I can relate, whether you play with a controller or keyboard and mouse, Fortnite certainly exercises your fingers. I’d like to think I’m semi-pro now that my fingers move fast enough.
-
Seems like only the aesthetics/design have changed, not the controller itself. Comfort wise, the Dualshock 4 is perfect though, I agree.

Hey, I'm not just one of the people - I'm an OG. 😆 Jokes aside, EA are the worst company ever but we still play FIFA, because which football fan (which has a massive audience) doesn't want to play a video game where you get to play football.

That's why I read the opinion of the majority. Of course, every game like with anything else that involves reviews, will have bad reviews, but if the majority of the reviews are good, the game is most likely good unless you have a different taste of gaming to everyone else.

I spoke too soon. Experienced lag and 200 ping the entire day yesterday. It's fixed now, but boy was it frustrating. To be fair, it is the first time in a long time that I have experienced lag but it completely ruins your enjoyment.
-
Atleast you're honest haha.
-
Of course. Most gamers have probably 'binge gamed' at some point - time goes super fast when you're gaming. I've been binge gaming Fortnite for the past couple of days (new season hype) and I binge gamed FIFA 20 back in September when it was released.

My first video game memory is playing Star Wars Battlefront II with my older brother on the PS2. I was probably 5 years old at the time but my memory of the game is still crystal clear. I've tried to play the 2017 remake too but it doesn't hit the same way.

Just had a fun session on Rainbow Six Siege. I've had the game for a while and finally got around to playing it. It's super fun, I'm hooked already. Third Tom Clancy game I've played after Splintercell Conviction and The Division.

What related activities do you do when your not gaming?

That makes sense. I've probably done that myself some time in the past, but I was referring to people who watch gameplay as a source of entertainment. I guess everyone has their own definition of entertainment but watching gameplays is certainly not mine. -
Earlier this year I saved up money from a temporary retail job I did over Christmas and invested a good chunk of the money into a gaming PC. I bought the parts not a pre-built PC, cost me around £800 if you include everything - by that I mean the chair and monitor too.
-
I've played the game on mobile - I'm surprisingly good at it. Not sure if it's worth buying on PC though, I'll just stick to mobile, or better so play Fortnite/Warzone/Apex Legends on PC. They're all free, what does PUBG offer that they don't?
-
I have a gaming PC that I built myself, I bought a HAVIT Rainbow LED Backlit Wired Keyboard and Mouse Combo Set. Also, why would anyone need more than one keyboard for the same desktop? Seems odd.
-
Why? Their best game (Fortnite) is free which is regularly updated, they release games (for example, GTA V) for free on a regular basis and their support is excellent. I don't see the problem with Epic Games.
-
I agree, I know of another very popular game in its peak, decline in the same way because the developers could not keep up with its demand - seems to be the route for all mobile games. If only they had the work ethic of Epic Games.
-
Makes a lot of sense. That's a long time before my existence haha.
-
Windows. I've never had a problem with the operating system (which is windows if you couldn't tell already) that I run games on, so why change something that is not broken?
-
What games have made you jump out of your chair?
ARx182 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Video Games
Exactly, FIFA 20 is more of a FIFA 17.3 than a new game. They will update the roster, very slightly improve the gameplay and release it the following year. Trademark EA. That being said, I along with other FIFA fanatics will still buy the game every year. -
Funnily enough, before lockdown, my internet was going down every other day. Since lockdown, it has been flawless. I use Virgin Medi fyi. I cannot remember the last time I experienced lag, it's been that long. 😛

Video games: Escapism, dealing with your problems, or both?
ARx182 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
I am 18, but I do not think it's to do with age. You can be stressed regardless of your age, life hits people at 16, 17... I am just personally a calm person that does not take stuff to heart, that's my personality. -
A colour change. Just what we needed.

I've never had a PS Vita. Seems like it replaced the PSP. I only discovered the PS Vita around last year. The PSP brings back some great memories though. Is the PS Vita just a better version of a PSP?
-
FIFA 18 was great, although broken. Near-post shots were way too over-powered. For me it has to be one of the FIFA editions or GTA V. I'm playing RDR2 on my PS4 at the moment so GTA V may not be my favourite for much longer.

The Xbox Series X is literally a box - very lazy design. I don't see them being able to compete with the PS5. Will get left behind just like Nintendo was left behind years ago. 😜
