  1. Same here kinda. I don't have the same issue, but my butt starts to hurt if I sit for too long. Thankfully the computer chair I got a bit ago has stopped the pain a lot, so I can sit a lot longer without any pain. But, standing is good to do from time to time for sure.
  2. I don't see a need to remake RE4 either. It still stands up today for what it tried to do all those years back. But I know Capcom want to remaster this game somehow. I would rather they just do a fancy HD upscale and maybe fix some gameplay stuff, but that's it. I don't think this game needs to be re-made from the ground up. At least not for another 10 years or more.
  3. Yeah, Pac-Man has been a huge hit with gamers for a very long time. Though Pac-Man probably isn't as popular as he once was, the franchise is still around and kicking. But stuff like Sonic and Mario are probably leaps and bounds ahead of him in popularity. But that doesn't really matter much, it just means that Pac-Man isn't as popular as he once was, but he's still important to the gaming community for sure.
  4. To each their own I say. Some gamers like regenerating health, while others like more of a challenge. Playing either or doesn't change who you are as a gamer. Some people just differ in interests. I don't think it makes gamers lazy to want to play games with regen health. Some of us just don't have the time to devote to games for long hours, so when regen health is a thing, it just makes that a bit easier on us.
  5. The sad thing about crunch, is that developers and other workers will put up with it because 1.) they think it'll result in better treatment, and 2) They think they need to finish it by the due-date or else they may face trouble. Studios should never force their employees to crunch long hours to complete a game. If it ever gets to that point, then they need to delay the game. It's not fair to the workers who already put their heart and soul into the project. Don't' also run them dry.
  6. Wired controllers I'd argue, are better. Less lattency issues, less input lag, etc. The only downside is that you can't take your wired controller everywhere. But I'd rather use wired than wireless. I got tired of dealing with all the annoying controller problems I had on the 360 for example. The battery kit didn't always work the way I wanted it to. So I pretty much am done with controllers that utilize chargeable batteries, or require batteries. Because they fail me more often than wired controllers do.
  7. Oh I know, I've completed the game already. Just forget since I haven't played through the story in quite a while. The AI for the horses sucked in RDR2 compared to RDR1. I don't know how many times I had to call for my horse in RDR2 to where he/she rarely would listen. But in RDR1, my trusty steed was always there when needed. But I guess that's Rockstar having to make it feel as realistic as possible.
  8. That is quite the collection. I wish I had a collection that massive and worth that much. Could you imagine how bad of a fire hazard that all is though? I sure hope he has had it all insured, because if not, that's a crazy amount of games to have without any insurance in place.
  9. When it comes to rare retro games, I tend to go for the digital copies of the games. I can't afford to buy a lot of the rare games, and due to that, I'll just often get it digitally. I get wanting to have the real cart, but sometimes it's just not possible to get the more expensive cart or even those repros. Eventually I'd love to add the game to my collection one day, but that's easier said than done. For the time being, I'll take at least digital to allow me to play the game.
  10. I think another goal for 2022, is to finally get back into the gaming rhythm. I already started two point hospital, and am looking forward to playing that more this week. But I also want to try more games in my backlog and stick with them.
  11. Nice, I think I've heard of this one, but never used it. Looks very comfy to hold. Does that dpad work like a dpad or more like an analog stick?
  12. There's so much money to be made with a GTA VI. GTA V made billions on release, and still does. But the game is dated, and even though online is a hit, it too is getting dated. It's time for something new. Hell, GTA V has been out for nearly 10 years now. Will be next year. I know Rockstar and company want to make as much cash as possible, so they're going to let the well run dry for GTA V before moving on the GTA VI. It's pretty much I think eventually they have to make GTA VI, because they have to take advantage of the new consoles. Hell, they really didn't take full advantage of last gens consoles I feel. Especially with how RDR2 looked. We'll get one last remaster of GTA V and then hopefully GTA VI will get an announcement. I hope. As for RDR3, I'm all for it. But I hope this time around, they make the Undead Nightmare 2 DLC, because I was really disappointed they didn't release a sequel to it. But, I wouldn't doubt their intentions will be to focus more on supporting online than adding more content to the base game.
  13. I can't say I've heard of any horror stories that developers had in terms of the paranormal, but I'm sure there are some developers and studios who have dealt with what they consider to be hauntings or ghost sightings. I don't believe ghosts are real, but to each their own.
  14. Yup, they were also going to make a root beer flavor, but it never released. I always found it odd that they released these in a walmart in my neck of the woods, because we never get odd things like that. But yeah, it was real and it tasted like garbage. Oh cool, are they like geek fuel style beverages? Or powder you put into a drink?

    Steam Deck

I don't see that happening, since I just don't see it being logical. Steam has a massive library of games, why limited it? I mean, sure they could make exclusives for the Steam Deck, but in reality the steam deck is just meant to play your steam library. I just don't see them doing any exclusives, unless there are games built around that hardware. And even so, I imagine most games released on the steam deck, will drop on steam as they normally would. All I see is February 2022, but no mention of exact release window. I'm guessing more towards the middle to end of February, but we'll see. It could also be a placeholder date, and it might come out later.
  16. Yeah racism is rampant on the internet, games and on social media. It's quite sad that we've gotten used to the nonsense people toss out there. But I think we're seeing a lot less of it these days because of how often people are cancelled for the stuff they have said in the past.
  17. Time constraints or because they know the formula has worked for many other games. I think it's just something they rush doing. Maybe they didn't think ahead of time about how the final boss would work or something.
  18. I want to get my dad to play video games. He played Gran Turismo on a demo disc on the PS1 back in the day, but that was really about it. He helped me play Gyromite a couple times, but that was about it. I want to get him a racing wheel setup and see if he'd enjoy racing games that way.
  19. I was thinking about buying a Roccat gaming mouse last night, but didn't bite. It was on sale for like $44, from $90 or so, but I reading through the reviews and they complained a lot about the mouse wheel breaking easily, or double clicking, scrolling. So I passed on it.
  20. Try playing it online. I don't think they give you nearly any space for storage. Then again, they make RDR2 online a chore to play through sadly. 😞
  21. Sadly CDs are going to degrade over time, it's called disc rot. What happens is the metal or plastic in the disc stars to degrade, and eventually the data on the disc becomes unreadable. CDs sadly aren't meant to last a long time, same with DVDs, blu-rays and other disc based media. At least ones like the CD.
  22. Just started Two point hospital, game is quite addicting and fun. I'm having a lot of fun with it so far. But can only imagine how tough it's going to get when you have to build multiple stages of your hospitals.
  23. I would say Take-Two is, but Rockstar is a bit off from that. Albeit, they aren't perfect by any means, I'd still trust Rockstar over the lot of these companies. Then again, Rockstar is already close to being part of that crew, simply because they are owned by Take-Two, which has become a very greedy company. If anything, I think they've ruined a lot that is to do with Rockstar and their games. I'd argue they ruined a lot with 2K games as well.
  24. Yeah true, having an option to get digital is important. Every game that releases these days comes out digitally anyway. Sadly, I think it's going to result in physical games coming out less and less. Hell, even Switch games are coming out where there's just a code in the case and no cart. Not a fan of that. Just having a case with a code that you literally can't do nothing with.
  25. Most of the people I met on Xbox live were from other states and even countries. One of the guys we met online, actually talked about visiting for my bros graduation party, but he never showed up. Was pretty disappointed, but also not, because I was paranoid how he'd act towards us. But yeah, one of these days, I'm going to contact some of them and ask if they remember how we met, and on what games.
