Not all games are built the same way which is why I believe that tutorials are very important to games because it's going to throw more light to how you can play the game.

Depends on the game, for ones in genre like racing I find that it’s pretty annoying since 99% of racing games are basically the same.

If every game was so similar to each other that there was no need for tutorials at all we'd bee in a pretty sorry state. Without thier own indigenous control quirks games just wouldn't have thier own identity. A case can be made that if a game is easy to play without a tutorial, that's a sign of a game that's got a very well suited and intuitive control set up, but I still would like to think every new game has something a little different to offer.

I'm hearing you on JRPG's. Don't get me wrong, I love the genre, but they almost always have to take some getting used to. I touched on that when I reviewed Tales of Arise recently.

Racing games are constantly evolving, so you can't have one favorite. A new game comes around from time to time to dethrone the others.
So here are my favorite racing games over the times:

Test Drive 3 1990 Stunts 1991 The Need for Speed 1995 Motorhead 1998 Need for Speed Porsche Unleashed 2000 Gran Turismo 4 2004 Test Drive Unlimited 2006 Gran Turismo 5 2010 NFS Shift 2 2011 Project Cars 2 2017
    Honourable mentions:
Car & Driver 1992 Fatal Racing 1995 Destruction Derby 1995 Need For Speed 2 SE 1997 Gran Turismo 1998 Gran Turismo 2 1999 1nsane 2000 Street Legal Racing 2003 Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2 2010 Gran Turismo 6 2013
I was a racing game fanatic, well I still would be, if there was any racing game worthy of the name.
I also love racing simulations that I excluded from this list.

It's between the Burnout franchise, Need For Speed Franchise up to Most Wanted, The original Gran Turismo and GT 2, and Forza.

My favourite has been the Burnout franchise (minus Burnout Paradise), especially Burnout 3. The series has sadly been dead for quite some time. I haven't really been that into racing games since, but I did enjoy what I've played of the Forza: Horizon games.

When you're at the office, 8 Ball Pool is entertaining and isn't greatly competitive so you don't have to worry about your nerves. You can play a game in 5 - 10 minutes with random people. Check out the official game on Miniclip or in the Google/Apple store for mobile.

Even my cousins complained such thing too, when we are having fun playing together back in the days. I am comfortable playing with the analog button than the normal side buttons. Everyone has choice, just as you've made your choice known.

Exactly, age doesn't matter at all. Once you get all the strength to play, there is nothing that can stop you from playing.

Age doesn't matter in one's career, what matters most is the well-being. If you're fit enough you can simply stay with your services for many more years. Same goes to gaming, when my health isn't bad during old age, I'll keep on playing.

I'm guessing it's a cheaper quality of plastic, or maybe it's the moulding? I know you mean about this, with even the much improved Dual Analogue controller (with the concaved sticks). You can only clean your fingers so much before your naturally produced grease makes their way onto them.

Idk what it is, but it seems if you keep your PS1/PS2 dualshock controllers for a long time, they tend to get gunky and slimy feeling. I think the rubber on the analog sticks starts to go after being left alone for such a long time. Or it just collects dust way too easily. Does anyone else have this issue with old controllers with rubber sticks? Like they feel sticky and sometimes it falls apart. Do you guys know a way of protecting controllers from this? I'm thinking of just wrapping all of my controllers in plastic bags to protect them more from dust and debris when not in use.

Family sedan reacted to Empire in Why are there not more placement ads in video games?
For a racing game (Forza, NFS Gran Turismo) it doesn't bother me so much, because racing events IRL are dependent upon companies sponsoring the races. So it doesn't really bother me when I'm coming out of turn 4 and I notice several billboards along the outer wall. Alright, cool.
But it would aggravate me to see, let's say, the Illusive Man pulling out a pack of Camel No 9's and a Zippo lighter in every cut scene he was in. Crap like that would aggravate the hell out of me. It just seems like a shameless plug.

If you play sports or auto racing games, ads in games and billboards and the like are more common.
