I didn't think of it like that, but that does make a lot more sense. I remember when hddvd failed. I almost got that hddvd addon for the 360 years back, thank goodness I didn't. I remember the whole betamax thing. From what I heard it was actually a better format than vhs in terms of visuals, but vhs was easier to record on I think and also allowed for longer length video than betamax did. But I could be wrong that.

Hitman 3 should get you the first two titles at no additional cost as well. So each mission from 1 and 2 should be accessible on hitman 3. 🙂 I think Mad Max was on game pass at one point, but it was since removed. Would love to have it back on there though as I wouldn't mind giving it a go.

Yeah pretty much this. It's tough for any American consoles to sell in Japan and other foreign countries. I mean, think of it this way, wasn't the Xbox one of the first american made consoles? Most other consoles to my knowledge originated in Japan and other foreign countries, so the likelihood of any American consoles selling well overseas is a tough sell. Actually scratch that, I think Atari is an American company, but idk how they did in Japan and other countries.

Which "PS5 Limited Edition" Version Wold You Like to See?
Kane99 replied to Gonassis's topic in Playstation
They will for sure make a PS5 for each popular exclusive. I think they made one for the newer horizon game, and I bet God of War Ragnarok will get a special console release. Same with the next last of us if that happens. -
That's automatically what I think of as well, especially since I think portable DVD players took inspiration from it back then. I've always wanted to own the PSOne with the screen. But I can only imagine how pricey the have gotten these days because of collectors.

Anyone who plays it knows it's going to kill you a ton lol. I saw a few streams of people playing it, and they died a ton. Sometimes to the easiest enemies and all that. It's a game I want to eventually play, because I like the idea behind it. But I don't know if I can handle the difficulty.

I feel like EA may be starting to let their devs do their thing. I at least hope that's the case. If EA actually allowed their devs to do their own thing, and take as much time as needed to finish a game, then I don't think EA would be this hated.

I think playing on the steam deck would probably be the best method, considering it's a mobile device made to play your steam library. Still though, it probably won't be the best way to play it, since it will still be a bit downgraded compared to the main game on consoles and PC.

I could see something like that happening, where they allow Kratos as a sidekick or as a selectable character at least. I think it'd be even cooler if you played as Atreus and when you beat it, you can open new game + where you can select Kratos to play as. Idk I could see it working. But I know some fans won't want to leave Kratos as a sidekick.

I can't say I ever heard of this game, but after watching the trailer for it, it looks like it might be something I'd be into. Any idea if this is available on other platforms and not just the switch?

The sad truth is that EA isn't the ones developing, but they are the ones who limit their devs, say no to their devs, and don't give their devs the needed time to develop games. I think the main failure of battlefield, is that it tried to replicate COD in terms of their release schedule. Because didn't battlefield take a while longer to come out than cod did? While cod was doing their yearly release, I feel like battlefield didn't do the year release schedule until later on.

Oh for sure. 🤣🤣🤣 But seriously, I wish we'd see more food joints based on video game franchises pop up. Could be fun ventures the developers do. Hell, they could even put their own arcade within it that let's people play San Andreas or even other GTA titles. That'd be pretty cool I think.

Idk, I mainly just want to see an assassin in modern times, not like your traditional assassin who uses guns and other means, but an assassin from this world. One who uses the hidden blades, and old weapons. Maybe they can include some kind of dart gun, bow and arrow etc, but no actual guns. I know ac had some guns in later games, but I'd prefer not to even use guns when you have the abilities an assassin has.

I've been watching some videos on YouTube from people who mod the game. They do these videos where they have npcs fighting each other. I wouldn't mind doing that, but I wouldn't know where to even begin. I found a site for mods and I'll try to mess with that some when I finish rdr2s story again. Once I do I'm going to attempt to mod it and mess around. Should be fun. 🙂

There's far too many to name on newgrounds.com itself and most I have forgotten, aside from Alien Hominid. As for the other games I mentioned, a google search should find them all fairly easily. 😎👍

I used to play a game called words with friends. I think that's what it was called. You'd have to guess a word or phrase before a friend does. It's been a long time since I played it so I can't say for sure if it's the right name. But from what I did play it was a lot of fun. As for other suggestions I don't really know of much else. Don't really play many word based games myself.

That's what I would like to do. Just set everything up near me so I don't have to deal with hooking up or unhooking anything. I'm lazy so I like simplicity with my setup. I have another hdtv I can use, I may use it for another console or as another monitor somehow. 😄

Fair point. Just can't stand some games with poor controls. Anyway, I guess a game that did kinda traumatize me, was probably one point in assassin's Creed 3 where you find one of your friends dead. It reminded me of a time my father and I found our neighbor dead, so it brought me back to that moment. Was uncomfortable but I got through the game. It was only one moment near the end of the game.

What game do you struggle with that everyone claims is easy?
Kane99 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
I heard some argue that sekiro is even tougher than the dark souls series and bloodborne. I have no idea if that is true or not, but I assume it's close to being as difficult to the dark souls series. I would need to eventually play sekiro to find out, but from the looks of it, it's a close one.. -
Diablo II is a lot harder than I remember it being
Kane99 replied to Steerminator's topic in Video Games
For someone who has not really played any of the diablo games, which game should a noob like myself playing to get used to the series? Should I play them all before playing the newest one? Or does it matter what game you start off on? -
Is The Last Of Us part 3 ever going to be a reality?
Kane99 replied to Clasher's topic in Video Games
I wouldn't say it's playing it safe, just that they know that the audience would be into playing more last of us remasters until a new one drops. It's just their way of holding fans over until a third is announced. They will release another remaster, probably for the second game before the third is even announced. Or they may do a double remaster for both games in one package before the third is ever announced. What I'm saying is this, a third is a very likely possibility, because Naughty Dog knows there is definite money in a third game. So does Sony, so they're probably already in talks for a third. -
Netflix should really start to release bigger/triple A games
Kane99 replied to Kane99's topic in Video Games
They could also start doing smaller scale games to release on consoles and PC. It's not like their focus needs to be on just mobile games. They could support indie studios and release their games even. It doesn't have to be some triple a title that is expected to sell like GTA or COD. It could be a small indie title that is easy to make, sell etc. -
Is there any such thing as "overhyped" or "overrated" video games?
Kane99 replied to Clasher's topic in Gaming Forum
It's all based on personal perspective. I may think a game is overrated, but someone else may think the opposite and that's totally fine. But there are games that do come out with a ton of praise and come out less than what everyone expected. In the case of cyberpunk for example, it was overrated because they promised everyone something that they have yet to deliver. But, people are allowed to disagree with my point because if it was what they wanted it wouldn't necessarily been over hyped for that person.
