  1. Also, don't most games with quest lists put the side quests and less important quests in their own menu? Maybe there's a way to just view the main missions only?
  2. Honestly, unpacking is probably the only new game I played in 2021. Well maybe teardown as well, but I can't think of much else.
  3. Anyone think we're going to get a more in depth gaming trailer? I feel it's a bit late with it coming out in March. We should have more gameplay content by now. Hopefully in the next couple weeks or so.
  4. I wouldn't say that. They'll still be known and Activision blizzard, and from what i heard will continue working as they normally do. Both names still have a lot of importance, so there's no way they will change the names of the company.
  5. I'll add, that I think one thing I hate in some games is being forced to do races or dumb challenges. I remember the just cause games had some awful racing levels. And some of them I think you had to do to 100% it. After the first few races, I realized I hated it and stopped after a few more. Just not worth it if it's not fun.
  6. It is, because there are potential classics that we all missed because a studio went under and the games source code was lost to time, or a studio just didn't make enough copies to keep it around. On top of that, there are also freeware, shareware and other games released for free and possibly gone. It's sad, but there are people out there doing their part to keep the games alive.
  7. Does anyone here write their own journals about games they played? What video games would you was more fun to journal about?
  8. I think I've only played moto gp games via demo or elsewhere. I never owned one or recall playing one otherwise. 😞
  9. To some people sure. But the trailer that should sell a game, is one that shows what you're getting. That's why I don't like cinematic ones, because they give you the wrong picture. They may give you story, but it doesn't show the gameplay. Now, if they mix cinematic with gameplay, then awesome. But cinematic trailers alone don't paint the picture needed I think.
  10. Damn, that's scary. I've never met anyone who was so addicted they needed help. But there are for sure people out there who do need help.
  11. One thing I'd add, is probably all the vehicles and space vehicles in star wars and star trek. Idk being able to fly everything would be pretty dope.
  12. The reason we're so hesitant about nfts, is that we know the gaming industry will find ways of abusing it and gamers will end up being screwed over in some way. It just feels like that's the course things will take.
  13. Yeah I really need to start purchasing from GOG instead of steam. I'm guess I'm just so used to buying from one place that I forget gog is a viable option.
  14. Narrative based games are my jam. If it doesn't involve me doing a ton to advance the story, I'm good. This looks pretty good.
  15. Who or what studios would you like to see work on a Harry Potter game, or even a HP MMO?
  16. Yeah, you don't have to be a fan of pro wrestling to get into wrestling games. I know people who love WWF No Mercy or WCW Vs NWO Revenge on the n64, and they can't stand wrestling otherwise.
  17. It feels like everyone is jumping into nfts. There's even rumors now that YouTube wants to give their creators the options to use nfts. Idk how that would go.
  18. First PC game I remember playing was probably something for the commodore 64. But I don't remember any games. First game I do remember is probably that impossible contraptions or whatever it was called. Played that in school a ton growing up.
  19. L.A. Noire is true to the location and kinda the time, but it doesn't tell a true story by any means. But it was still inspired by true events I imagine.
  20. Depends on the person. Some people prefer to have an easier time, while others like a challenge.
  21. That's not really how it works. Most remakes or updated graphics, don't take a huge amount of time to do. I mean a lot of remasters just make things pretty. But that doesn't take a too much time. Now if they rebuilt it all from scratch, then I'd understand.
  22. The point of preservation is to make sure we have access to those long gone games, years from now. Many DOS games for example are lost to time, because they never got backed up anywhere. It's sad to think, because there are probably so many classics we'll never get to play, because they were released in a small batch and the master file is long gone. That's why whenever I see old PC games, ones on thin floppies for like DOS, COmmodore etc. Because who knows what games you may find out there in the wild that may end up being rare or something.
  23. In the future, I think I'm going to try to use a broadcaster mic and headphones. I feel like my mic lasts longer if it's not connected to my head, so I'd use a mic stand instead and a different pair of headphones.
  24. I'd like to add, any game where you have to climb a massive mountain, cliff, etc is always exciting to me. I like seeing heights in games, but in real life, no thanks lol.
  25. Yes PS Now, that's what I was thinking. It is similar, but I do second your opinion that Gamepass has more to offer. But, PS Now could get better. I heard rumors a while back that they are still working on making backwards compatibility a possibility. If they can make it possible for all past games to work, that'd be awesome. If they can get some of the games on PS Now, that'd be a big get for them.
