I've completed GT1, GT2, the completion meter was busted, but GT3 and GT6. GT4 I found too hard and GT5 had things that took too long for my amount of spare time like the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Yeah, the final gen Evos were cool, as all Evos are. I'm more of a Chevy fan, but I haven't turned a competitive lap in my life, I wish I could say that I had.

I once heard a teenage boy say almost 25 years ago that if you buy the wrong console "your mother wants to be gay." So if you buy the wrong console that makes it your fault your mom is gay. My hometown was usually smarter than that, but the late '90's were apparently the nadir of Eastern Massachusetts. This was back when I was in New England.

Thanks for the advice. I'm actually a really hard core gearhead, I watch all kinds of motorsports, I've been playing GT since about 1999. I know about the out-in-out method if that's what you mean. You can also diamond corners, or you can just run the high line. Mostly I'll use the out-in-out method, but if I'm struggling I will search around. As for luck, I like to leave nothing to chance if I can. Some try to beat GT games with no mods, but in my mind that just leaves too much too chance for me to feel comfortable.

No, I meant Gran Turismo 4. The drafting battle with Skyline GTRs is hard. The Nurburgring mission where you use a Mercedes McLaren to chase down the leaders is also hard. I also find one of the Formula GT races to be extremely difficult.

It's a luxury. If I didn't have it, I would read more than usual and maybe take up drawing again.

Something I'll do to keep from shorting out consoles is play with one for five straight days, then switch to the other, or just take a five day break from gaming.

Maybe an item that is really useful, but hasn't been done yet.

You're going to hate me for saying this, but I've had the same PS2 since I believe 2001. I was a sophomore in high school when my parents got it for me.

I feel like my PS2 and PS3 games are realistic enough already. I already sometimes kick myself for mistakes.

I try to never play for more than two hours at a time.

I wish I could put in just two laps of effort and win $8,500 all the time, like in GT6 Clubman Cup Races.

I love when Youtube gamers discuss music history, or just life in general. That's what keeps me coming back to Kamikazegames.

If it's Twisted Metal, I run, hide and look for health. If it's NBA Live, I'll try real hard for steals, try to gain myself some possessions. In racing, I'll try more late breaking to try to catch the leader.

I've kind of given up on beating GT4, some of those driving missions seem impossible.

If I could change one thing it would be that I would read some books about basketball defensive strategy and that would make my NBA Live defenses better.

GT6. Really Gran Turismo in general looking back on intense races, or interesting cars I've owned.

In GT6, I sometimes misread prices for parts and have to be told I don't have enough funds.
