  1. I'd say it already is. People love VR right now. It's not perfect for sure, but it's already at a stage where I'm very eager about. Plus, affordability will be a big key into the future, as we know VR is going to have to lower in price eventually.
  2. I hope the new God of War releases on PC like the last one did. Plus maybe the Uncharted series if it hasn't already been ported to PC. I just want to experience those games without having to buy a console.

    Among Us on the PC

I've played a bit of Among Us in the past. I'm not a big fan of it. It's a fun game, but my anxiety goes up playing it, because I can't stand the parts where you have to discuss where you were, what you were doing, who you were with. Essentially having to defend yourself or accuse others. And that gives me too much stress, so I'd rather watch people play it. Plus the arguments people get into can be annoying to be a part of. So no thanks!
  4. I think PC is becoming more popular, because I feel the people that grew up with gaming, now have jobs and can make good livings and can afford to build or even buy a gaming PC. Back when I was a kid it was tough to get a console. Now I could probably afford to get all the new consoles if I really wanted to spend that much money. But, I'm cheap so I won't lol. But, that's the point, most of us are now adults and we can afford to spend on PC gaming. Well some of us can. But there are budget options for getting into PC gaming if you can't afford to spend much. I had to do the budget gaming PC myself. You can game on cheaper PCs, it's just not perfect.
  5. If you could make a mobile game, what do you think your first game would be? I think making a wrestling game would be fun, and since I have some knowledge on wrestling, I could maybe make it work. But I have no clue how to code so it'd be a long learning experience.
  6. Does anyone own any weird/obscure headsets? Like ones that normally no one would wear or try to use. Like promotional headsets, or headsets made around something random and weird. Idk, just trying to keep the convo on topic. 🙂
  7. I've always wanted to check this game out. I think I downloaded it ages ago when Xbox gave it away for free at one point I think. Or maybe it was on gamepass, I forget. But it looked quite appealing, so I may check it out soon.
  8. I spent some of my Vbucks in fortnite on a skin recently, and then a better skin came out recently that I wanted. The new Spider-Man skin. I forgot what skin I got before it, but yeah, should've waited. 😞
  9. How is the show? Should I play the game first before trying the show out? Does it tie anything in from the game? Or is it its own thing for the most part?
  10. Man, I'm realizing so many young people here who's first experience with PCs were so recent. It's weird to me as my first experiences make me feel and sound really old lol.
  11. Now, in the case that too much action causes glitching and framerate issues, then I could understand too much action being too much. Of course, the developers have to find a fine line with it working. They can't put too much stuff in otherwise it will cause issues with performance, so it depends on the devs themselves and whether they can handle a lot of action or not.
  12. Yeah the movie franchise for it was awful. I didn't like any of the films, even the first one. I don't even like the newer movie that came out, just felt boring. Also the zombies looked kinda bad. But yeah. Maybe one day we'll get a studio that will make a faithful adaptation of the franchise.
  13. I think Watch Dogs Legion was a very under-rated game that came out in 2021. I kinda figured that game would have blown up like WD2 did, but I guess not. I still have yet to play it myself, but want to give it a try soon. I like the permadeath option with the characters you play as, makes it even tougher to keep the players you like alive.
  14. It's mainly because of how easy it is to access. Anyone can play SMB, from a kid, to a grandma. The controls are near perfect, the graphics are simple, but effective and work for the time and even today. It's just a start of something that made sense and influenced so many more games to follow. Without SMB, I don't think we'd have a lot of the popular hit games of today, at least in terms of 2d side scrollers/platformers.
  15. I think the reason I don't game as much these days, is simply because I have friends who play mostly one game *cough* fortnite *cough*, but I still play games alone from time to time. Like Hitman, Madden, and a few others. I guess I prefer to play games along most times, but I do like to game online with friends more often it seems.
  16. I still haven't played it. Heard good things, but I also heard that it wasn't as impressive as people were making it out to be. I'll probably check it out soon when I have more free time. It sounds appealing, but I do worry I won't be able to get into it.
  17. lol why? I still have my N64 and hook it up from time to time to play. Same with my NES, SNES, and whatever other consoles I have lying around. I'm guessing you're pretty young if you found seeing someone play an N64 unbelievable. 😄 But I guess it would make sense if you happen to be young.
  18. For sure. Gaming is a great tool to have in your arsenal when it comes to fighting the day to day stress of life. I also enjoy watching movies and tv to get through my bad times, but gaming is for sure up on that list and will always be there for me. Sometimes though, I will be too stressed or anxious to game. It doesn't happen often, but when that happens, it means I am really stressed out about something.
  19. Hey guys, topic seems to be going off track. If you don't have gaming bot, or bot suggestions for discord, please take the convo elsewhere. Thanks! If you have any bot suggestions, please post them here. Im open to suggestions.
  20. As well, not only can gaming help with stress and anxiety, it can be used for fitness, work, dexterity, learning and more. Video games can do a lot. They can also be used to kill time, or take out your frustrations.
  21. I don't think it's a stock issue, but more of a scalper issue. I don't know how they didn't figure out a way to solve this faster, but they are failing at stopping it. It feels like each generation is going to go like this, resulting in more stock shortages because tools gotta buy it all up as fast as they can. Oddly enough, Microsoft, sony and Nintendo are having some of their best years because of the pandemic. The gaming industry, if anything, benefitted from the pandemic.
  22. I imagine. I'm not very patient with these type of games and my anxiety goes up if there's too many things you gotta do at the same time. I like easy and straightforward. Nothing that is deemed too challenging.
  23. Hey, I kinda liked that the Xbox one allowed you to connect other consoles to it. Never used the option, but I always thought it was cool and could have been useful I imagine.
  24. Yes! Books like that. Essentially any books about the history of consoles, the ones that succeeded and also failed. I know there are some books out there.
  25. True, but, that could mean one day PC support could be on the way. I doubt it, but I think it'd be cool. At least the classics, and maybe new games on on Nintendo consoles until a certain time. It could work.
