Because the vast majority of cartoons these days suck. Some of the more adult oriented cartoons have had games. Family Guy, South Park, The Simpsons, etc. And some of the children's cartoons have games. The only one that comes to mind at the moment is Spongebob. If we still had the same cartoons that we had in the 80's we would have a lot more cartoon based games. When was the last time there was a TMNT game? SNES I believe. That should be your prime example.

Seriously, back then, these cartoons had purpose and the plot are wonderfully made. I can remember one of my favorite cartoons then called Samurai Jack. 

Seriously, a bunch of them are just whack and jumbled up characters acting rubbish with no good narrative. I don't see how it's going to thrive in games.

Most of the video games I'm playing via my PS3 aren't new franchise video games. That's why I'm not facing any issue of nicro-transactions, and I wouldn't like to, anytime soon. 

Laughs, I don't have such seven hands like the octopus, I only have just two hands, which is for one after the other games. 

I'll be going back.to playing prince of persia, DMC, then play a new game which is GT2 or 4. This are the games on my mind to get back into. 

You're right, it's just as useless as never before. Because, it will put you in state of thinking simply to do all sort of evil to get it by all means. I can't go such kind of restless time just for material possession. I'll work hard to get what I want, if I can't reach it, then I wouldn't kill myself over it. 

It's a nice thing to hear about your plans almost set up for you to get your Playstation 5. I'm just right behind you on this because I know that with time, I'm getting mine. 

You shouldn't feel.sad for what your hands can't reach, you need to be contented at least for the option you have at the moment. Then save up, you can get new gen console version with time. 

Feeling sad for what I can't have is a useless feeling. Will the feeling get me what I'm craving? I rather make plans on how to get that and actually get it. 

You guys should try it. If you play a lot of games while sitting down, that's not good for you. If you play long hours, I suggest taking breaks where you move around or just stand up once in a while. 

Okay, noted. Why I love playing F1 games is due to the fact, I love watching lots of racing games both virtual and IRL. So, I can play any racing games at all, I have special infinity for it.

Since I can get the game only once, it's not really a bad thing or idea. Once it's purchased, it's off my budget on getting the game, then I can think of another thing. 

Yep, I absolutely understand where you're coming from!  Trying to stop buying to play catch up, only for another one to roll down the pipelines and...well...you've got to grab it!  That's how my backlog got so out of whack in the first place, and it just hasn't stopped :D.  Hopefully one day I'll get a bit of free time to sit down and get through a few of those games, have a bit of fun with them!

Correct, games we own and have not had the chance to get into, for one reason or another.  It happens over time, usually, but sneaks up on a lot of us until it becomes a bit overwhelming!
That is a very sizeable backlog, indeed!  It doesn't take much to become overwhelming! :)

I have 2 Master Swords, novelty coins, clothing, posters, and other random crap. I don't have a whole lot. Most of it is just random junk that I don't even know where the hell it is. The big things are the swords. One is a hell of a lot higher quality than the other, but they're both good quality replicas.

Racing games are always fun to play once you get to be into playing it that much. It's why playing Dirt and Forza horizon 5, and Need for Speed are my favorite. 

If you're playing racing games, then it will be possible to unlock some special cars with high nitro, which will enable you race at a good pace. 

It's actually how I felt when I was playing Dark Souls. The lesson the games taught are still fresh in my memories. 

There is no way you would expect that kind of knowledge to go that easily. What you get put through when playing will stay with you most likely forever. 

Probably will have to be the 80's here too because back then you could walk into any gas station and play arcade games. Plus, I was in Vegas so they had slot machines everywhere too, so everyone was gaming it seemed.
