  1. I don't think it was overhyped at all. If anything I think VR is getting better. I originally thought it'd be like 3D tvs, where it was a fad for a while and then went away again. 3D tvs seem to be that, where they come and go and come again. But VR seems to have stayed and is getting better. It's not a fad anymore.
  2. Saints Row was a nice change of pace, but I don't think it comes close to what GTA has accomplished. It was a nice addition to the sandbox arena, but I think with each new release to follow, the fandome kinda dropped off.
  3. I feel like the third game kinda got overlooked. With it being the fist on the PS2, I think people kinda forgot about it once 4 and the others released.
  4. I only really played 7 and 8 myself. 7 was fun, but I didn't get that far into it, and just gave up. I might have the memory card with the save still though. I tried to play FF8, but gave up pretty fast. Just didn't have the patience to do much else.
  5. It can be a while to get a good gaming PC. Took me many years to finally get to a point where I could afford one being built. One of these days I'm going to build a more suped up gaming PC, but it'll be awhile until that happens.
  6. To me, the purpose of games are an escape from reality. To relax, and to get away from the responsibilities of life. It can also teach you, put you at ease, bring you nostalgia and more.
  7. When it comes to certain games, I can't do super dark, because I also need to be able to see where the hell I am going. So many horror games make it too dark, and sometimes you just have to turn the brightness up just to see where you're going. Games like the new RE series are doing it good, because they have impressive lighting to make up for the darkness. But some games you really do need to up the brightness just to see what's going on.
  8. It's only going for $20 on steam, but I've been really cheap as of late and haven't wanted to spend much on anything as of late. Not a bad price, but I might wait until a sale pops up to grab it.
  9. I've only beat the game once myself. Been meaning to re-play it anyway since I got it on PC recently. The ending is going to be rough, but I'm excited to revisit this story once again.
  10. Yeah, as long as we can get ahead without purchasing other items, than I'm fine with that. I'm all good with cosmetic items, weapons and other things, as long as they don't give the gamer an edge over others. That's why I like Fortnite, because you could play the whole season without having to buy a single thing. Of course you can buy the season pass, but that gets you all the unlocks, which kinda pays for itself. But yeah, as long as buying this stuff doesn't give you an edge or makes you OP, then I'm all for it.
  11. Do you guys have any suggestions for smaller headsets? Ones that aren't big and heavy on the head, and can be strapped on without much force. I just want a small headset that doesn't hurt my ears after using for long hours.
  12. True, we are all different and react to media differently. I just meant I never had dreams on games like RDR2. I may have dreams on horror games, but even those I rarely dream about. If anything I don't dream video games often.
  13. Just look at the various sales each console does. I know Sony has their own sales fairly often, same with the Xbox and PC and so on. Look for sales often if you want cheaper games.
  14. lol psyched is not a game, it's a figure of speech, as in I'm excited for something. Psyched is just another word for it. But yeah, there was a lot of games that got my attention growing up. A lot of the wrestling video games got my attention growing up too.
  15. If a game offers me the ability, I'll use an OP weapon no problem. I think a game that comes to mind where you had some OP weapons or powers, was Prototype 1 and 2. You pretty much become an unbeatable beast after a while.
  16. Mexico isn't in RDR2. What you may be referring to is Cuba. There is a short mission in the beggining of the game where Arthur, Dutch and crew get stranded on an island near Cuba. I'm guessing you confused this location for Mexico. I used to have the map memorized in GTA San Andreas, well not memorized in the sense I could read the map good, but I just remembered where to drive. Same in Vice City and such.

    Elden Ring

Came out today and is getting rave reviews. This could very well be a game of the year contender for 2022. They are saying it's the best Souls like game yet. Also, it's supposed to be the most accessible Souls style game on the market, so maybe it'll be my time to shine and do good in these type of games lol.
  18. Also, Cyberpunk 2077 would have been a way better game if we actually delayed it another year or two. Would have saved that game big time.
  19. A lot of people out there focus their attention on just one game. One that comes to mind for me, was the COD series. I used to play those games a lot, sometimes all year long. But I played with friends pretty much daily or as much as I could. May be boring to some, but if you're having a good time, that's all that matters.
  20. Was there ever a game that glitched out for you so bad, that it resulted in you not even playing the first half? Maybe the first few missions? I don't recall any games that rough, but I know there are some out there that had game breaking glitches day one.
  21. I'm sure many have asked them to include a poster, but I'm doubting they will. I got my GTA V poster when I pre-ordered the game, it wasn't even in the box. I'm suspecting that they will do the same for VI. I mean, RDR2 didn't come with a poster either from what I heard, so that's kinda disappointing.
  22. Also, I think with some mods, they are more hidden then the users. Maybe they hide behind their anonymity or something. But I bet there are mods present in just about every online game you play. There has to be with the amount of people gaming online these days.
  23. One of these days I would probably have to get rid of some games. At least if my collection gets to be too big. I don't want to ever get rid of games, but I may have to downsize. Every game I get now, has to come complete.
  24. I love when games feature characters like this. Because it gives me a character that kinda looks like me lol. I'm a fat dude with a beard and long hair, my brother keeps telling me I should be fat Thor for next Halloween. 😄 But yeah, I'm all for characters like this in games. Hell I'd want to play as a fat character in a game, because I want that option. I want games to give us more creative options.
  25. Sometimes I don't even plan for the end. Sometimes I hit the end of the game and don't even realize it's the end. It's why I get disappointed in some games if they are too short, because some games I just don't want to see end.
