  1. Idk I'd argue that some live service games worn fine. Fortnite is pretty much a live service game and continues to throw out updates, changes and more, all for free. You can of course get battle pass to get more stuff, but you don't need it. But I agree that a lot of games don't keep with it for too long. But you also have to consider userbase. Some don't even take off because they can't find an audience.
  2. I remember the PC games you'd get in kellogs cereals. I think I got the first Spiderman demo disc from a cereal box. Wish they still did that.
  3. Arthur's death was inevitable, he knew it was coming and he put up a fight to the very end. He didn't want to see Micah get away and gave him his best. He made it his final stand and decided to let go. It was a great ending.
  4. Yeah, i kinda want to get the game on PC. Since I have a decent PC, and no PS4 or 5, I can now play God of War, so I'm psyched for that. 🙂
  5. True, but getting into bed with tencent to get into China isn't a good look imo. I always think when studios change their games to appease China is just sad. I wonder how controlled this game will end up being.
  6. I think I downloaded it at one point, but never played it. Maybe this weekend I'll try to get in it. But that's a whole season I need to do, so idk if I can get invested with that this weekend lol.
  7. Yeah true, but 53 mill is still a lot to lose in that way. I can't imagine they were happy about wasting that money. But they will survive.
  8. Pretty cool if it actually works. Makes you wonder if it could help strengthen brain cells. I doubt it, but it'd be cool.
  9. And also didn't China just reverse their game ban a few years ago? I swear there was a ban on gaming in China for a period of time. So maybe the quality of these games is due to their limited time with video games and maybe the limited abilities of the people teaching game development.
  10. They already have a police simulator game, a firefighter Sim, and a bunch of others. A lot of them are probably awful lol. But I think some go for realism and are fun. Just depends on what you're looking for.
  11. And the sizes are only going to get bigger. Games are getting bigger, more polished, and packed with more content. So, expect games to soon reach 1tb in size or more. Hell COD is pretty much already there. With the dlc, updates and more, I bet most people who play COD have just that on their hdds.
  12. Yeah true, those are options. I'd also add roblox to the mix and maybe fortnite as their creative mode adds a lot to the table.
  13. It's rumored they want to do that. But so far there's been no confirmation. I think it would improve it a ton, but I don't think they're going to do it, because of how much each game makes yearly, they'd be crazy to stop that train.
  14. I'm pretty sure Devil May Cry is a Capcom series.
  15. Oh for sure. Movie series and long shows can't really be skipped if you want the full scope of the story. I mean some can, like south park, Family guy, etc. I wouldn't mind GTA continuing a story. Considering people from past games have appeared in a couple games. I would love to see CJ in a new GTA in modern times. Maybe characters from the current game.
  16. Yeah, as long as you don't make it a day long stream daily, than I think your good. I'd say 4 hours a day of gaming is still a lot. But for streaming maybe not that bad. Anyway, one thing I am cool with, is people who do 24 hour charity streams. I think people should switch off the streaming responsibilities every few hours or so. Because doing that for 24 hours straight would be rough.
  17. For sure. Being able to see old friends and hang out with them for a little while is a gift. Not everyone can make it to a party or event like that. I hope to one day get all my past friends together for a hangout. It's nice to just take a day to see friends.
  18. I can't get into the state of decay games anymore. I think it was state of decay 2 that did it to me. I just encountered too many bugs and it caused me to lose a camp or something. It was bugged to the point I couldn't defend against the zombies lol. I'm pretty sure it was state of decay 2. Because didn't it have camps while the first one did not? Or maybe I'm confusing it for the first game. Idk. It's been a long time since I played it.
  19. Weird, I thought I responded to this one. Anyway, I'm pretty sure the first game I played was either Super Mario bros/duck hunt or Super Mario bros 3. I don't remember exactly. I'd guess it was in 92 or 93 when I played it. I was maybe 3 years old. I don't know how long we had a nes before that. Never asked my sister and parents.
  20. I drew on my old 360 face plate. I also put stickers on my two other 360 consoles. But that's really about it. Never got any customized with skins or different cases. I wouldn't mind to, but I don't want to break any consoles in the process either.
  21. Yeah, you can use stereo headsets to listen to the game. On the Xbox One controllers there is a standard headphone jack, so you could put regular headphones in there to listen to the game, or watch a movie without disturbing others.
  22. I don't think Rockstar even announced or said they were working on GTA VI. It's always been implied because of rumors and such. I think one guy leaked some info, but it hasn't been proven yet. He supposedly was right about past leaks though that he reported on. I'm sure you can find it online somewhere.
  23. Not everyone is the same. I know people who love to complete the game 100%. I was kinda a completionist as a kid, but that didn't last too long. Difficulty in some games gets me good, so I sometimes focus on just story and I'm done. But if there is a need to upgrade to progress further, you kinda need the side quests sometimes.
  24. Never played it. But I tried to play the first game on the recently released HD remaster set. I couldn't get into it. Maybe it's because I'm so used to modern controls now. But idk, I just can't see myself finishing it.
  25. Ive been looking at thrift stores for older retro game books. More from the 90s and 80s. It's hard to find stuff like that in my area. Awesome, sounds good. 👌 Hmm, I'll have to check that one out too. Thanks! 👍
