  1. I think a lot of the side quests in games where you had to collect stuff was always annoying to me. It's fine if it's sprinkled around and is very minimal, but when it's about doing the same thing over and over, it gets way too repetitive then.
  2. With Gamepass, I haven't purchased any games through it after playing it through gamepass. I just never saw the point in doing so. Maybe it's because I always play through the game and then call it quits after that.
  3. Idk, I never really had dreams about games like RDR2. For me, it has to be more relating to horror games. I don't normally dream about games though. Honestly, I don't think I have ever dreamed of a video game. Weird that I think of it. Maybe I dreamed of playing games, but not of a game.
  4. Roblox is creating more and more game developers with their tools. I like that a game can give that possibility to kids, to teach them to code and make their own mods and games. Our future with gaming is going to be pretty dope if we can teach the kids to make games at younger ages.
  5. I wouldn't call 4chan deep web by any means. It's got horrible shit on it, but it's not a deep web site. It's not even dark web. I know there are sites out there worse than 4chan. But I agree, their community is a bit crazy. I used to access 4chan many years ago, and wasn't a fan of it.
  6. I saw a meme recently about cyberpunk 2077 and the sex shop in it. It was about the sizes of the 'toys'. I don't remember the page that shared it, but I think it was a gaming memes facebook page, probably the main big one.
  7. Will do. But considering there is no other game, form of media to do with Cobra Kai aside from the show, I assumed people would make the connection. Idk, I think taking place during the competition would suffice. But I guess pitting you through scenarios throughout the movies and series could work.
  8. Yes, but it's not accessible in game. It was in RDR1, but RDR2 you don't go to Mexico. Maybe you guys are confusing it when you get stranded on that island in RDR2, that's on an island in Cuba.
  9. Yeah I think there could be a lot of work done to make your followers work better. The AI was kinda crap in those games, so it's to be expected. I think simply connecting that NPC to you, would work. But that's because of their game engine. I think they've worked a lot on that engine, or even replaced it, so maybe your NPC follower will do better in a future game.
  10. 2021 wasn't a good year by any means, but it wasn't a bust either. There was a good share of good games that released last year, sadly the year was a blunder for many reasons. But the gaming industry did the best they could last year.
  11. Sometimes sure. I haven't played too many games with close friends in a while. Most of my friends are working jobs that stop us from gaming together. I work nights mostly, so I tend to game with my work friends these days.
  12. My favorite game would have to be SMB3. I think my least favorite thing in the game, is those annoying plants that are on the ground, touching them kills you. But you can wear that green bag suit you can jump on them. But yeah, I hate those things the most in the game.
  13. There's too many to count honestly. My friends have suggested games to me my whole life, some of which I have played, but not all of them. I'd probably be here all day discussing the amount of games people suggested that I just wasn't into.
  14. Honestly not sure. I think a lot can be done to make games more advanced and give us a lot more, but I don't know what else we could do. We already have VR, devices to make us feel like we're in VR (kinda) and more. Soon enough, we'll have VR rooms we can sit in and experience a VR world.
  15. Never have I ever had problems sleeping because of games. There has been times where I'm too psyched up to sleep because I played a game for hours that day. Usually I'll think about it as I'm trying to sleep, and I imagine playing it, and that seems to keep me up. It's weird. I used to do it a lot with platformers.
  16. Why are we bringing up NFTs? I don't think that really fits the subject. I mean, if it was a game itself, it'd make sense, but this is about games we think are good, but everyone else hates. Unless that game you like has NFTs and you still like it, but others hate it because of it?
  17. I've been playing Hitman 3 as of late and the shooting is a bit annoying. I might need to try using a mouse and keyboard instead on PC, see if I can control the shot better. But playing it on a controller can be annoying.
  18. It came out in Dec 2020, so very close to the 2021 season, probably counted towards game awards for that year. I think it was Dec 17th, so you may as well call it a dissapointment for 2021 as well.
  19. Have you checked it since? A lot has changed since it released. Still has to go through more changes, but it's becoming more of the game we were hoping for. A bit late, but it's something.
  20. Glitches and such are going to be in every game out there. There's never going to be a perfectly made game with no issues. It just comes down to the developers fixing as much of the glitches and problems up before release.
  21. Yeah cart based games last a lot longer, but they too will eventually degrade over time. It'll just take longer. Disc based games degrade faster because of the plastics and metal used in the discs. I think blu-rays last longer, but even those have a shelf life of like 20-30 years.
  22. Is there a game where you reached the end, but didn't complete it? Like you hit the last mission, but couldn't beat it, or just decided not to. Is there a game where you got that far, but just didn't complete it?
  23. Why not? Just born around that time or did you sell off your older games? I sold off a lot of my older games, which I regret doing.
  24. Yeah, but things can always be retconned. Where else can they go though? They're making up new stories, of course they're going to write it as they go. But I can see your point in the way it's gotten more fantasy driven. I didn't understand that change.
  25. I'm thinking about getting the quest, isn't it the one that's for $299 right now? Seems affordable enough, at least the most affordable. Not sure about any of the others and pricing, but I imagine they're all a bit more pricey.
