  1. I love when games feature characters like this. Because it gives me a character that kinda looks like me lol. I'm a fat dude with a beard and long hair, my brother keeps telling me I should be fat Thor for next Halloween. 😄 But yeah, I'm all for characters like this in games. Hell I'd want to play as a fat character in a game, because I want that option. I want games to give us more creative options.
  2. Sometimes I don't even plan for the end. Sometimes I hit the end of the game and don't even realize it's the end. It's why I get disappointed in some games if they are too short, because some games I just don't want to see end.
  3. I never owned an atari console, but I have a few atari games in my collection. I wouldn't mind getting some of the older atari consoles and buy up some games, but Atari was mostly before my time, and honestly I have no interest in really playing most atari games.
  4. Also, the Dark Souls games are a good one to include I think. I'd include Bloodborne, and the new Elden Ring in the mix, because those are pretty much sequels to the Dark Souls games, not outright sequels, but the same style, gameplay, etc. But with each new release, including Elden Ring, it feels like they are making better games with each new release.
  5. Also, the issue with adding so many real life cars, is due to copyright. I wish it were easier to put real life vehicles in games, but there are times where games can't add certain cars, because they don't have the legal right to include them. That's why GTA makes up their own vehicles, and has to make the designs different so as to not get into any trouble.
  6. Nothing in particular, I just didn't care to finish it. Just don't have the time, and with the amount of stuff you have to do, I felt it wasn't worth it. Better in terms of a few things, but RDR1 still has better horse mechanics, undead nightmare and less weighty controls.
  7. Probably the Just Cause games, but mostly when they introduced the wingsuit, because damn is it so fun to just fly across the map with your grapple hook and wingsuit. It's so freeing sometimes lol.
  8. Yup, once a CD, DVD, etc starts to degrade, or go through disc rot, then that disc will become unusable soon after. Unfortunately CDs will not survive forever. Carts might, but even they have a shelf life. CDs can't be repaired either. Scratches can be fixed somewhat, but eventually it'll run its course and degrade. That's why I'm all for preservation of video games, because eventually those carts, cds, sd cards and so on, will degrade and be lost to time. But if we have a database of all games that we can go back to anytime, that would make life so much easier.
  9. I think a lot of the side quests in games where you had to collect stuff was always annoying to me. It's fine if it's sprinkled around and is very minimal, but when it's about doing the same thing over and over, it gets way too repetitive then.
  10. With Gamepass, I haven't purchased any games through it after playing it through gamepass. I just never saw the point in doing so. Maybe it's because I always play through the game and then call it quits after that.
  11. Idk, I never really had dreams about games like RDR2. For me, it has to be more relating to horror games. I don't normally dream about games though. Honestly, I don't think I have ever dreamed of a video game. Weird that I think of it. Maybe I dreamed of playing games, but not of a game.
  12. Roblox is creating more and more game developers with their tools. I like that a game can give that possibility to kids, to teach them to code and make their own mods and games. Our future with gaming is going to be pretty dope if we can teach the kids to make games at younger ages.
  13. I wouldn't call 4chan deep web by any means. It's got horrible shit on it, but it's not a deep web site. It's not even dark web. I know there are sites out there worse than 4chan. But I agree, their community is a bit crazy. I used to access 4chan many years ago, and wasn't a fan of it.
  14. I saw a meme recently about cyberpunk 2077 and the sex shop in it. It was about the sizes of the 'toys'. I don't remember the page that shared it, but I think it was a gaming memes facebook page, probably the main big one.
  15. Will do. But considering there is no other game, form of media to do with Cobra Kai aside from the show, I assumed people would make the connection. Idk, I think taking place during the competition would suffice. But I guess pitting you through scenarios throughout the movies and series could work.
  16. Yes, but it's not accessible in game. It was in RDR1, but RDR2 you don't go to Mexico. Maybe you guys are confusing it when you get stranded on that island in RDR2, that's on an island in Cuba.
  17. Yeah I think there could be a lot of work done to make your followers work better. The AI was kinda crap in those games, so it's to be expected. I think simply connecting that NPC to you, would work. But that's because of their game engine. I think they've worked a lot on that engine, or even replaced it, so maybe your NPC follower will do better in a future game.
  18. 2021 wasn't a good year by any means, but it wasn't a bust either. There was a good share of good games that released last year, sadly the year was a blunder for many reasons. But the gaming industry did the best they could last year.
  19. Sometimes sure. I haven't played too many games with close friends in a while. Most of my friends are working jobs that stop us from gaming together. I work nights mostly, so I tend to game with my work friends these days.
  20. My favorite game would have to be SMB3. I think my least favorite thing in the game, is those annoying plants that are on the ground, touching them kills you. But you can wear that green bag suit you can jump on them. But yeah, I hate those things the most in the game.
  21. There's too many to count honestly. My friends have suggested games to me my whole life, some of which I have played, but not all of them. I'd probably be here all day discussing the amount of games people suggested that I just wasn't into.
  22. Honestly not sure. I think a lot can be done to make games more advanced and give us a lot more, but I don't know what else we could do. We already have VR, devices to make us feel like we're in VR (kinda) and more. Soon enough, we'll have VR rooms we can sit in and experience a VR world.
  23. Never have I ever had problems sleeping because of games. There has been times where I'm too psyched up to sleep because I played a game for hours that day. Usually I'll think about it as I'm trying to sleep, and I imagine playing it, and that seems to keep me up. It's weird. I used to do it a lot with platformers.
  24. Why are we bringing up NFTs? I don't think that really fits the subject. I mean, if it was a game itself, it'd make sense, but this is about games we think are good, but everyone else hates. Unless that game you like has NFTs and you still like it, but others hate it because of it?
  25. I've been playing Hitman 3 as of late and the shooting is a bit annoying. I might need to try using a mouse and keyboard instead on PC, see if I can control the shot better. But playing it on a controller can be annoying.
