You'd think that, but knowing now what it was like, it took so many points to even have a chance of winning anything. The fact that you only got like 1 or 2 points per packet wasn't reassuring either. You needed to drink a ton of kool-aid to get the points you wanted, and I drank a lot as a kid lol. Reminds me of the time my dad and I found a winning lifesaver in a car giveaway. We sent it in and they sent us back a copy of Who Wants to be a Millionaire on PC. We idiotically didn't snap any photos of the lifesaver, but I'm pretty sure we had one that showed the actual car, which was needed to win. My dad was pissed. But, thinking back, it probably wasn't bad, because he'd be stuck with a decent tax bill I would imagine.

Moments in games you are forced to do something you hate?
Kane99 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
I hate when games make you to quick time events that are like simon says. I hate simon says these days and I have no patience for it. It always gets on my nerves when I see the option to do a simon says thing to open a chest or get to some area, or fight a boss even. It's annoying. -
More games should let you remove quests from your quest list
Kane99 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
True. Most gamers will likely go back to them later after beating the main mission, but not everyone does. Some people just quit a game after a while and that's that. The thing about side quests, is that you could simply ignore them if you don't want to play them. Most games feature the main missions ahead of the side quests anyway, so you wan't have to worry about doing a side quest first unless you mark it or follow it or something. -
Sure, but idk where emotional situations come into the equation, but I suppose in some games you do get emotions, but didn't really see how it fits with what you said.

In the end though, it's all subjective. Some of us will really enjoy the music over a game, some of us will enjoy the game more. Just depends on your preferences and what you prefer. Some music is crazy good and really hypes things up in games. And arguably, sometimes a game without the music can be more boring.

There's a very small basic tutorial to start you off, basically telling you to go punch wood essentially and I think it gives you the first few recipes to start out. But other than that, you're kind left to your own devices and to the internet for help.

I think that's why he hasn't been fired yet, because I believe he may have some dirty secrets that this staff has, and in turn of him getting fired or let go, could result in some crazy things happening. I could be wrong, but it would be interesting if that was the case.

I think it's meant to be a slap in the face of Microsoft, because Bungie was huge with Microsoft back in the day. Especially considering they were the creators of the original Halo games, so it's quite weird to hear that the people who made Halo, are now working for Sony.

Top 10 Video Games That Mess With You In Real Life
Kane99 replied to The Blackangel's topic in Gaming Forum
I can understand that. Spec ops the line at first feels like one of those typical third person shooters with action, but then it starts to get really depressing as you keep playing. I could see veterans having a really tough time with it. -
I'd have to say the end of the walking dead season 1. I didn't expect what happened, though I accepted it. It was a great story that i thought was better than the actual show.

Moments in games you are forced to do something you hate?

Racing in games when the drinving sucks. For example, Just Cause 2-4. Also, having to follow someone in a game, or tail them. I hate it in assassins creed and everything else. -
Yeah I played this for a while, but the challenge of it I think pushed me away from it a bit. It's a good game though if you can forgive the difficulty at times.

It kinda walks you through a few things, but the rest is for you to learn essentially. There are many guides and wikis out there that'll do the job much better.

I've played a few games in the past, but it's one of those games I got bored of quick. Not a fan of it, but if it's your jam, more power to ya.

Speak for yourself. To each their own I say. I smoke from time to time myself and have no problems. I'd argue that cigarettes are alot worse. But that's just my opinion.

Oh its probably mostly coming for windows 11, but there will be support for windows 10 too I guess. Do you guys have any Google play game suggestions?
-
I don't, but i know you can play some games on there. I think Steam helps make it easier for people to play a lot of games. But I also heard that Steam or some other game distributors are looking to remove Mac and Linux support. But I don't know if that's true.

I wouldn't say abysmal by any means considering it was reported that it sold around 1.5 million copies on the PS2, that's not counting the 360 remastered version or the version on Steam, which could be another million or more. It also has a fairly decent cult following, and constantly gets asked about for a sequel every so often. There's been a lot of talk about a sequel, so much in fact that Rockstar was rumored to be working on one before it got scrapped. That's the thing though. When Bully first came out, the media lunged at the name, thinking it would be some kind of game where you'd Bully people. But it turned out to be a game where you mostly fought back against bullies. The name isn't the issue, and I don't think people would take offense to it today given the context. Sadly yes. Which means we may not see any single player games from this studio aside from maybe the next GTA, and we know online will be much of the same. But, I'm still holding out hope that they will make a single player experience in Bully again. But if they do, I know for a fact they'll shoehorn in a multiplayer mode.

Also the Hitman series is another I'd like to add. Mainly the recent 1-3, but blood money had some fun locations. But the newer games exceed the past games with their scale alone.

Do you process games in your subconscious before executing your strategy?

Have you ever written down a plan of attack on a game you want to play? Have you ever planned your playthrough? -
The simple answer is that the gaming industry is constantly growing. With each new console, comes more options for video games. Which means bigger file sizes as we continue to make games look prettier and smoother. COD alone takes up about 200 to half a terabyte or storage alone. Now with 4K being a point or interest, games will continue to grow in size.

Oh of course. Theres a lot of inspiration from real life. Inspired by true events is much different than full on true. Most stories in games and elsewhere are inspired by real life events to some extent.

Im just glad that everything uses the same type of headphone jack for headsets. Makes getting headsets easier as pretty much any 3.5mm headsets should work.
