  1. Yeah, my friend's dad believed that if Dale hadn't crashed that day, he would still be racing (the statement was made in 2006).
  2. I would have forgiven it because this guy and I had been through a lot together.
  3. But what I'm talking about here is clearly a glitch.
  4. When my car is exiting pit road in a racing game and there's about 200 yards of pit road left and the car magically gets put back on track and wrecked. WTF. It almost ruined my day when it happened a few years ago.
  5. Farmville. Even back when I was on Facebook I wouldn't play it.
  6. I don't know that the aesthetics ever grew on me, but NASCAR '99. The gameplay was real good, except for the fact that you have to brake for the corners at Talladega, which you wouldn't have to do in real life. All in all I like the game.
  7. When my friend would rip my controller out of my hand and fling it 5 or 6 feet away, I'd be angry for a minute or two, but I'd usually forgive him. Sometimes I'd still win the game.
  8. I remember when I got the news in February 2001 that Dale Earnhardt had passed away. I sat in a chair in my bedroom (still near Boston at this point in time) and wondered if I wanted to keep watching motorsports. It was at that moment that I realized I cared too much about it to give up. There were so many good people left, busting their asses for my entertainment. I kept watching.
  9. I'm trying to think of what the easiest game I ever completed was. I'll have to get back to you on that one.
  10. It definitely takes patience.
  11. It stinks when you're watching a real race and one of your favorite drivers crashes out. I always try to have multiple favorites.
  12. Yeah, sometimes they'll get over it quickly, but is it really worth the risk.
  13. Yeah, I know. I'm being honest that I went about 265 levels in TM4.
  14. Me either. I still read all kinds of things about auto racing, even with all that I already know.
  15. Do you like to play at or near the performance point limit, or make it a challenge by bringing an under powered car? I like to be right at the performance point limit. I like to give a race my all.
  16. Plus your friends will lose a little respect for you.
  17. The session I was talking about was 21 years ago.
  18. Honestly, I would look more Metal if I didn't still live with my parents.
  19. I certainly will never play for that long of a stretch ever again.
  20. I like short tracks because I'm pretty good at them.
  21. I used to be a sore loser, but then I realized that my opponent may legitimately be better than me.
