Just off the top of my head, GT1, GT2, GT3 had a broken percentage meter, but I'm sure I finished it. I almost completed Dukes of Hazzard Racing For Home, but I scratched the disc before completing the final level. Twisted Metal 4. GT6. GT4 was too hard and GT5 was too long. A few NBA Lives. Test Drive 5. Almost completed Test Drive 4, but the Pitbull Cup was too hard in 4. Almost completed Test Drive Off Road 2, but Ilost 2 Hummer races. NASCAR '99. NASCAR Dirt to Daytona. That's all I can come up with right now, but maybe there were a couple more.

Gran Turismo 6. The graphics are awesome and the Classic Sports Car race in Rome can really turn around a bad day.

How old were you when you started playing games?
Family sedan replied to Anachiwo's topic in Gaming Forum
I started playing PC and handheld games at age 7 and got my first PlayStation at age 13. -
I've never pre-ordered a game. I've never seen a pressing need to do so. Then again, my newest console is a PS3.
-
When I got to level 41 I was playing on hard.
-
I don't even know how far you can go. The weird thing is the game doesn't start until level 14. If you play on easy it will start on level 5, but usually I'll play on hard and begin at level 14.
-
What's the furthest you've made it in Placer Racer. I reached level 41 a couple years back.
-
I have no real time frame I go by, I'll just play when I feel like it.
-
I tend to like basketball and auto racing games myself. I thought NASCAR '99 and the NBA Lives games of the era were awesome.
-
I loved the late '90's/ early 2000's period of gaming. It seemed really awesome. And console durability was good too. I still have my '97 Playstation I got for Christmas that year.
-
If I am really bad at something, I'll ask myself if improvement is a possibility and if not I'll play something else or do something else.
-
Gran Turismo games, NBA Live '03 or Twisted Metal games.
-
I love Shadow's special in Twisted Metal 2. I find it really intuitive to use.

Do you play games to escape yourself or find yourself?
Family sedan replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
I play to escape the modern world. The GT6 Classic Sports Car race in Rome is great for this. I mean, no car newer than 1979 can enter. -
What retro gaming system would you most like to try?
Family sedan replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
I want to try the first Atari console and Sega Saturn. -
What retro like console remakes are coming next?
Family sedan replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming Forum
Does Crayola still sell alarm clocks? I still have mine from 1992 when I was 8 and it still works. -
Most badass you’ve ever felt in a game?
Family sedan replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
In Twisted Metal 2 you can hide in the Eiffel Tower and kill people. It's especially effective when you're playing as Shadow and you're parked in a corner. Otherwise it's when I'm in a really strong car in GT6. -
My gaming space has some nice model cars including a Pagani Zonda, a Buick GSX and a '68 Z-28.

Is the song from Dehumanizer?

I was in a community college cafeteria in Manassas once browsing Car Domain and I heard one group of students dis the others for liking video games. And then the group doing the dissing was like, 'I don't know, I did like playing that one Nintewndo game a long time ago.' So even people dissing gaming sometimes play video games.
-
I would hope that people remember the early NBA Live games, but I just don't know if it will happen.

What video game ending would you change?
Family sedan replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
I'm going to add another one to this list. The ending music for GT2 should not be Beck's "Where it's At." My vote instead would go to a song like "Can't Explain" by The Who, because of all the '50's and '60's racing photos. It would be more era appropriate for the ending video. -
I'm not an early adopter of technology, so even if not for morality I won't buy an overpriced console.

What percentage of your games are new vs. used?
Family sedan replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
In my teens in the late '90's or early 2000s I would get new. In the last ten years I think I have only gotten used games. I couldn't tell you the percentages though. -
I gave up on completing GT5 because they make you drive all the Le Mans 24 Hours yourself. That is inaccurate to real racing where no person runs 24 hours in one go anymore. There are usually three driver teams at Le Mans now.
