  1. That sucks. I always assumed that it would work with other PC ecosystems like steam or epic games. So it doesn't even work with Steam? I hope that's not true, because I won't buy one if it's just meant for the Facebook side of things.
  2. In regards to 2K, that's debatable. Madden has been a shell of itself for probably a decade now, with minimal changes over that time. 2K sports games are at least consistent and play like what you'd expect a sports sim to play. At least when it comes to NBA. And the presentation is on a whole other level. Presentation isn't great when it comes to EA, because they're lazy in that area. I can't comment on FIFA or other sports titles though from EA, but I assume their yearly releases have hurt them in the sense that they don't really do a whole lot different each year.
  3. I pre-ordered WWE 2K22 recently and I don't think I get anything special for doing so. Which sucks, but I wanted to pre-order so I can pre-download when the time comes. just sucks that the PC version comes out on the 11th and not the 8th like the console versions do. 😞
  4. I kinda quit playing Call of Duty 4 at times. I recall there being people who can get into glitches. You could shoot out of these glitches, but couldn't shoot the people in them. It was quite annoying and caused me to quit matches a lot. I almost gave up on the game, but I stuck with it anyway.
  5. I just recalled a time where I overwrote an important save file, I think it was RDR1, or it might have been GTA V. But I ended up saving over my main save file after I was messing around in the game causing havoc. You can lose money messing around in game, and I lost a lot and didn't realize I saved out of habit. Good times! lol 😄
  6. I don't think I mentioned them, but TinyBuild is a great team of developers. They make quality indie titles, and also support the community quite a bit. I heard they like to collaborate with creators and fans quite a bit.
  7. I kinda wish more consoles did this handheld thing where you can dock it to play on TVs. I heard the steamdeck is actually including an adapter to game on TVs. Or is that old news? I forget. But still, I'd like Microsoft and Sony to do something with handhelds like what Nintendo has done.

    Does PS5

That's one thing I wish Xbox consoles would change. I think the series x and s have internal power supplies now, so that's great. I hated having the external power brick like the 360 and Xbox One has.
  9. Yeah I'm kinda in the same boat there. I had issues with NBA 2K recently that resulted in my save file becoming corrupt. I thought they had cloud saves, but they do not lol. But that was through the Epic launcher. I just pre-ordered 2k22 the other day on steam, so I hope their cloud saves at least work if any file corruption occurs.
  10. That would make sense. Nintendo and co really like to do a mix of genres in their games, so I could see that happening for a new Donkey Kong game. Just hope something comes out soon. I may pick up a switch just for it. 😄
  11. I'd argue PlayStation has less exclusives at the moment than Xbox. Xbox mostly has Gamepass going for them. But they do have a slew of indie exclusives that also gives them a slight edge. Gamepass is what sells consoles for Xbox right now, and they're doing just fine. They may not be reaching PS5 sales levels, but they're still out-matching what the 360 was doing at this point, so they're going to be just fine.
  12. That's fair. I can understand that gaming competitively can result in disliking video games sometimes. I know the anxiety of competing to win any money, would come up for me. I also imagine it would result in you possibly hating the game after a while as well.
  13. Whenever I'd go to a friends or families house, I would often stay away as long as I can. I found that I do lose track of time when I visit fam and gamed. At least when I was a kid I did. Everytime I'd go to my brothers, my cousins, aunts, and uncles places, etc. If they had a gaming console, I'd focus on that for as long as I can. Sometimes I'd lose track of time because of anxiety.
  14. Do you guys know if any gaming promotions are happening with popular store brands? I feel like game promotions are less and less these days. Aside from the Call of Dutys out there that are all over the place in food/beverage brands. It makes me wonder why we don't see other promotions happening with food/beverages and gaming.
  15. I tried on a couch, but I think because I'm bigger weight wise, it's a bit tough for me to utilize that way. I think when I get a bigger/wider recliner, I'll be able to take better advantage of it. And maybe I'll pick this new model up. The extras added on, are starting to entice me in. 😄
  16. If anything it adds a lot to the experience. Making it feel more action packed. I love when random things happen during the gameplay. It aids in the presentation as well. As long as it doesn't affect the gameplay, I'm all for it.
  17. Nintendo is known for doing that. But to be fair, they have the legal right to do so. If these YouTubers make it apparent that it is via emulation, they may not like that.
  18. Honestly it's worth the price I would say. The one I have, even though it's minus the tech aspects of this one, still gets the job done for me. Being able to do my work while sitting comfortably in a recliner is a nice feeling. Just wish I had a bigger recliner to accommodate it more. 😄
  19. Ha no. I aint no pro player when it comes to Fortnite. And I think you have to qualify through other tournaments to even be a part of it. But hey, good luck to the ones who were able to get in. Hopefully you win some big cash. 🙂
  20. I have WWE 2K22 on my wishlist. Debating on pre-ordering it now so I can get it pre-installed before the midnight release. I wouldn't mind playing it as soon as it drops. I really hope it's better than the last 5 years of WWE games.
  21. I'm thinking about checking it out if I ever get a PS4 or PS5. I've heard nothing but great things, and I've watched video that shows it being one of the most beautiful games out there.
  22. That's kinda how it is for most big time franchises. Resident Evil has a big fanbase and it can be a mixed bag sometimes. All big franchises/brands/etc will have a fan base mixed on what they want. Some will want to go into a new direction, while others want to go back to the way the franchise was.
  23. Yeah I figured the 500 hours was on average if you play the game at a slower pace. I think a lot of gamers could 100% this game faster if they know what they're doing.
  24. Cyberpunk 2077 for me, is the most bug riddled game I played in recent memory. It doesn't mean it's stopped me from playing it, but it means that I had dealt with bugs before, but Cyberpunk 2077 was the worst of it. Thankfully there is a game there that still works from time to time.
  25. I still feel like more indie studios are the ones who take their fans more seriously. I love when a studio does early access, because they are allowing their fans to decide on things. That's hard to do for creators, because it implies they will have to change things to appease the gamers.
