  1. Does the Quest work with other games, like maybe on steam and other platforms with VR games? I'm curious because I don't want to be tied down to signing into Facebook. So If I can use a headset like this through Steam for example, will it still require a sign in to facebook?

    Bully 2

I disagree on the politics side of it. We already saw people complain about the first game, but once people saw what the game actually was, that started to die down. I'd assume it would be a similar situation for a Bully 2, but I don't see them making that much of a fuss about it. Sure some will see "Bully" and think bad, but the point of the game isn't to Bully, but it's to defend against the bullies. That's what you get from the game at least. But, I'm doubting they will ever work on it again. I think a Bully 2 could work. It's got the cult following now, that I could see a sequel selling quite well.
  3. Nah, I don't think they needed to do any delays. The reason there is a big problem with scalpers, is because it's easier to do it than in the past. They have bots to help them get in line faster. They find ways to get as many consoles as they can. I think this is our unfortunate future with any new consoles. We thought it was bad years ago, but this is just going to get worse. We need laws in place to stop scalping, because it's annoying to not be able to get a console, and to see people charging sometimes double or triple the cost. It's just scummy.
  4. Yeah it does feel like February was a bit packed this time around. But I think Elden Ring is what is going to be remembered this February.
  5. Toxic communities are going to be everywhere. It's why I just mute the bad parties and call it a day. Sometimes that's the best route you can take. COD for example is still probably a mess, so I stay muted and in a party chat anyway. Better to stay away from the annoying.
  6. Yeah not a fan of Facebook making it a requirement to sign into facebook. But I heard rumors that was going to change so that you didn't need to sign in. I can't find the article, but I swear I heard something about that change. Maybe I'm wrong.
  7. Are you aware of any good ones I can add? I want to let the community that I work with, know about some gaming bots. Anything that results in the community gaming together, would be ideal.
  8. Not really. But I did win games from Konami one year. I won a copy of Metal Gear Rising and PES 2010 I think it was. It was a long time ago lol. But yeah, I thought it was so cool that I won something. I didn't play MGR for very long though. And PES I had no interest in, so traded it years ago on a game trading site.
  9. I see no issue with it, as long as you're not cheating online, I honestly don't care. Cheat in the single player or not, it's your choice to do so. And, if it's something allowed in game, then I see no issue with it. Hell, even if it's not part of the main game, I don't care. It doesn't affect anyone else, so I see no issue with it.
  10. I'm only aware of games like Arma III, and I think there was one called America's Army that was more about training soldiers and such. I don't recall any other military sim style games that are realistic.
  11. I don't lose track of my surroundings, but I'll say I do lose track of time sometimes. There are days where I'd start gaming in the morning hours, and then be gaming until like 6pm. That's what I'd say, losing track of time over losing track of my surroundings.
  12. Honestly, you could say that about every generation. I got a PS1 when I was a kid, does that mean I had a golden spoon in my mouth as a kid? Nah, just because that PS5 is someone's first console, doesn't mean they're some rich family. Please remember that the PS5 has been out for over a year now, people want this console and they are doing their best to get one.
  13. That's fair. A lot of us just want sometime simple to get into. Many times I have played tough games, and wanted to complete, but put it off due to its difficulty. I just want something that's a bit more simplified and doesn't force me to game for hours just to get through one area.
  14. Skyrim is a classic and still holds up after 10+ years. You also have the likes of GTA V, RDR2, Just Cause 3,4, and more. To be honest though, I'm starting to tire of the many open world games coming out. Just becomes repetitive to me.
  15. I'd like to see more animal themed vehicles. Maybe monster trucks in more open world games. I think it adds a lot of fun to have massive vehicles. Also, if they caused destruction, even better. 😄
  16. I like what Anda Seat has to offer. I got the Spider-Man themed one recently and it's very comfy. I'm a big guy, weight wise too, so it has held up quite well these past couple months. If I ever need to get a new gaming chair, I'm for sure getting another from them. Their prices are really good too, so I know they're a more affordable option for bigger people.
  17. Ah okay. Yeah I heard the newer games kinda took a lot away. Didn't the first few games have tons of weapons that you could alter and change? Or was that one of the later titles?
  18. True, but liking a video game is subjective. One person can hate it, while others can dislike it. Nothing wrong with that. I view RDR1 to be a vastly better game myself, but I get why people praise RDR2 over it. To each their own. Well Skyrim doesn't really have fleshed out characters that you follow throughout the story at least not from what I recall. Yeah you have characters, but I'd argue there's more character within RDR2 than in Skyrim. There's a lot to find in the world of RDR2, from hidden secrets, random characters scattered across the world and so on. Not only that, you encounter ambushes, treasures, caves, weird characters, etc. The world can be a bit too open, but as you venture out, you start to find things. Ambushes, weird characters scattered across the world and more. How long did you stick with RDR2 before you stopped playing?
  19. Now, if pay to earn resulted in you actually earning something in return, I'd maybe consider playing them. But when it's more about the studios making cash, I steer clear of those completely. But if there is a chance I could make something from it, then it may be okay.
  20. The most influential game of all time, that's a really tough one, considering it's influential. We could be here all day listing our favorite games, but this isn't about our favorites. It's about one that made history, is talked about often, and so on. I honestly can't think of anything. Maybe one of the N64 Legend of Zelda games, because they seem to get the most praise, even more so than the original classics. We have to think of influential, something that inspired other creators, made gamers happy, and caused more sequels to come out. That feels like Zelda to me, but I may be wrong on that.
  21. Steps to fight trolls. 1. Ignore/mute/block them - Nothing works better than just blocking the trolls 2. Don't stoop to their level or fall for their abuse. They want you to react, that's the whole point of a troll, to get a reaction out of you. 3. If you can't ignore/mute/block someone, leave the game/lobby/mission etc and join a different game 4. Mute the whole damn lobby/room 5. Block communication/friend requests/message requests etc (in some games/services) Trolls are everywhere, comment sections, in game lobbies, and more. It's really how you deal with them that stops them.
  22. Sony and Microsoft have been competing since 2001 I'd say. I imagine Sony Vaio is what Sony made to try and compete with MS, but even so they probably had windows on that machine anyway. I wouldn't say one or the other are worse than the other. But I will say that both sides have their pros and cons. They're both massively rich companies who in the long run, don't necessarily care what we as consumers think. They just want to make as much money as they can, and competing with other companies helps them do that.
  23. It's because gamers like new. Some people will love to play the old consoles still. I still try to play some of my older consoles, but when the new stuff comes out, I try to get what I can so I can game with friends. It doesn't mean I won't go back to my old consoles once in a while, it'll just mean less time with those consoles. But really, it depends on the person and what they want. Some will buy new and still play old and new. But some will focus their attention on the new stuff for the most part. And that's okay.
  24. Morality in video games has been around for a long time. I look at Fable for an example, because in that, you can be good or evil. Most of the time I'm the good guy, making the good decisions. But there are times where I just want to be the bad guy, and see his/her story play out in that way. Sometimes games do story differently when you are evil or good.
  25. I've never played a Ratchet and Clank game myself. Always been a big fan of the Jak and Daxter games, and always went after those games. Honestly, Ratchet and Clank was something I never really cared to try out. But that's just me. I probably missed out on a lot of good games.
