    Did you own a Kinect?

I actually just purchased a 360 last year from ebay with a Kinect. I wanted one back in the day when I first got my original Xbox 360 elite, but never had the money to get one. Honestly I mainly got it so I can play Sonic Free Riders, being the huge Sonic nerd that I am. I still need to get a copy of the game. I remember one of my friends back in the day had a Kinect and he brought it over to my apartment once. I can't recall what game we played though...

    Original Gamertag?

In my early teens, mine was trollbait666 because I used to troll a lot in online multiplayer games (still do). Just creating total chaos in-game and being called all kinds of names for consistently letting down my teammates.

  3. I agree - Most just want the fame and the clout for being a top player without actually developing the skill to earn such praise. I've never cheated in online multiplayer games and don't ever intend to.

    Games that just stop.

Shouldn't be allowed by principle and laws should be in place to prevent this kind of thing but the gaming industry's lack of regulation means companies can get away with a lot of devious practices.

  5. That may be the case Shagger. It will let me buy gold but I don't do online gaming. It gives the option to buy game pass but all the games show up to download or stream.I downloaded peggle 2 for the cloud and it works without the cloud as far as I can tell. I guess I have game pass and ea play games on it. Maybe the machine is hacked but I don't know. There is nothing listed for my subscriptions for game pass or EA play. I'm thinking someone hacked it somehow.

    Original Gamertag?

Mine was yoyo9348. Yoyo because I had a phase in my early teens where I though yo-yos were really cool (I knew like 3 tricks), 93 because it's the year I was born, and 48 because I guess I just thought it was a cool number. Makes perfect sense, I know.

  7. I was really into earning achievements and collecting gamerscore back in the 360 era, but not so much any more. If I've beaten a game and see that I am just missing a few, easy to get achievements to 100% the game, I might go back and do them, but not if it involves something I wouldn't consider fun.

  8. I got an Xbox Series X about two months ago, and for me the absolute biggest next gen thing is quick resume. I absolutely love being able to switch between the last couple of games I've been playing in a matter of seconds. I love my PS5 as well, but I really wish it had a similar feature.

  9. Physical media has been on the decline for over a decade as digital is more cost-effective and with the rising inflation, physical media will disappear completely outside of collectors such as yourself.

  10. It's just how life goes, Blockbuster used to be extremely popular in the early 2000s but by 2008, they're out of business because they failed to adapt their business strategy. Evolution is inevitable and those who don't adapt always get left behind.

  11. I'd argue that GTA 5 single-player needs some DLC as well because Rockstar hasn't made a single one for it. Instead, they chose to focus all their energy on the GTA online aspect with DLCs coming out almost every two months or so.

  12. I feel that what @Reality vs Adventure has described is muscle memory and getting to know game controls. As for weather gaming can help with memory issues, I can see it, but I don't know for sure. And even if if does, I doubt it's a better alternative to reading and metal exercise.

  13. I definitely spent the most time playing my Switch. Between playing Pokemon Legends Arceus and Pokemon Scarlet, I've spent hours playing both titles. I still need to get around to beating Legends Arceus, I don't know why I stopped playing it. I'm right at the end of the game too. :V I beat Scarlet but I still need to get Walking Wake and Iron Leaves and then my Pokedex will be completed until they come out with more Pokemon.

  14. We're seeing all kinds of collaborative projects between companies who are in very different industries. Fortnite is the prime example - I'm surprised that Fortnite hasn't made a Skittles event. To be fair, I've seen way worse in recent years. I totally agree that this is a bizarre collaboration and still can't make much sense of it but in today's environment, it's not as bizarre as say Cheetos Flaming Hot Ice Cream (it's actually real).

    Is E3 dead?

Yep and I'm honestly glad because E3 strayed away from a gamer-oriented conference to a gaming release trailer festival with little to no gameplay on most of the announced games. Plus I heard there's another conference which was created by a former member of the E3 team so that puts the nail in the coffin when it comes to E3.

  16. I hope they don't go down this route. I prefer physical media, but it is probably much cheaper to make all digital consoles. I am not only a gamer but I'm a collector and think it's cool to have physical media that you can see and fire up anytime you feel like it without needing a internet connection to play the game. (Unless the game makes you get online...)

  17. My main favorite thing about the Xbox line of consoles is the backwards compatibility function. Plus I love Game pass, and honestly I feel that PS+ isn't as good as Game Pass. I don't know if the Xbox line of consoles will be around next generation though, since Game Pass is available on PC now and it seems to have affected console sales. I do love that Microsoft allows it's users to use dev mode to add their own games and emulators to the system. (Though I think recently there was a legal issue with Nintendo on that and I'm not sure if emulators are still easily accessible on the Series X...)

    Too Many Games?

There's a few games in my library that I've had for more than a decade and still haven't gotten around to playing them even once. It's sad, but it's also true.
