Personally I find it frustrating when the release of a game is delayed, or even an update in an existing game, especially if it's a game/update I am really looking forward to. I think it's unprofessional.

Can you please elaborate on what you mean by a 'sensitive' controller? Are you referring to the controller's feelings? In that case, just treat it with love and you'll be just fine! 😄

I can relate to this topic - I purchased the remake of Star Wars Battlefront 2 on my PS4 since I had the original version on the PS2 and loved it at the time, but the remake just didn't feel the same. Gaming has evolved over time, and so have my gaming needs, and it did not suffice to my gaming needs.

how long has ur favorite game been ur favorite
ARx182 replied to TheSteelyardDweller's topic in Gaming Forum
My favourite game of all time is GTA V. I think it's the perfect game and has everything an open-world game could possibly have. It's been my favourite game since I acquired it and completed the story - so 2014. -
Personally I find that I cannot concentrate on the game itself when I am listening to my own music. Perhaps it's my taste of music that is distracting or I just prefer to game without music. Especially in games such as Fortnite and COD, where you are trying to listen for any nearby footsteps, how would you concentrate with music in the background?

I currently have a Kotion Each G2600 gaming headset. The design is cool, it comes with a microphone and it has a light-up option. The sound quality is also good for the price. All in all, it's a really good headset for a reasonable price.

I don't play any MMOs anymore, but I played Warframe for a while, at the recommendation of a friend. It's a really cool concept but just not my type of game. I'm thinking of trying it one more time, however, I doubt it will change my opinion of it.

I think Shadow The Hedgehog on the PS2 was overlooked, atleast in my opinion. I might be wrong but I don't think it got the recognition it deserved or as much recognition as the Sonic games. I played Shadow The Hedge a lot in my childhood, alone and with friends/family and back then it was the perfect game. It brings back great memories and I'm looking for a way to play the game again.

I didn't exactly discover Red Dead Redemption 2 on VGR, but it was recommended to me by a few people on here, can't remember who exactly. I had the game long before it was recommended to me, but the recommendation finally made me play it. So far, it is amazing!

Yep haha, I have no idea why I said 30". We passed on the chance to get a 50" one from what I remember so it’s either a 38" or 42". Love it though.

I loved my PS2 as a kid. The most notable game I remember playing is the original Star Wars Battlefront 2. I loved playing that game with my older brother. It brings back great memories. I also had other games like Shadow The Hedgehog and FIFA 08. I wish I had kept my PS2 purely for nostalgia’s sake.

A bit of both of what has already been said. The graphics seem too old-fashioned, maybe that’s the theme, but they could still do with a little polishing. Also the game is too easy, a game can’t be fun if there is no challenge. Nonetheless, it’s great that you have coded your own game. Keep persisting with it, I am sure you will create great games.

I think you may have mistaken the game for Clash of Clans. I don’t remember there being any fortresses or anything alike on Clash Royale. I’ve had the game since the very start and once upon a time, it was the best game on the App Store, but the decline has been evident for the last few years. The most frustrating part is that the developers, Supercell never even tried to revive the game. In fact, you could even blame them for the game’s slow death with stupid updates every 6 months. That being said, I still play and there is supposedly a big update coming out in August, and I am actually hopeful.

Currently I own a PC and a PS4. The PS4 is a shared console with my brothers, whereas the PC is exclusively mine, since I bought it myself. I’ve been gaming since I was about 6 years old - maybe younger. Over the years, I’ve had a PS2, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo 3DS, PSP and now a PC and a PS4. If I had to choose a favourite console it would be the PSP. I loved it.

I have a 4k Smart TV. I can’t remember the exact size. Maybe 30"? All I know is that it is really big. We bought it earlier this year, we as in my family, for gaming and watching football. It’s been an excellent investment. We’ve mounted it on the wall so that you can sit back on the couch and enjoy whatever it is that you want to play or watch.

The only fighting game I’ve played in recent memory is UFC 3, if you count that. In my opinion, it is different to the traditional fighting games, mainly because it involves UFC moves such as grappling. Nonetheless, it was really fun for a while but it didn’t take too long for me to overplay the game and become bored of it.

What is the longest session you have had when playing video games?
ARx182 replied to DudeThatsErin's topic in Gaming Forum
24 to 36 hour gaming sessions really is insane. Don’t think that’s very healthy. When FIFA 20 first came out, I was addicted to it, so on weekends I easily spent between 8-12 hours on the game. On week days, I had college so I was limited on time. I will probably spend a similar amount of time if not more now that I have my own PC and no college on FIFA 21 in October. -
What is your largest number of playthroughs on any video game?
ARx182 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
I never usually play through a game more than once but I decided to play through GTA V a few weeks ago, as I felt I never really got to appreciate the game properly the first time around. This time I’m not skipping missions or any of the story. -
What will be the first games you buy on your PS5 or Xbox Series X?
ARx182 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
Just to be clear, I’m not going anywhere near the Xbox Series X. It’s awful, the PS5 is clear. The first game I will buy on the PS5 will probably be the new Spider-Man. I loved the first one and its story builds up to Spider-Man: Miles Morales so I’m really excited! -
Getting to division 1 on seasons and winning the division on FIFA 20 is my proudest moment. I did it so easily too - from division 10 to 1, I lost about 4 games and I went unbeaten in division 1. I only got to Division 2 in FIFA 19 and before then I never played seasons, so completing seasons was certainly a special feeling funnily enough.

I got UFC 3 for less than £5 on the PS Store. I think it was a part of a sale not so long ago. UFC 3 is a great game, you don’t even need to know anything about UFC, I didn’t, as it’s really just a fighting game that’s very easy to learn and master. Off the top of my head, that’s the best deal I have gotten.

Games that changed your perception of other games
ARx182 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
Playing PES changed my perception of FIFA. If you’ve played FIFA, you know that it is full of glitches - before playing PES, I thought that it was unpreventable given the power of FIFA, but the gameplay of PES is miles ahead of FIFA. The moral of the story is that EA are money hungry, they don’t care about their game as long as it makes them money. -
It really depends on the game. If it’s a competitive game like Fortnite or a new FIFA, the hours fly by, unless I’ve been playing the game too much recently. If it’s a story based game, I can’t play longer than 2 hours. Story based games are generally slow and I get bored too easily.

The only mobile game I currently play is Clash Royale. I don’t play it because it’s fun to play, but because I’ve been playing since the very start, and I have committed too much time and money into the game to just quit. There’s a big update coming up in August, so I hope that will freshen up the game but I see no future for Clash Royale. I had Clash of Clans installed on my phone a while ago too but I just lost interest and decided to delete the game, since I haven’t committed too much time into it. In other words, Supercell are lazy!
