People tend to think Mercury is the hottest planet in our solar system, but they’re wrong. Venus is the hottest planet due to a runaway greenhouse effect. Russia managed to land a probe on Venus that was able to and send a couple pics before it was destroyed by the Venusian atmosphere. The pressure is just short of being able to crush carbon into diamonds. It rains sulfuric acid, and the average temperature is 867°F (464°C). A day on Venus is longer than a year. It takes Venus longer to rotate once on its axis than to complete one orbit of the Sun. That's 243 Earth days to rotate once – the longest rotation of any planet in the Solar System – and only 224.7 Earth days to complete an orbit of the Sun. Although all planetary orbits are elliptical, Venus's orbit is currently the closest to circular, with an eccentricity of less than 0.01. Venus is unusual because it spins the opposite direction of Earth and most other planets. And its rotation is very slow. As already stated, it takes about 243 Earth days to spin around just once. Because it's so close to the Sun, a year goes by fast.
The outer planets, Neptune and Uranus, are not just gas giants, but ice giants. Im going to focus on Neptune for a minute. Neptune has the most extreme weather in our solar system, with giant storms, high winds, and constantly changing clouds. The innermost regions of Neptune's mantle may have temperatures of 12,140°F (6,727°C) and pressures 6 million times that of Earth's atmosphere. At these conditions, methane may decompose into diamond crystals that rain down like hailstones. Neptune's average temperature is -353°F (-214°C).
Uranus is different from all the other planets because it orbits the sun on its side. Uranus is the coldest planet in our solar system, with a mean temperature of -320°F (-195°C). Uranus is tilted on its axis by 98 degrees, which makes it appear to spin sideways. Scientists believe a large object knocked Uranus on its side long ago.
Pluto isn’t the only dwarf planet in our solar system. In the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter is an asteroid that is large enough that it’s rounded and qualifies as a dwarf planet. Its name is Ceres.
Should I continue, or does this satisfy the question?😈
