I agree, it makes the experience more complicated  because it's only human that you'll sometimes forget when to use tap or hold control and screw yourself over.

The only downside to owning Alkonist is that it doesn't have many customization options and it also occupies a huge space in the hanger being a jet but it looks cool though. 

Seriously, some gamers don't really get that. It's actually why there are so many games existing at once. Once you can't have a breakthrough with one, you move on to another. 

If you are looking for health pack booster, it means that you're in the point of death if it eludes you further. Personally, I think it's the same with all games. 

Oh. You reminded me my school days. I used to draw many characters of the games that I played. Like super Mario and Nina turtles. But, after my college days, I never picked up drawing again. 😄

It's very rough since the model was created through 3D reconstruction aka. photogrammetry using screenshots from the model viewer. If I could get my hands on the actual models from the game it would be much better.

Same here and it also impacts your behavior negatively where you're being rude to other people for no reason at all.

Seriously, I can only pick out negativity from video games when you start getting too addicted to it in such a way it affects your normal life. 

In addition to what others have said, it's not just about mental health but physical health. However sweaty your session of DOTA 2 gets it's not enough to burn off the amount of sugar contained in a 'gaming' energy drink. Even sugar-free ones like my go-to Sneak contain about 1/3rd of my daily recommended allowance of caffeine, which will improve my reaction times but not my aim.
Also 'gaming' chairs aren't that good for you either. For starters their purpose was inspired by Formula One cars which move at high speeds and have to be secured properly. F1 seats are also moulded to the shape of the individual driver via expanding foam, whereas the bucket seats used for gaming chairs use a generic design. Driving a racing car is also different to sitting at a desk, as I'm sure the sensible among us can imagine. Their lumbar 'support' is a joke, typically a pillow that you may have to pay extra for or an internal mechanism that could give up the ghost with the knob getting stuck or the mechanism falling down the back of the leather with no way to fix it yourself. Even though mine has the built-in support, my head doesn't reach the back of the seat so I need to pay for an extra cushion. Thanks, noblechairs.
The above is just complaints about chairs with the 'gaming tax' attached, I should explain why they're bad. Mostly it's due to the poor posture they encourage, as well as circulatory issues that will come from longer periods of sitting. They're also germ magnets compared to a mesh office chair which will allow your sweaty carcass to to breathe more easily, rather than trapping farts in the foam past the faux leather cushion, or an excess amount of skin flakes in the arm rests.
Of course this applies to any hobby that encourages being seated for long periods of time, be it binging TV shows, reading books or painting still life.

Lately on twitter there is "fact check" games going on. where the people who fact check are hired by these people. so it's like they are misleading us by hiring the misleading fact checkers lol.

It's definitely going to be Weevil, GTA's Beetle Doppleganger for me. Yeah, I know some might say it's way too old but for me, it's a classic. 

Definitely - Powerslave comes out on top for. The band and bits are certainly entertaining to listen to.

Yes, but the song I discovered playing Tony Hawk games in '02 or '03 was The Number of the Beast, from the 1982 album of the same name.  The Writing on the Wall is a new single released by Maiden, but yes it is the same band.

Seriously, it's very downing how such microtransactions makes me feel. With the vivid explanation you did with one getting a car, it's basically the same thing with getting a game. 
If you need an upgrade in your car for something it didn't come with, your expected to pay for it and not charging you extra for driving it. 

More focus on storytelling and less focus on clout and after sales monetization options. I don't know why are we accepting those. Would you accept your car charging you each time you turn on the radio? Or each time you roll down the window?  After you bought a game you should be able to play them unrestricted, and any later purchases should be additional content, and I don't mean weapon skins. Actual meaningful content.

My memories of Fairfax were largely of affluent suburbans, many of them defense contractors/ex-military. I always thought of it as a fairly sugar-coated place--toxic in its way, but usually by being kind of repressive? It sounds like your workplace was really messed up!

I forget what South Park character said it, but I think it went, 'If they made changes to the Colosseum every year, soon it would just be another big, douchy stadium.'  It was the Raiders of the Lost Ark episode.  The same applies to not changing games that are masterpieces.

Are you a fan of Dragon Force?  I listen to them sometimes and their music is supposedly heavily based on gaming.

Yeah I believe that to some extent the video games players opinions should be heard but it shouldn't be the 100% yardstick of what the video games developers should do. 

Creators should be free to create what they originally intended to instead of being pressured into pleasing players whose opinion might change on a dime even if they get what they originally asked for.
