. McDonald's is good the first time around. But warming it up for later...not so good. Taco Bell, yes. Just don't microwave the nachos (soft).

  28. I'm curious to know exactly what you mean by "pure water". I wouldn't blame anyone for thinking that pure, no additives, PH neutral, biotic free H₂O is the best water to drink, but this couldn't be further from the truth. You can get this type of water through distillation or a condenser, the type of mechanism often found in de-humidifiers. If you have one of these you might have noticed that there is usually a warning label that sates that the water collected in the reservoir is not suitable for drinking and with good reason, it's DISCUSTING! The truth is good drinking water is supposed to be slightly acidic because the saliva in your mouth is slightly alkaline, the "impurities" are sources of nurturance such as minerals and vitamins and many of the bacteria that breed naturally naturally in drinking water are pro-biotec and aid digestion. Boiling water the allowing to cool is fine but hope for your sake your not drinking condensed "pure" water, it's not doing you any good whatsoever

  30. The Blu-ray disc association are the patent holders of licensing blu-ray so let it be clear that Sony isn't the sole patent holder of the blu-ray technology, was going to react to this yesterday but it probably slipped my mind and got sidetracked along the way. It's doubtfull that sony alone would even be able to provoke microsoft their license for putting their games on blu-ray discs, besides if it were to happen nothing a big sack of cash can't solve. No with Physical media sales in decline they aren't going to stop microsoft from putting their games on blu-ray and grab whatever money they can get.

  31. Yeah we did something similar when we first moved here.. put tap water in a glass and watched it overnight. By morning, we saw some little specky-specks floating on top. They were brown and orange. 🤢
