  1. No. Sorry. I meant to say it was a remake.
  2. I had it on the PS2 years ago. I only tried it once. But the films are really good. The old Thing movie was out in the 50s. The Kurt Russell version is a sequel, but it got a prequel in 2001.
  3. The site JoyFreak is complete ass now. I think I'll stop posting there, seeing as how Aries and company aren't interested in deleting the spam. RE9 not being announced at the 2024 Game Awards was quite meh too, to be honest. But Silent Hill 2 winning zero awards two nights was more surprising.
  4. It depends on the mindset of the individual, I suppose. I get bother with this Australian nutball, which is not really over gaming disagreements, but more so down to the guy just being plain creepy and ignorant. But I find some Resident Evil fanboys to be the worst gamers online for gaming chat, because they seem to enjoy everything Capcom produces, even with the hundreds of plot aspects that makes no sense. I've long suspected that Capcom just did all these remakes as a cash grab. The actual main timeline in RE has become a joke. It's way too convoluted. Then they bring back all the classic characters as one big unit, and make them all juiced up, with different viral infections somehow slowing down their ability to age as normal. LMAO. It just seems like having this ragtag group of heroes is making the franchise feel less scary. 🏋‍♀️ 🏋‍♂️ Capcom seems to love to bring in new viruses, and associated villains, then just conjure up some weird plot stuff for the next game. I thought RE8 in particular was rather silly. Vampires and werewolves is Universal or Hammer material in my view. Not something that reflects what RE is meant to concern itself with. 🤔 Ethan Winters was a good character, but the fact they hid his face was so dumb. I didn't see the point in doing that. They wanted you to "pretend" to be him, I guess. But even with that third person mode they threw in, you couldn't even rotate the camera to get a look at his face. LOL. It was kind of stupid introducing it then. As was the bosses so stupid too, like that puppet thing in the spooky house you enter across the bridge. It was so corny. Then that Heisenberg dude became a robot. LOL. RE7 was silly as well. But RE8 was just flat out weird. ☺️
  5. One of The Evil Within games had one very annoying boss battle with a creature called Laura. You had to lure her near fire to kill her, but she was up your ass all the time as you were having to move these switches in a basement, if I recall. It was annoying as there was a sequence you had to do first. So you dying meant doing it again. It did my nut in. All in all, though, I loved those games, and it's lame how Tango Gameworks ended earlier this year because of Microsoft. The second game ended with a teaser, but I really don't know if a third game will ever be produced now.
  6. Some solitaire game is one of the nominees. And I mean, I seen people rightfully mocking that on X. So, yeah. That should tell you all you need to know about the current state of modern day gaming. 🤭 Meanwhile, where is my Days Gone 2? You know? An IP that is actually worth a damn. 😜 However, every cloud had a silver lining. Naughty Dog has a new game in development. Oh, and RE9 may be announced by the end of the week.
  7. I find them suspenseful, because it keeps your interest. I especially like movies where someone is, for example, driving along a highway, being pursued by a crazy individual or group. Ones like Joy Ride and The Hitcher are great. Another one is Road Games with Jamie Lee Curtis. Or cannibal movies such as Wrong Turn.
  8. Brock knowing all the Nurse Joys and Officer Jennys, despite all looking like identical women to everyone else, is very amusing. 😅 I used to enjoy watching Pokèmon. It could get repetitive, though. Team Rocket would repeat their motto in practically every episode. That actually takes up 2 minutes of a whole 20 minutes show. 💬 😵
  9. Yes. Bloober Team proved themselves to me. This game looks interesting. I hope they make 'Born From a Wish' DLC, and do remakes of SH1 and 3, and 4. But I'm more fond of the idea of them creating original games, as remakes are, well, remakes. I'm split on the concept of remakes. I do like certain ones. But I would prefer an entirely new game.
  10. Please just hate the singer. Not the song. It's terrific. 😆
  11. Fatty foods. Refined cooking oils. High sugar and sodium dinners. Anything with artificial sweeteners too, or things with those dodgy E numbers.
  12. I try to eat more healthy due to having anxiety. "You are what you eat" is a totally true saying. However, quitting all refined carbs is a chore. You just get too used to certain unhealthy foods. You know? It's like somebody who loves takeaway food. You see a Chinese and there you get peckish.
  13. 2 plastic cups or bottles a day of cold brewed coffee. I seldomly drink hot coffee, but I do like it. I like Red Mountain.
  14. Well, I usually have a sandwich or a pasta dish, because Tesco has a meal deal option for about £4. It's a bit less with a loyalty card, where you earn points to redeem them. So it's £3.60 instead. They can be a bit pricey, though. Their dearest meal deal is £5 if you want to purchase their premium food. Sainsbury's or M&S is my favourite supermarket, followed by Morrisons.
  15. They should be banned, but then people would push for junk food and booze to be barred as well. It would increase illegal activity. But there's always going to be contraband.
  16. The Game Awards is on the 12th. 😋
  17. I'd say Buffy the Vampire Slayer, because it was fun to see a guest star be upgraded to a regular and have their name credited at the start of the episodes. The theme tune was just badass. But some episodes were poor. Others were just excellent. Spike was hilarious. He looked an awful lot like the singer Billy Idol, who is said to have "stole" Spike's image. 😜
  18. Yes. I would say the late Bridgette Andersen, who was so good in Nightmares. It's that weird 80's movie known for a segment where Emilio Estevez keeps obsessing over an arcade game. She is faced with a giant rat in the final part of the compendium. This film had really good visual effects. She died aged 21, sadly, from a heroin overdose.
  19. It depends on their ability or age. I know Stallone does his own stunts usually. For example, in the first Rambo movie, he jumps off a "cliff" to avoid gunfire from the deputy sheriff. But the actual so-called cliff I discovered from a filming check is really a rocky spot near the entrance to a Canadian national park. 🌲 He injured his ribs, so that cry of pain in the movie as he falls into the trees is really Sly, and so he isn't just acting. 😬 Peter Cushing did his own stunts in one of the Dracula movies. The 70's one with the hippies resurrecting the count in an abandoned church, if I recall correctly, where Cushing played two Van Helsing roles. Christopher Lee remarked that he was so good, despite how old he was. Typos are more evil than vampires. Apparently! 😈 ⌨️
  20. I like to go for a walk, but the temperature has dropped in recent weeks. However, it was more humid today for some reason. It didn't really feel very cold for a change.
