  1. Even the psone, ps2 slim, ps3 slim, etc. Do you guys own all the available models or just the main ones? I own a regular ps1, phat ps2, and that's it at the moment. I wouldn't mind getting the psone, ps2 slim and ps3, ps4 and 5. 😄
  2. That's true. But you also have to consider how many people work for gamestop. If gamestop closes, losts of people will lose their jobs. Of course that's to be expected, but I think if gamestop stepped up and did the work needed to fix their business, they could still succeed.
  3. Yeah rdr2 has some dumb things going for it. The controls have been weighty since the first game. Idk why, but it seems Rockstar has to make character movement slow and awkward at times. Also, if you have trouble with shooting, try turning off the auto aim and try free aim. I know sometimes when you aim on something it will sometimes aim on another enemy if they run close to you. Turning it off may help.
  4. Do you guys know of any other classic retro guides like these? I'm open to collecting others, as I kinda want get a bunch of them. From retro to current gen consoles. Any suggestions?
  5. It's a show, but I agree. This show could easily be made into a video game. Especially with the amount of super heroes in it. I'm hopeful they make a game based on it.
  6. Same here. If it's useful I don't mind. And sometimes I don't mind if they explain some of the story in loading screens either. Sometimes it gives us some much needed backstory.
  7. I've never been banned from a game before, but was banned on a gaming forum when I was 13 lol. I did get into some glitches on COD back on the 360, so I was worried I'd get banned because of that. But I stopped doing that so I wouldn't get banned.
  8. I was aware of most of that. I liked max Payne 3, but I get why fans wouldn't be into it. I still have yet to play control, but quantum break was mediocre and forgettable. I hope their next Alan Wake is what they originally wanted to do. I just hope they don't end up selling all of their stuff to tencent.
  9. Fmvs were done because it was an easy way to get a story across. Graphics back then weren't on par with what devs wanted, so fmvs were a way to get what they wanted. Then graphics gradually got better with each new generation and fmvs became kinda obsolete of pointless.
  10. Aww, why don't you play retro games anymore? Retro games are great. Theres a lot of them that still control really well.
  11. It's because they are lazy and do the bare minimum in terms of character creation. I think it's needed when it comes to online multi-player games. Especially when it's a massive online game. I want to be able to make a unique character that is close to what I look like.
  12. Well considering the topic is about the game you had in your backlog the longest, I couldn't tell you what the oldest game in my backlog is. A new purchase is going to be fresh in the mind.
  13. Last time I saw I thought the prices went up. But idk, maybe i was looking at the wrong site or something. But yeah, you need a lot of space for these. I don't even have space myself, but I think I'd make room for at least one or two. But I'd prefer a classic arcade machine over the 1up ones, but still I'll take what I can get.
  14. Have you guys ever had to deal with any pain because of guitar hero and other instrument games? I remember cramping up when I used to play guitar hero. It's why I rarely went up difficulty, because I couldn't handle the additional button.
  15. Not really no. I bought myself rdr2 on PC so that I can replay rdr2 single player. I might even play online again as well. Oh I also got a hyper x headset for gaming. That's really about it.
  16. I remember tips and tricks. Sadly I never had high scores to share to them. I think I had a few of the books in my collection too. I'm kinda tempted to buy up some collections of them and other old gaming mags.
  17. I wouldn't say it's their worst. Especially if you count the virtual boy. I guess you could say the GameCube is up there as well as I think the GC didn't sell that well. I wouldn't even say it's a bad console. It Just wasn't the right time. Plus they were always behind the times in terms of hardware. At least since the GameCube.
  18. I can do gross, just don't like seeing anything relating to death. Not only is it disturbing to me, I saw other things that have caused depression. But yeah, seeing that stuff over and over, will result in you being desensitized to it for sure. I've seen stuff like pain olympics i think it was called. I saw 2 girls 1 cup. It was more gross and funny if anything.
  19. Well both of those consoles sold fairly well. The Gameboy especially. This topic is more about the consoles that came and no one really paid much attention to. Like that Panasonic console. Or the Atari Jaguar. Genesis sold pretty well.
  20. I'd say unpacking, because it was kinda overlooked. It's a fun and relaxing game. I don't get why people thought it was some kid game. Yeah, sure it is, but it's got a story that plays out as you unpack. It's kinda comforting as corny as it sounds.
  21. I honestly couldn't tell you. There are so many composers in gaming, that I couldn't say just one. I know Anamanaguchi is an 8bit band that has done music for a few video games, but I don't know any important artists who do music for many video games. Maybe Akira Yamaoka, who's done a lot of the silent hill games and games from Konami.
  22. Maybe NFTs won't become as popular as I first thought. I heard Square Enix got some backlash when they announced nft features in final fantasy. Sounds like gamers aren't into nfts like everyone first thought. Good, maybe this means nfts won't be around too much longer.
  23. True, it allowed a lot us to game more. I work from home too, so I get to play whenever I have time off. But 2022 should be a much better year, I hope.
  24. Yeah I didn't think about who owns the rights to the actual game. I think Microsoft still owns the rights to the game, so maybe a sequel isn't possible. Unless Microsoft has another dev team work on a sequel.
  25. Yeah some games can do that. I also think the controller is another problem. I noticed that the Xbox one controller for example, the trigger buttons sometimes hurt my fingers. So that could be another issue.
