Yeah standard jewel cases for CDs were great. The manual acting as the cover art was what made them better imo. That and how easier they were to store. They still had issues where the tabs would break and they were notorious for damaging the manuals when removed. I think the best case was the DVD case, or better yet, the Sega Genesis cases. That is probably the standard you want for a good case.

Also, I maybe would add GTA V to the topic. I played the hell out of the GTA series and I remember how addictive they were. But I think I'm all played out on the series. It's partly why I haven't played it in years probably. Maybe when the new game comes out I'll revisit the series again.

They no longer support it with new updates and items? I figured they still did, unless they've since stopped supporting it outright?

A lot of these types of games become free to play at some point. I'm fine with it, especially if it's not a requirement to buy the base game. I don't see a problem if it becomes free to play where you can buy a battle pass like Fortnite. But I don't play destiny so I couldn't say for sure.

I like the bright and colorful skins. I wear this one where it's a woman but you have this skeleton mask. It had varying colors, but I went with this green/blue thing that changes colors. Other than that, I got a few spiderman skins, Darth Vader, movie venom, and so on. I have skins randomized from a selection i chose.

I did notice that pains were taken to show us that Joel drinks to cope with his PTSD. That could be relevant here. If you watch the last few minutes of this, there are some interesting insights into the closing scenes where Joel beats that guy to death, and some discussion about how Ellie and Joel's connection is dangerous for others. I think that could be one of the reasons for the song choice. Their relationship may exhilerate them, but it is also dangerous since ultimately there's nothing they won't do for each other. While the song is about drug use, it does capture that threshold between euphoria and danger. This is one of my favourite songs; I was so happy to see it here.

That's also all I know as well. More curious why Druckmann and Mazin chose Never Let Me Down Again, and whether the reference has more to do with Joel and Ellie or with Bill and Frank. I mean, the song is about drug use, but could perhaps be applicable to aspects of relationships that are intoxicating but dangerous.

That's what I thought too. The song is Never Let Me Down Again by Depeche Mode released in 1987 which suggests that it is a distress signal from Bill. From what I have heard the "Bill" episode plays out very differently from the game but I'm not exactly sure how other than that it seems like Frank is alive in this version.

I wish i had Superman, but I only started playing a few months ago. I got real excited when they had the DC heros drop but for the life of me couldn't figure out where Superman was. That's when I learned about the Battle Pass exclusives.

Yeah the movement was clunky for sure, I guess back then we didn't complain as much 😛 I doubt i'd be able to go back and play this game today.

This was a game I missed if I am honest but from what you describe, it sounds like a game I would have definitely played and would have had fun doing so. From the video, the movement looks like a game I would struggle with at first but with patience I would more than likely be able to get on with it.

That does sound pretty cool to hook up Oculus to PC. How does that even work though with a headset? Does it provide better graphics that way through the Oculus? Does the PC convert it's graphics into the headset? And of course sound improvement too right, if you have a speaker system? I think you are on to something that just might be top notch gaming experience.
