What was the dumbest purchase that you ever made? For me I bought The Blazing Sam cologne from Penhaligons. It's an AMAZING cologne but an expensive $295 purchase for 75ml.

All good. My perspective is always negatively received by my peers. I use to have a lot of platonic friends when I was younger and do agree that it is likely healthy to have friendships with the opposite sex but it's become more challenging for me as I have grown older and incurred more responsibilities. Perhaps this viewpoint is influenced by me being an introvert and also having trouble with superficial conversations and lack of continuity.

I want to congratulate and thank each of you for contributing to 150,000 posts on VGR forum! This is a huge milestone, and it is hard to believe we accomplished it so soon after we hit 100,000 posts late last year. I am so proud not only of how active our community is, but how much quality and consistency we have maintained over the years. While VGR’s membership has grown, we retain a tight-knit core of dedicated members who continue to engage in compelling, thoughtful dialogue, and who support each other as part of an inclusive and welcoming community. Does anyone here partake in what is classified as extreme sports? If yes, tell us about your involvement in the sport.

This is a controversial one. My view may be unpopular and/or improper but I believe it is unhealthy for a man to be platonic friends with females. It's typically disingenuous. I am at the point in my life where I do not have time or interest in entertaining women as friends. I pursue women romantically or not at all.

Summer has officially begun. So what are your favorite ways to cool off in the heat? Personally I enjoy swimming, cold water, and ice cream. Those are typically the most effective. I tend to go to the theatre, museums, and sports events a lot during the summer. Those indoor activities really make life more bearable during the hot summer hots.

Would you date someone much older or younger than you? What's the maximum age difference you would accept? I personally am willing to go 1 year older and up to 5 years younger.

Do you prefer to work with or without music? I typically find music distracting and prefer to work (and workout for that matter) without it. However, I know a lot of people enjoy listening to music, citing it helps them focus and makes the work hours go by faster. What do you guys think?

How does it look? I keep adjusting the sizing and placement. Trying to get it right.

I prefer working and living in quieter environments. I am introvert and do my best work alone. What about you guys?

What's your preference for communications? I prefer to make phone calls for just about everything, whether it be for family, friends, a significant other, or business. Texting conversations are often dragged out and it can take hours and/or multiple messages back and forth for a simple conversation to take place. When I was younger I enjoyed texting, now I absolutely dread it tbh.
